Blood. I could see blood coming out of my body. I hadn’t even had ti to feel the pain I was feeling. My eyes were blurry, but I could still hear Amadea’s voice echoing in my head.

(Amadea)

The vines began to cover my body completely. The last thing I saw was Amadea tearing apart the body of one of the Northendell troops.

The darkness that enveloped slowly disappeared. The vines began to co off one by one. I arrived at my temple. The snowdrops that I saw began to be stained by the blood coming out of my wounds, which were strangely difficult to heal. Was it because there were two arrows stuck in my chest?

I walked with a limp step. The elixir of immortality given by Hylios had been handed over to Amadea. I rested near the statue, leaning to gather the rest of my strength. No, I couldn’t die here. I held my stomach with trembling hands.

At least I wanted to see our little snowdrop before I died. Amadea also said the sa thing every day. Amadea and I had to see the form of our love.

It hurt... It hurt so much. After the adrenaline in my body started to go down, I could begin to feel how painful the wounds were. All creatures in Birwick must have left Birwick, and the rest were fighting out there to protect our place.

Why did it have to be like this? Why didn’t King Theodore let go? He had had two other won. Why couldn’t I go? Was it because I am also his wife?

At a ti like this, I started to question everything again. Was my decision correct? Or was everything I did all in vain?

I shook my head, trying to erase the negative emotion I was feeling. How could I be so desperate when I admitted that living in Birwick with Amadea was the right decision?

I tried to release the arrows stuck on my back, but every ti I moved, my arm hurt so much.

"Little Snowdrop, please give you Mother strength. Your mother and father still want to see you. We will definitely et. We love you."

Tears trickled down my pale cheeks at such a desperate mont. I still didn’t want to die. And when everything was almost dark, I could feel Amadea’s presence very close. The scent of his approaching body quickly mixed in with the foul sll of blood.

"Cecilia, Cecilia, Cecilia. wake up.... Stay with . I carry the elixir of immortality. Don’t give up, please."

"Amadea... sob... I... still want to et our little snowdrop..."

I opened my eyes and saw a wound on Amadea’s neck that was starting to get swollen and rotting. The man got hurt by King Theodore’s sword. On his back, there were several broken arrows. His mouth was also full of blood. I held his hand, stopping him so as not to imdiately pour all the elixir of immortality onto my body. Amadea needed it more.

"You need it more, Amadea."

"What are you saying at tis like this?! You need it more! See, you don’t even have the strength to heal your own wounds!"

"Sob, but... but you’re also seriously injured!"

"Shut up and fuck-!"

Amadea closed the small bottle of the elixir then put it away again. After that, he lifted my body. It seed King Theodore’s army had caught up quickly. I saw two dragons flying in the sky and spitting flas.

"No one is allowed to touch my wife’s temple!"

Amadea growled furiously. Then, he swung his hand and sent two bursts of flas, making the two dragons fall to the ground. Amadea closed his eyes for a mont and suddenly four mountain trolls appeared, which turned out to be asleep under the mound of the hill. The four of them then circled around the field of snowdrops and waved their maces, throwing dozens of Northendell troops off their horses.

My vision got blurred, but I could still see that Amadea took in his arms while running fast. He protected from the attacks of nurous arrows and other dragons’ flas. Was this all because of ra’s wish? Even though all this ti I had considered him one of my friends, why did he do this? Was the status of being the Guardian of Birwick Mountain and the incarnation of the Sun God far more important than the safety of Birwick Mountain itself?

Amadea kept running while carrying , who was heavily pregnant. However, his steps stopped when an arrow hit his calf. Yet, Amadea tried not to fall over.

"Amadea, use the elixir for yourself!" I shouted.

"Shut up! You have lost a lot of blood! Our little snowdrop’s safety is more important!"

"But, I also don’t want our snowdrop to see the world without you!!!" I shouted louder.

Amadea stopped for a mont. He put on the ground. I looked around and found no Northendell troops following us.

"Amadea?"

"Leave Birwick."

"Huh?"

"I will always be with you. I ask you to leave Birwick now."

"But..."

Amadea hugged gently. I scread in pain as he forcibly pulled out the two arrows stuck in my back. I had not had ti to process everything when the pain in my back slowly disappeared. Amadea had used up the last remaining elixir that Hylios gave .

"Amadea ... what are you doing?"

"Cecillia, listen to . I will stay here to protect your temple. I am the Guardian of Birwick Mountain appointed by the Sun God to protect this mountain. This mountain is the place chosen by the Moon Goddess, and the Sun God has appointed to protect his sister’s place. And your temple is a place where humans blessed by the Moon Goddess unite with that entity. And if your temple collapses, then it ans have failed to beco the guardian of this mountain."

"But, Amadea...."

Amadea cupped my face and smiled gently. I tried to find a dagger to injure my hand. I wanted to quickly heal his wounds as well. However, I couldn’t find the dagger that I often carried. Then, I rembered that I used it to hurt King Theodore earlier.

I tried to bite my own hand, but Amadea imdiately held it.

"I know what you want to do, but there’s no need, Cecilia. I’m much stronger than you think."

I groaned. I knew he was strong, but if soone attacked him with the snowdrop, then he would still get hurt. I kept trying to hurt my hand to make it bleed, but Amadea held my hand tighter this ti.

"I need you, Amadea. Our little Snowdrop needs you too. I won’t go if you don’t go with !"

"Fine, if that’s what you want."

Amadea put his hand on his chest. I scread in surprise as he stuck out his sharp claws and stabbed his own heart. Sothing shining like a small sun ca out.

"Take my heart with you. I will always be with you and our little snowdrop. I will not leave you."

"Amadea..."

Two won appeared. They held my hand and tried to drag away. No, I didn’t want to separate from Amadea. Only Amadea was my ho. I wouldn’t leave without my husband!

I kept struggling and forgot the fact that I was pregnant. The two won’s grip tightened. I was silent for a mont when I saw Amadea shed tears for the first ti.

"Cecillia, don’t be afraid because I will always love you and our little snowdrop."

Everything happened so fast. The last thing I saw was flas burning everywhere. They burned whatever was in there. Even the two won who looked after were burned too. I tried to turn around to look for Amadea again, but a very high wall of flas blocked . The flas around didn’t burn at all except for the wall of flas that prevented from eting Amadea.

I turned to leave Birwick Mountain while hugging Amadea’s last light.

I looked back and saw the sky getting darker.

Snow? I wasn’t sure what had happened, but every trail I left snowed. Flas and snow. It was a very odd blend. I kept walking forward while hugging our little snowdrop. I didn’t know where I walked, but I didn’t feel tired or hungry at all.

There was only one thing I needed, naly to embrace the warmth of the last thing Amadea gave to . As the man said, the light had the sa warmth as him. Every ti I slept while hugging it, it felt like there were two warm hands hugging back.

"Amadea, our little snowdrop and I will always love you."
