"Tell what you are planning, little wolf?" asked Grandmother Bertha who now put down her wooden cane and sat in a more relaxed position.
There was no more tension on her face, and she was now fully listening to what Ronan was about to explain.
"Regarding Thebis... I got information that the eternal fla can’t be extinguished. It’s like a legend in that place, and we found several clues correlating the legend of Thebis with the curse happened to Northendell."
Princess Bertha beca even more interested.
"Did you know all of this from the sa literature that stated Leonor as a princess, Arielle?" Princess Bertha asked Arielle who was sitting beside Ronan.

"Hm ... Northendell ... Thebis and Leonor ... even my grandfather visited Thebis at the end of his expedition. From the start, it seems like it was all connected to each other, given the condition of Thebis, which is more or less the sa as Northendell. However, Thebis is covered by the vast expanse of desert and the sun is scorching hot as if there were two suns there, while other kingdoms like Nieverdell and Wolgast look fine," muttered Princess Bertha, trying to draw a line that happened between the two kingdoms.
Princess Bertha explained the current state of Thebis politics, where the anti-eternal fla group began to move restlessly. They were a minority group that wanted the eternal fla to stop burning Thebis. However, long ago, the royal family and their royal vassals who were often called pyromatians, exterminated this group because they took advantage of the hot and dry environnt of the kingdom to expand their territory.
Ronan already knew about it. Back then, there was no such thing as Thebis or Northendell. However, ever since King Theodore invaded and conquered many small kingdoms, then rged them together, Northendell was finally ford as a kingdom.
Nurous kings tried to expand their power. One of them was Thebis, and they beca one of the kingdoms that succeeded in becoming a large empire side by side with Northendell and Wolgast.
Arielle and Ronan were listening carefully about the politics of the Thebis Kingdom, which were not doing well at the mont because their king was not as capable as the previous king.
King Al Nasser preferred to enjoy a party over taking care of the kingdom affairs. He also carried out an invasion of the border area without worrying about the consequences. Ronan nodded in agreent because recently Al Nasser’s military movents had been very reckless. After slandering his brother for poisoning his wife, his first brother was found guilty and then killed on the spot. Then, Al Nasser was made the new crown prince. The following year, after the previous king died due to old age and complications, Al-Nasser ascended the throne and beca a king.
At the beginning of his reign, Al Nasser was a calm person. The man had co to Northendell several tis to attend parties held by Ronan’s father and mother. Ronan also had t with that bronze skin and brown hair man a few tis.
However, since Ronan beca a king and he rarely held parties except for birthday parties, he had never invited Al Nasser to his kingdom again. Ronan didn’t like the man because the man had killed his own wife and slandered his brother, whom Ronan knew was more worthy of being a king.
After his wife died, as a new king, Al Nasser was quite crazy about won. He had his own palace for his won, which he called a harem. Rumors said that he had 999 won there. He didn’t make it to one thousand because the only thing that could fill his heart was his wife.
Arielle frowned when she heard the story that Grandmother Bertha had told. She didn’t know what kind of belief it was, but she didn’t find loyalty there.
"The worse thing is, now the princes and princesses of the Thebis Kingdom are killing each other to get a stronger position. Just imagine, out of 999 won, how many children did that stupid man have?"
"Stupid man?" asked Arielle, who couldn’t believe that Princess Bertha swore at the king of another kingdom.
"That’s what Princess Zohra said. Even her younger siblings didn’t like her. If you want to cooperate, I can put you in contact with soone. However, it depends on your goals... if you want to overthrow Al Nasser’s power and replace him with a new king, no matter how his personality is, I will introduce you to Prince Waheed. He is the second prince who will most likely replace Al Nasser, considering the crown prince is actually a sick person due to being poisoned by the eleventh concubine."

"Prince Khaled," soone answered from behind a bookshelf.
Arielle and Ronan glanced sideways. Ronan wasn’t surprised at all because he had seen a silhouette hiding behind the dark bookshelf. After all, the glimring from the necklace and gold bracelet couldn’t be completely hidden.

Princess Zohra looked at the king’s face one more ti and, because Ronan was not wearing his mask, the long scar on his face could be seen clearly. She just smiled, then sat beside Princess Bertha.
