"You know how to do it?"

Arielle shook her head. "I don’t have the necklace left by Amadea and Princess Cecilia. The necklace that connected to Birwick is in Maxieno’s hand, but I still have the three eggs left by Abigail..."

Arielle raised her hand. There was a red circle in the form of tendrils that showed the seal of the agreent between her and Maxineo. Otis once said that if the seal was broken physically, Maxieno would feel it.

"If I try to break this seal, then Maxieno will sense it and will visit the palace right away. I want to ask him about the dragon clan in Thebis before we et them directly."

Ronan had his doubts about it. The seal on Arielle’s hand was already embedded in the girl’s skin. If what she ant by breaking physically was by injuring her hand, then Ronan would never allow his wife to do that.

Even a small wound could be fatal. He knew that Arielle was in a hurry to save everyone. His wife must have felt sorry for the people who asked for her help earlier. However, the only thing they could do at the mont was to wait for an invitation letter from Princess Zohra.

"Hm... sorry, Arielle. But your reasons can’t convince completely. I still feel that waiting for the invitation from Princess Zohra is better."

"Ronan, we have to et with Maxieno again. Maxieno is the son of ra! The leader of the dragon clan at that ti. Isn’t it also said in the moir that ra betrayed Amadea? Perhaps Maxieno knew sothing about what happened at that ti. We have no other choice but to see him, Ronan."

Ronan knew about that, but he wasn’t convinced that cooperating with the dragons living in Birwick was a good thing. Rembering that the previous dragon leader had betrayed Amadea as the guardian of Mount Birwick, although he should be respected.

At that ti, Princess Cecillia was pretty good friends with ra’s wife, so why did ra do it? Ronan didn’t want the sa thing to happen to his wife. When Arielle completely trusted the dragons, one day they would betray his wife like they did to Amadea.

From Ronan’s point of view, they were too suspicious. Besides, they also hated humans. He didn’t want Arielle to get hurt by trusting those cunning creatures too much.

"But, ra was also the one who betrayed Amadea and Princess Cecilia, right?" Ronan asked for affirmation.

"That’s what we knew from Princess Cecillia’s side. We don’t know what’s going on behind it, do we? We also don’t know how Amadea sealed Birwick into another dinsion because in the moir, it’s only written how Princess Cecillia ran away from Birwick. Ronan, in one event, there are many parties involved. Like a coin that has two sides. Maybe... we can get the last piece of information about ra that was related to the incident, right?"

Ronan couldn’t help but grumbled quietly. What his wife said, of course, was all true. One incident had many points of view and the moir they had read was written by Princess Cecillia, which ant it must have been influenced by what the princess saw, heard, and also felt.

It was not an objective record.

"The trip to the palace will take several days, and we have limited guards as well as maids to be divided in two."

Arielle sat at the table, smiling. Ronan could see his wife’s eyes, which looked sad a mont ago, twinkled brightly.

"Isn’t there you who will always protect ? Besides, now I no longer need to use a carriage. I can ride a horse by myself."

"The distance is very far, Arielle. Even if you can ride a horse, with the speed you can do for now, it will still take more than two days."

"I know, but I am a strong person. I will never be afraid of the cold now. Even when you feel cold, I can warm you up," Arielle said with a blush.

Ronan admitted his defeat. It seed he couldn’t convince his wife any further. Arielle had decided she wanted to go back and try to summon that damn dragon. So Ronan would follow her wish.

After all, he wasn’t really interested in seeing the sea. He was only here to be with his wife.

"Okay, we’ll leave tonight so we can reach the nearest inn and stay there for the night. After that, we’ll continue our journey again in the morning. How about that?" Ronan offered his plan after careful consideration.

"Of course! Thanks for your understanding, Ronan! You are the best!" Arielle exclaid, hugging her husband very tightly. Ronan lowered his feet to the floor again so as not to fall backwards. He returned the girl’s hug just as tightly as hers.

"Then, you have to rest first. I will call the maid to provide supplies and order the guards to prepare the horses for our journey to the palace".

The news about Ronan and Arielle returning to the capital first without boarding the ship reached William’s ears. William, who had a rest, asked Ronan about his purpose for returning so suddenly.

"Ronan, what do you an you will return to the capital? How about tomorrow’s trip? Irene is looking forward to it..."

"Oh, Irene can get on board as scheduled, but Arielle and I have urgent needs and must return to the palace imdiately."

"Only two of you?" William asked confusedly.

"Yeah, enjoy your vacation while you can because once you co back, I’ll have lots of things for you to do."

William looked at Ronan who went to his room again.

Irene, who had just arrived after seeing all parts of the naval base with Lazarus and Aie, gave the sa reaction. She, Lazarus, and Aie were shocked by Ronan’s and Arielle’s decision to return before they set sail to the sea.

Kael, who was there, explained what had happened to him and Arielle while visiting the port city. He told all of it, except for their purpose of going there to buy Aie’s birthday present.

"Did they co back because of that incident?" William asked Kael.

"I think so. But about the things they are planning, I don’t really know," replied Kael with a shake of his head.
