Taking a deep breath to calm down, Byrne Callia clenched his fist as he decided to do sothing that he never expected himself would do.

anwhile, Zen laughed loudly upon hearing this decision Byrne Callia made.

"But do you really take for a fool and expect to leave the Callia family in this half-ass decision?" Zen said calmly but his calm deanor was rely a decoy as they could tell he was angry.
Krista Dragoon was also disappointed by Byrne Callia's decision so she allowed Zen to wreak havoc upon him.
'Hmph, I already gave you an easy answer and you dared to play like this. Good luck on dealing with Zen,' Krista Dragoon sneered inwardly as she closed her eyes and leaned on Zen's shoulders.
Byrne Callia saw her inaction to stop Zen from going overboard as he smiled bitterly.
"Please, you have to understand my situation. O-Our family are known to never put our foot into politics so spare us from fighting the empress directly." Byrne Callia pleaded for rcy because he knows, offending a platinum cardholder would never last long in this world.
Too many families and Kingdoms have perished to prove this statent already and he does not want his Callia family to follow them and be shad for centuries by others.
Zen gave up trying to chat with him as he held Krista Dragoon's waist and stood up.
Afterward, Zen whispered softly to Krista Dragoon, "Whatever Krista, we just won't need the Callia family at all if they vanish from this world."

Zen made a surprised expression but Byrne Callia can tell he was just faking but there was nothing else he could do.

Afterward, Krista Dragon said, "Great decision Patriarch Byrne Callia, I knew you were a smart man to not know how to weigh the pros and cons."
"What else can I do besides allying ourselves with a platinum cardholder?" Byrne Callia asked sarcastically.
No matter what decision he made, his family was destined to be embroiled in politics, and choosing the empress side was a guaranteed death sentence since Zen was in front of him, unlike the empress.
Not to ntion, he noticed that his daughter, Daphne Callia, seed to be a little bit interested in Zen.
Therefore, he decided to add a condition that would benefit them in the long run.
"Although I agreed with forming the alliance, I wished that Zen could take my daughter as her woman. My daughter doesn't need to have the wife status as even a concubine would be enough." Byrne Callia said in a serious tone, shocking Krista Dragoon and Zen.
Krista Dragoon held a gawking expression as she said, "Aren't you selling your daughter out now at this point?"
She wasn't willing to have Zen accept this kind of condition and it was clear that she was being jealous.
Zen already had multiple won surrounding him and if Daphne Callia was added to the tray, she feared that he wouldn't even rember their nas, much less their facial appearance.
"I know it may sound ridiculous but based on my eyesight, I can tell they both shared a bit of attraction to each other so I'm not forcing a relationship upon them," Byrne Callia explained his reason to Krista Dragoon.
He needed her approval to accept this kind of condition and if she did accept then he can rest assured that no matter what happened to their family, Zen would definitely lend a helping hand to save his woman's family.
'Don't say father never dotes on you when I made this decision for you, Daphne,' Byrne Callia sighed inwardly as he waited for Zen's response.
