When he returned to his room, it was finally 7:00 in the evening. Then, the mont he had been waiting for appeared.

[Lucky Spin System]

[A day has passed. One spin has been given to the host.]

(Do you want to spin?)[Yes] or [No]

He clicked Yes, and the system began to spin for a random reward, the wheel filled with sections marked by question marks.

After a few monts, the pointer gradually slowed down and ca to a stop on one of the reward sections.

[Congratulations, you’ve won a skill: Perfect English]

[Skill: Perfect English

Then a faint light pulsed from Jeff’s chest. He blinked in confusion as he saw it, and suddenly his mind felt as if it were expanding.

Words? over a million of them, flooded into his thoughts, like a silent wave crashing through a library he never knew existed.

Pronunciation patterns, idioms, expressions, and transitions all settled into place, each one clicking together like puzzle pieces falling into perfect alignnt.

He could even hear his own inner voice shift. It was no longer awkward and no longer unsure.

It was calm and clear, like a seasoned narrator reading from a perfectly written script.

To test it, he spoke a word aloud. "Contrary to popular belief, the intricacies of cognitive processing aren’t inherently tied to linguistic limitations," he said casually, without blinking.

"This is... incredible," he said in awe.

His tone was smooth, and his pacing was natural. There was no hint of hesitation, accent interference, or awkward phrasing.

Whenever he spoke a word in English, even if his pronunciation was not bad, he would sotis stumble, especially when trying to say sothing directly.

Words would get caught in his throat, often forcing out a hesitant "ah-ah-ah." But now, there was no such thing.

He picked up his notebook, flipped to a random essay draft, and began rewriting it without thinking.

"While there exists a clear disparity between traditional and modern education systems, it is the integration of technology that inevitably facilitates a more inclusive and adaptive learning environnt."

Jeff then paused as he read what he wrote.

"Wait... did I just use disparity, facilitates, and inevitably in the sa sentence?" he thought.

These words were not entirely unfamiliar to him.

However, he had never really used them before, as he was not accustod to incorporating such vocabulary and did not fully understand their usefulness before acquiring the skill.

Curious and amazed, he decided to write sothing again to witness the miraculous effects for himself.

"The effectiveness of the thod lies not in the system itself, but in how it is implented ticulously, creatively, and with an awareness of the learner’s context."

"Bro what am I? A university professor?" Jeff mused to himself.

The skill was truly remarkable. If he wished, he could rewrite a single sentence in hundreds of ways—making it simple, complex, professional, or anything in between.

"So this is what it feels like to master a language," he whispered in a low voice.

There was no struggle. No second-guessing. Only fluency, confidence and clarity.

Jeff jumped onto his bed, eyes wide with realization.

"This skill... it’s not just about speaking better. It’s about being heard."

From that mont on, English was no longer a subject to study. It beca a weapon in his arsenal.

He could not wait to surprise his teachers and classmates during the upcoming research defense.

In his previous life, he had always dread of sothing good happening to him, like being truly exceptional at sothing, where no one could match him.

That long-held fantasy was granted to him by the system, and the overwhelming feeling made him want to tear up, knowing his dreams could finally co true.

But he held back, thinking it would feel a bit gay if he actually cried. With that, he decided to study for his upcoming exam.

He did not fully dive into the material right away, but as he began reading, he was surprised by what he found in his Reading and Writing module.

While familiarizing himself with the content and trying to morize key concepts, he realized he could comprehend everything with remarkable speed.

He understood it clearly, leaving him shocked by what was happening, "System why did I beco smart?" he asked in disbelief.

[Correction: You were always smart. You just couldn’t read like a human spell checker before.]

[With the skill ’Perfect English’ acquired, it enhanced comprehension, retention, and communication skills are part of the package. You’re not becoming smarter, Host. You’re just finally understanding what you’re reading.]

Hearing this, his mouth ford an O shape, as if a whole egg could fit inside. With that, he began morizing everything.

He finished an eleven-page module in about fifty minutes, which left him completely shocked.

Normally, it would take him around 2 to 2 and a half hours to morize sothing of that length.

The reason it usually took so long was because he morized every sentence word for word. Bars for bars.

Unlike others, he did not just morize the keywords of a specific topic instead, he morized the entire definition or description.

This alone showed how amazing the skill’s effect truly was. With that, he moved on to the rest of his subjects.

Subjects like Physical Science, Critical Reading and Writing, Understanding Culture Society and Politics, and Earth and Life Science were next on his list.

As for Practical Research, it focused solely on their research study, so there was no need to morize a module.

They only had to concentrate on developing and refining their project. anwhile, tomorrow would bring another six subjects, each expected to provide its own set of pointers.

After a total of four to five hours, he had morized everything.

"Dang, I feel like I’ve beco inhuman. I think getting a perfect score in all subjects is actually possible," he said, half-believing that this was real.

He was capable of perfecting exams, as proven by his past performance—out of eleven subjects, he had perfected eight, making him the top student in his class.

There was one thing he truly excelled at, and that was morization. If he took it seriously, he believed he could perfect every subject.

Except for one: Pagbasa at Pagsusuri ng Iba’t Ibang Teksto Tungo sa Pananaliksik. This subject felt like hell to him.

He struggled to comprehend it because the sentences were written in Filipino, and despite being Filipino by birth, reading in the language still posed a challenge for him.

When he was a kid, he loved watching cartoons and reading books in English, so this subject had always been his worst nightmare.

Aside from that, he could perfect anything. However, due to boredom and a lack of motivation, he had never truly given his full effort.

But now, with the skill Perfect English, everything had beco easy. All those difficult concepts that used to take ti to process now flowed smoothly into the core of his mind.

Without realizing it, because he was in the so-called zone from studying, the system suddenly appeared once again.

[A day had passed and your skill, ’2x Earning’ was activated.]
