Ronan looked at Arielle’s hand. He always believed that his wife was a special woman, even if Arielle still tried hard to deny the fact. Ronan certainly felt proud of that, but he was sad that he couldn’t be by the girl’s side to support Arielle when she was tired from training.

"Was your training under that dragon exhausted? He didn’t push you too hard, did he? I don’t see any wounds. What makes training under Otis and the dragon any different?" asked Ronan curiously.

"Of course it’s different because flas are basically the speciality of the dragons. Whereas, Lord Otis and I have the abilities to release flas, but we need to practise before mastering our power. Lord Otis also learned to master his powers from the dragons. That’s why I wanted to do the sa."

Arielle averted her eyes, trying to cover up the fact that she had been in a lot of tornt under Maxieno’s training. Peeled skin or blisters from burns were sothing she always got. Luckily, they had the elixir that Maxieno got from the unicorn clan, so every ti she finished the training, the man would drip it every ti Arielle was injured and all her wounds would completely heal without leaving any traces.

Ronan realized his wife suddenly turned her face to the other side. He gave the girl a suspicious look.

"The dragon touched you?" he asked in a growling voice.

"Huh? No! Of course not at all! Maxieno really hates humans! Maybe in his eyes, I’m nothing more than a dust that doesn’t affect his life at all."

"Then, why did you avert your eyes when you told about the dragon?" Ronan asked.

"Nothing. There’s really nothing. Really! I’m just thinking about sothing else. Alright, I’ll continue my story now," Arielle replied, then changed the topic so Ronan wouldn’t ask more about it, and she didn’t have to answer about Maxieno.

Arielle didn’t want Ronan and Maxieno’s relationship to get worse even though from the start their relationship was like a mortal enemy. Besides, in the future, Arielle would often et Maxieno to take care of Abigail’s eggs, so she didn’t want the two of them to have any tense feelings.

Arielle continued her story of where she had to find the red snowdrop flower that had been kept and protected by the werewolf clan. Arielle had said before that the flower was the key to lift the curse on Ronan’s body.

Then, Arielle told her husband about how she fought with Darui. She also talked about the child she had accidentally t. The little girl was a prisoner of the werewolf clan who was once kidnapped by Darui, so the man could see the future of the werewolf clan.

"What’s the prophecy about?" asked Ronan curiously.

"Eum... about the werewolf clan going back to its forr glory when the alpha, the leader of the werewolf clan ets his mate who is from one of King Theodore’s descendants."

Ronan frowned. "Who?"

"I’ll explain in more detail. This is still related to the girl I told you about."

Ronan nodded. He could wait patiently. Then, Arielle continued talking about how the boy from the unicorn clan helped her by giving her information about the location of the flowers they considered sacred. With the help of Maxieno, Arielle finally managed to get Darui’s hand and fool the two blind mountain trolls.

Arielle and Maxieno managed to get the flower and save the boy from the unicorn clan. She also saved the girl who had beco a slave in the werewolf clan for all her life.

Arielle had not finished her story, but Ronan already got up. His heart was beating very fast while looking at his wife.

"Are you here.... That ans... I..."

Ronan panicked. He saw his hands were still in human form. Arielle lifted her body for a mont then smiled faintly.

"Yes, I was told by the doctor who treated you earlier. You didn’t transform into a wolf," she said, making Ronan stand up.

The man closed his eyes and then clenched his fists. His hands instantly turned into a pair of animal hands with thick black fur. He could still transform into a wolf! Did he really not change under the full moon? Ronan had no recollection of what had happened. All he rembered was that his body was on fire and his neck was chained by the iron flas.

"How could that be? What have you done?" Ronan asked. He was still confused by the situation.

Arielle patted the bed beside her so Ronan could sit down again. The man was still in panic, and she wanted to calm him down first.

"Co here. Calm down, Ronan. I’ll explain it."

Ronan walked over and crouched down in front of Arielle.

"At first, I thought I almost failed because the flower I took had withered before the full moon night. However, Maxieno kept pushing forward, so I was forced to et the souls of Princess Cecil and Amadea who were left on earth. It turned out that all this ti, the red snowdrop flower they wanted was not a real flower, but a human. Snowdrop is the na of Amadea’s child in Princess Cecil’s womb. And I... am one of the snowdrops needed so that the souls of Princess Cecil and Amadea could rest in peace."

Ronan was silent... So was Arielle. She was waiting for her husband’s response. Ronan tried to combine all the clues and the things Arielle had told him.

"I... don’t know what to say," he said.

Arielle took Ronan’s hand and explained it slowly. Starting from the reason she and Ronan could beco a mate, and why Ronan could still transform into a wolf, even though Amadea’s curse was already lifted from his body.

"The curse was actually an agreent between King Theodore and Amadea. Amadea gave so of his power, so King Theodore’s descendants could transform into werewolves on the condition that they had to bring back the snowdrops, the children or descendants of Princess Cecil. The agreent was made without the consent of King Theodore. Thus, every full moon night, which was the night Amadea cursed the descendants of King Theodore, the descendants of King Theodore had to bear the consequences of his power, naly losing his human mind."
