Chapter 230: Giants

As the most experienced Blessed on the team, and also the Blessed with the highest rank among these people, the captain reorganized the position of the Blessed under his command to the most strategic places.

With the knowledge of the terrain that Noah provided, the archers and wizards were able to position themselves on a relatively safe hill and far from the battlefield where they could damage the bosses at will, without worrying about the attention they would attract from those monsters.

And counting on the strange fire of Noah's that filled the monsters with an abnormal rage, they would be able to keep the attention of the two bosses between Noah and the warriors with ease.

The only problem with their strategy was the ability of the warriors. While it was common knowledge that Noah had a lot of movent skills, which made it very difficult to hit him without an area damage ability, that did not an that the warriors were like that, too. If one of the giants kicked one of the warriors, they would only have their agility and stamina to fall back on to withstand this attack.

Fortunately they had consud many essences, so at least so of their attributes had been increased on a large scale, compared to a Blessed One who had just reached Rank C. But still, the attacks of these giants were not sothing they could ignore.

"Very well, the purpose of this invasion is to test you in exchange for rit points, not to throw you in an ant nest and hope that you survive, so if soone gets into a life or death situation, I will intervene. After all, you are still part of the Khan family, and your presence is valued by us. However, this help is not without cost. Every ti I help soone, know that there will be a great rit point penalty for that person or for the person who caused their situation," The captain explained.

Noah thought this was a good tactic for the Khan family. Even if a Blessed Rank B needed to be delegated to be the captain of the Rank C teams, the cost of doing so would be rewarded in the lives he would save, and of course, the cost of having to do sothing in the Fortresses would be rewarded by rit points.

Noah even deduced that the rit points that would be debited from the rescued Blessed would probably go to the captain's own points account as a paynt from them for saving his life, and of course, for accepting the orders to co to a lower tier Rank C Fortress, where he could have used his ti to break into Rank B Fortresses and earn rit points for himself.

"With everything cleared up, let's start the attack," the captain stated.

Hearing this, Noah quickly flapped his wings and flew off towards the giants, this ti not bothering to remain unseen by the big 20 ter monsters made of stone, while the other warriors ran over land.

To attract the monsters' attention to himself, Noah quickly threw two [Fireballs] towards the giants and hit one on each.

With the small size of the fireballs compared to the large size of the giants' bodies, it was expected that they would not even react, especially since they were made of stone.

But when the fire touched their skin, it was visible in the expressions on their humanoid faces that they were bothered by it. Like a human being stung by a small bee, it was not a pain that made a warrior scream, but still, it was a pain that bothered him a lot.

In anger, the two giants rose from the place where they were lying and looked around, scanning for the small existence that had caused this uncomfortable pain to them, and as Noah was the only human flying around, it was obvious that he was the only one that had caused that damage.

Between the giants, it was possible to differentiate one from the other with ease. One was thinner, which made humans assu that it was the giant who could summon smaller monsters, relating him to a magician. And as for the fatter monster, they believed to be the giant warrior who would fight them hand-to-hand.

To Noah's surprise, the giant who ran towards him was not the fatter giant, but the slimr giant. Because of his 20 ters height, with each step the giant took, at least 15 ters were shortened in the distance between the two.

And unlike what Noah imagined, this giant's agility was not compatible with his size. Noah expected to find a big, clumsy monster, but in fact that giant ran like a professional human runner - no unnecessary movents, no loss of balance, nothing that Noah could expect from a figure as big as this one.

But if this giant was the fighting monster, Noah had to ignore the fatter monster and leave it to the other warriors to deal with it. That was the tactic they decided to deploy.

Because of Noah's superior agility, and the 3D movent he could use because of flight, they decided that letting Noah deal with the more agile monster would be the wisest choice, and it was proven that they were right.

Every ti Noah dodged an attack by the giant, using his [Fire Claws] he left a small cut that began to corrode the giant's large stone skin.

Unfortunately, the resistance of this giant was much greater than that of the smaller (by comparison) monsters, which made Noah's attack much less effective. So, to make up for it, Noah summoned his eight imps on the ground and ordered them to attack as well, making the damage Noah did not only consist of his [Fire Claws], but also to the attacks of the imps on the dungeon floor.

Even though these imps died easily and their attacks weren't even close to the effect of Noah's attacks, seeing how Noah's flas were covering an ever-larger area of ??the monster, they still generated a lot of energy for Noah to absorb.

This continued to a point where even when Noah was not using his [Fire Claws] to counterattack the giant, he would still be using his [Hell Fire] as a flathrower while flying around the giant to set the largest possible area of the monster's hide on fire.

For wizards and archers, seeing the scene of a stone giant gradually transforming into a giant of fla as it scread in anger and desperately tried to kill that little human who flew around him, just as a human tried to kill a mosquito flying around him, was more comical than anyone expected, more so for the captain, who even in his wildest dreams never imagined that in this Fortress they would be dealing with these giants in such a way.

But seeing how the other warriors were beginning to have difficulty dealing with the fat giant, with a single wave he ordered the magicians and archers to start attacking the fatter giant with a torrent of attacks.

He didn't even think about sending them to attack Noah's giant, as they could accidentally hit Noah in flight, so they decided to eliminate the other giant first and then focus on the giant Noah was dealing with together.
