Irene nodded again, and Aie concluded that the eting was enough. She told Romario to go ho, and she escorted Irene back to do sothing else. She wanted Irene’s mind to be distracted.
Tomorrow would be the announcent of the admission test. Aie tried to find a way so that Irene could forget about it.
However, when she asked Irene to paint, the child refused. Irene returned to the library and took a book and paper instead.
"What are you going to do, Your Highness?" Aie asked at seeing Irene sitting with the blank paper.
"I want to study again. What I lack right now is writing properly. I hope you can help, Aie," said the child who then dipped her pen in the ink and started copying down the writings in the book she had opened.
Aie held Irene’s hand. "Your Highness, the test has passed. I think you need more rest so you don’t get sick," she said, reminding Irene of the importance of maintaining health and not overworking herself to keep on studying.
"But... Aie... Please... only this ti, Aie..."
Aie tried to be firm and shook her head. She closed Irene’s book and invited the child to take a walk around the garden.

The next day arrived. The day when the nas of the chosen students had been announced. All the children who took the test would be sent a letter whether they passed the test or not. They sat down restlessly. anwhile, Arielle had been glancing at the clock on the walk, waiting for the notice to arrive.
From the start, Ronan told his wife to stay calm and not show a worriso expression so that Irene wouldn’t get restless either. Arielle had tried to calm herself, but it was so hard! She couldn’t wait any longer than this. She had to find a way to distract her focus.
Arielle was about to ask for permission to go elsewhere, but the door of the king’s study was knocked from the outside, making her stop in place. Ronan let the person in.
Outside, it turned out that there was Lucas who arrived with Irene. In Lucas’ hand was a silver tray on which was a scroll of parchnt with a red ribbon.
"Your Majesty, I bring a letter from the Edelweiss Academy," said Lucas, who politely let Irene enter first and then he followed behind her. Lucas approached the desk and put down the tray containing the parchnt. Ronan briskly took it.
Lucas asked permission to leave the room and bring back the silver tray with him. As he was about to go out, the door suddenly swung open and the figure of a man barged in without permission. Lucas almost fell backwards, luckily he was able to balance his body, so he didn’t fall.
"I heard the letter from the academy has arrived!" William shouted loudly.
"Oh, Lucas, sorry I didn’t see you. Are you okay?" asked William who just realized that he had bumped into soone.
Lucas nodded with a smile. "I’m fine, Lord Willian. Then, I’ll excuse myself," he said, then left Ronan’s room completely.
Ronan forbade William to co closer and told the man to close the door of his study first. Arielle, who was also curious about the results, approached her husband to take a peek at Irene’s admission test results.
William invited Irene to co closer to Ronan so they could see the letter together. Arielle was on Ronan’s right, while William and Irene were on the man’s left. Ronan only glanced at their enthusiasm. Then, he opened the red ribbon wrapped around the parchnt of the letter slowly, successfully making William get impatient.
"Could you do it faster!?" William scolded in a high-pitched tone. Ronan briskly turned towards the man while frowning deeply.
Realizing that he was raising his voice to a king, William stepped back and hid behind Irene’s back. Ronan opened the letter wide so that everyone beside him could read it clearly.
PASSED.
William and Arielle gasped. Both of them pressed their lips together in disbelief. They shouldn’t be surprised, but what was written on the letter still surprised them.
"Irene! Congratulations!" said Arielle who imdiately hugged Irene tightly. Ronan put the letter back nicely, and Irene read it once more to make sure she didn’t see it wrong. William did the sa, congratulating Irene on passing the test and giving the child a fleeting hug.
Suddenly, Ronan’s room door opened without permission. He already knew who it was because only Lazarus could go in and out of his room in that manner.
"I heard the announcent letter has arrived!" shouted Lazarus from the door.
Behind him followed Aie, who was panting hard after running after Lazarus who was very fast.
"How is it?" Aie asked as she pushed away Lazarus’ hand from the door, making the man stagger forward.
Aie rushed to get closer and asked again.
"How? How is the result?" she asked impatiently.
Ronan told Irene to answer it herself.
"I-I passed, Aie."
Aie cheered happily. The woman even dropped her body on the floor in relief. Lazarus also felt the sa way. The man quickly stretched out his arms to hug Irene and congratulated the child.
Then, he helped Aie stand up and Irene hugged Aie too because since the first day, the woman accompanied her a lot.
"Ah, I’m so relieved to hear that. Really... I can finally sleep peacefully," said Aie, making Arielle laugh.
Arielle saw for herself how dedicated Aie was in helping Irene study. Since Irene was learning how to spell, recognize letters and numbers, Aie had taught the child with great dedication. Aie did have aspirations to beco a teacher, and Arielle could see the true figure of a teacher in the woman when she taught Irene.
Aie’s patience and tenacity finally bore fruit. Arielle should not forget to thank Mr. Ferguson, who was very kind and patient to teach Irene many lessons taught in the academy. The old man ca every day to teach Irene from morning to evening.
