"Studying... I... must... study..."
Irene rubbed her eyes and looked for a pen and paper to study again. The child hadn’t fully woken up yet, but it seed her subconscious kept forcing her to study without resting. Ronan tried to wake up his sister, but he was stopped by Arielle.
Arielle held Irene’s shoulders.
"That’s enough for today," she said more firmly.
Irene forced herself to open her eyes. "Oh, Arielle? But... eungh..." She was unable to speak clearly because she was already very sleepy.
If Irene forced herself, the girl would only get sick later on, so Arielle snatched the pen and paper that Irene already held.
"No. I forbid you to study. You better sleep well tonight so that tomorrow you can wake up with a fresh body and mind and start studying again. That way, you will be able to absorb the lessons more easily."
"Arielle is right. Tonight is enough. You can already recognize so letters and will know more soon if you study in a good condition," continued Ronan who no longer wanted to force his younger sister to study.
Irene couldn’t answer. She just nodded her head.
"Then... I will return to my room..."
Arielle received the coat that Irene returned to her. The child got up, but because she wasn’t fully awake, her legs couldn’t hold her weight, so she almost swayed and fell on the floor if Ronan and Arielle didn’t hold her together.
"Huh... you can’t go back like this. Let take you."
Ronan crouched in front of Irene, and the girl climbed onto his back. He pigged back his sister so easily. He also held the child’s legs so she wouldn’t fall. Arielle helped by putting Ronan’s coat behind Irene’s back so the girl wouldn’t get cold. She also hurried to put her coat back on, as she was wearing a thin nightgown tonight. She didn’t want anyone to see her like this.
After leaving the Blackthorn Palace while passing through the snowy grounds, they ca across Kael who had already done his night patrol and was about to head back to his room to rest. Arielle didn’t forget to express her gratitude for Kael’s hard work in taking good care of them. The man then bowed politely.
After that, Arielle followed her husband who was already walking towards the Whitethorn Palace with Irene on his back. They both arrived at Irene’s room. The child looked very sleepy because when Ronan put her on the bed, she left a trail of drool on his shoulder.
Arielle almost laughed at the disgusted expression Ronan put on. It reminded her of the man’s expression as Baby Crimson drooled on his shoulder. She adjusted the position of Irene’s hair, legs, and hands so that the young girl could sleep comfortably. She also put the child’s shoes on the edge of the bed and draped the blanket on.
Ronan lit the flas in the fireplace so it could warm the room slowly. He also put in so wood, hoping it would last until tomorrow morning.
After everything was done, Arielle waited for Ronan and the two of them returned to their own room.

Irene proved her words. She didn’t waste her ti and studied harder. It reminded Ronan of when Arielle used to study with him to beco a queen. Irene studied with Ronan again so she could read and write as soon as possible.
Even though they still did it slowly, studying from morning to night without stopping certainly made everything go smoothly. Actually, compared to Arielle, Irene’s progress was quite slow because the child had never seen numbers or letters before. anwhile, Arielle already understood so because she lived in a settlent where writing was everywhere.
When Ronan had to attend a eting, William helped Irene learn to spell so words because Aie had to prepare so study materials that were suitable with the princess’ abilities.
Since the beginning, Aie always wanted to be a teacher. Even before working in the palace as an assistant to the princess, Aie wanted to open a school and teach a lot of children. However, because of her parents’ insistence on her getting married, she ran away several tis and didn’t have ti to plan it.
Aie ca back and worked at the palace to collect money so she could open her own school later. Thus, this was her chance to prove that she was suitable to work as a teacher.
anwhile, Arielle was preoccupied with her duties as a queen. She had to et so aristocrats even though it wasn’t on urgent or important matters, but she learned many things there.
Although they just sat and talked about this and that while drinking tea, Arielle learned a lot about several companies and types of businesses that were not registered in the royal treasury. She also knew so of the nas of children who were outstanding in their field. There was a possibility that so people would join the cathedral due to the flow of mana being opened.
Apart from that, Arielle also learned how to manage the cathedrals’ affairs. She checked several inventories as well as financial reports to give to Ronan every month. Arielle couldn’t imdiately beco an expert. So from that she started everything slowly and learned bit by bit.
And after becoming a queen like this, Arielle would always co and pray at the cathedral every morning and evening. She sat in the front seat, and every ti the blessing ceremony was over, she would listen to so stories from the citizens who took ti to visit. Only in the cathedral could they et the queen in person.
If they wanted to et the king, they had to wait once a month. However, they had the opportunity to see the queen every day so they could complain about the things that weighed down their minds without waiting another month.
Arielle also didn’t forget the obligations that she had to do every day, naly taking care of Abigail’s three eggs. It could take hours. Arielle always visited the room after doing the evening blessing.
