CHAPTER 139
"Hey love," Xander greeted, dropping the file on his desk.
"Hi, Honey."
"Co on in, babe."
She nodded at him and then closed the door, walking in majestically.
"I must say," Xander started, eyeing her lustfully from head to toe. "I am surprised to see you visiting . Miss ?"
"What do you think?"
"I think you did miss and a lot for you to co on over here to see ."
"Wrong. I miss you so much and I am not here to see you but to pick you up so we could go ho." Her smile shone with mischief and he mirrored hers. He could tell she was up to sothing but that sothing seed to involve him in such a nice way.
'Is soone eager for sothing?" Xander asked, standing up.
"Yeah. I am not just eager for sothing, I am eager for soone. I am eager to have so alone ti with her boyfriend."
"Ah! So that's what it is. Hmm." Rather than moving forward to go and et her, Xander crossed his legs and arms, resting his body on the desk and waiting for her to co.
This action of his had only caused Jade to feel sad that her honey pie wasn't as eager as she was.
"Why the frown? I thought soone was all happy a few seconds ago?" Xander asked feigning ignorance.
"That's because it seems I am the only one interested in spending ti together and you are not."
"Syas who?"
'Says ," Jade responded, pouting her lips so cutely at him and crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"Nonsense. I want my baby too but I want to see it first from my baby just how much she misses ."
"Really? I miss you so much."
"Are you sure?"
"Definitely."
"Then why are you standing there like you are scared of ?"
Her lips moved to the side in a corner of a smile and with her bag in hand, she rushed forward and enveloped him in a tight hug pulling him in and hugging him so tight like it was the last ti she was seeing him.
They stayed there for so seconds, hugging each other and basking in the warmth the other provided.
"Hmm…" Jade took in a deep breath and smiled into the hug. Her aching heart had now cald down as she took in his scent. She was missing him so much these days and it was like her heart was trying to tell her that sothing wrong was going to happen.
She did not know why, regardless she was determined to do all that she wished to, so as not to have any regrets in the future.
Co rain, co sunshine, she would be happy for the ti she spent knowing him.
"My darling slls nice as usual," Xander complinted.
"Sa goes for you, honey."
'If only you know how calm he beca now that you are here. It had been so hard keeping him in check. I am happy that he is calm now and more than anything, I am glad to have you with , Quinn Wales.' Xander thought to himself in his mind.
They pulled apart finally but their hands remained locked on the body of the other.
"I want you, Quinn Wales. More than you would ever know," Xander whispered only to her hearing with his forehead pressed against hers. "I bless the day I set my eyes on you every day. Thank you for coming into my life and filling the void that remained."
"Thank you for loving and showing how beautiful love can be."
"No, I should thank you for teaching friendship and how to make friends, while also fighting for the hand of the woman I love."
"Hahaha…. You really were a pain in the ass back then," Jade laughed at him.
"Sure but you cannot bla . All my life I have only known command and order. The only true friends I have ever had would be Sky, Jay, and Jenny."
"But you made true friendship with them."
'True but perhaps that was because our parents knew each other. We have always known each other since we were babies."
"Wow, that is such a long ti."
'A very long ti, my love. You have no idea how long."
"Hey, why are you saying it as you have lived for a century or sothing."
"You never know hahaha," Xander teased, pinching her a little on her waist, causing Jade to yelp in response and smack at his arm.
"Stop it, you naughty CEO." Jade smiled while scolding him. He looked so cute being carefree and not the hardened CEO she sotis saw.
Staring into those blue eyes of his, Jade felt so lost in them. She wished she could stay in his arms just like this forever.
He brought joy to her already gloomy life and he never knew how much she cherished him for that.
She had never thought that she would be able to find love again after what had happened to her family but here she was completely head over heels with this CEO.
"Be Mine," Jade muttered under her breath. She was recalling his past words and as her eyes dropped to a close, her smile remained as she ntioned it again.
Unknown to her, Xander's overly sensitive ears heard it all and he smiled with her. "I would be yours, now and until forever."
Jade imdiately shot her eyes open when she heard his voice. His srizing blue eyes stared deeply into hers, searching for the warmth and love in hers that matched with his.
He did not know why every ti he looked at her eyes, he felt like there was sothing more hidden in them but when he tried to search them even more while looking at her heart through her eyes, he always ended up getting lost in them rather than finding out the hidden secret.
"I love you."
"I love you too, my love."
"I know."
"I know you know," Xander whispered back to her and pecked her forehead.
"And that is why I want you and more. I want all of you, Xander." As she said that, Jade tilted her head back a bit and did what he wasn't expecting, she used her hands around his neck to pull his head down closer to hers and crashed her lips on his.
Xander wasted no ti in granting her entrance and parted his lips for her.
Easily her tongue slid into his warm mouth and she let her tongue brushed against his tongue and twirl around it.
Within seconds, both of them were already kissing each other passionately, forgetting where they were.
"Aahhh…" Jade moaned against the kiss. Sohow, kissing him now felt even more different than before. She looked up through her lashes and saw his eyes partly opened and no longer were they their normal blue but a different darker shades of red.
He had released his aura, allowing himself to feel what it took to kiss her in a little shift into his natural form. But he was careful enough not to transform lest he expose his secrets to her.
But unknown to Xander, his eyes were partly open while his consciousness was slipping a bit and she had seen it.
At that mont, Jade blinked just to be sure she was really seeing what she was seeing but then he closed his eyes, and when he opened it to look at her, no longer were they the darker shades of red but now blue.
She shook her head, clearing the thoughts from her mind. 'No, it was just my thoughts. I got too carried away by how that kiss was so good and now I am seeing things.' Jade thought.
"Any problem love? Did I not kiss you well?"
"No," Jade shook her head and managed a nice smile. "Far from that in fact. It was perfect and by far one of the best kisses we have ever shared," Jade confessed.
"Really?" She could see the look of shock in his eyes but as quickly as it ca, he masked it and changed them to his normal eyes.
"Yeah and I just had to make sure that it was my honey, I am kissing," she laughed at her own words.
It was truly cute for the two of them. Xander also noticed that these days, she was more open to him and even willing to try different new things with him.
He felt that the bind between them was now growing stronger.
"I am glad to beat your expectations."
"Good then. I wish you would beat my expectation more than this for the other aspect."
Xander squinted at her words. "What other aspect?" He wasn't so sure about what she was saying and she could clearly see his confusion.
Her smile widened at his confusion and she decided to say the words that would leave him smiling like a child for the whole day.
"I'll tell you." She stood on her toes and brought her lips to his ear. "I would love to make love to you and I want you to take to heaven."
