Arielle touched Irene’s arm, which was hiding behind her body. "I’m here to protect my family," she said, making Darui clench his fists tightly.

"Do you think I’m stupid? You planned this with Maxieno, right? That rancid flas brat had prepared all this, right? There’s no way that lecherous dragon would allow another creature to return so easily after crossing his territory."

"I’m telling the truth," Arielle replied as she turned her gaze to Darui’s knees.

Darui wanted to touch the dragon egg, but Arielle wrapped it up again with the cloth.

"I’ll give it to you if you let Arthur and Irene go first."

"Oh, of course I’ll let them go. They are also useless to ," said Darui. He whistled, then asked his guard to release the chains on Irene’s wrists and legs.

"If they are useless, why do you keep them and not let them return to our kingdom?"

"Arthur didn’t tell you?"

Arielle turned to look at Irene’s hands, which had red blisters from being chained for too long. She held Irene’s hand gently. Darui watched their every move carefully.

"They were my biggest mistake. If possible, I planned to get rid of them, but it turned out that the father was quite useful just because I gave him so push."

Arielle knew what Darui ant. His wish to have a dragon egg would be fulfilled. However, Darui didn’t know that the dragon egg could never be hatched by force or the heat of ordinary flas. So even if Maxieno gave him a hundred thousand eggs, the chances for Darui to be able to use them were zero.

"I got a prophecy from the unicorn clan who can read the future. They said the werewolf clan will rule Birwick again if the Alpha can find his mate who is still a bloodline to King Theodore. I will always watch Northendell until a daughter is born."

"I believe she will beco my mate."

Arielle wanted to turn a deaf ear. Darui.... It was improper for him to say such a thing. He was already an old man! Much older than anyone. He shouldn’t think of a newborn baby as his mate. Even now, maybe Irene was still thirteen years old!

"But, why did you treat her like this?"

"She’s not my mate. There must be another descendant of Theodore who will surely beco my mate. I had marked her many tis, but what I felt for her was not a mate bond like I felt on my first mate."

Arielle was shocked. "Y-you marked her?" she asked, feeling so shocked to hear Darui’s words.

"Oh, don’t get wrong. I didn’t touch her, I just gave a mark on her shoulder."

Arielle turned around and pulled Irene’s clothes. Three. Three bite marks that had turned blue. Darui had bitten Irene three tis. Arielle’s hands shook violently. She couldn’t carry out the plan she had made with Maxieno.

"I-it hurts..." Irene muttered weakly. She was in pain because Arielle gripped her very hard.

It wasn’t just that. There were also claw marks on Irene’s back and arms. Darui had marked her by force.

Arielle stood up, facing Darui who was looking at her with a disinterested look.

"You already had a mate and forced this child and even bit her three tis?"

"I didn’t touch her. I haven’t even kissed-"

"Stop!" Arielle’s shout echoed throughout the werewolf territory. Several birds flew away because of her voice.

"I won’t forgive you. I hope you will continue to burn in the deepest hell," Arielle said. Her blue eyes flash with rage. Her fists clenched until the hottest flas she released made Darui’s eyes open wide.

"it’s looked like... Amadea.... It’s the flas of the Sun God?"

That place was imdiately filled with wolves prying on Arielle. Darui smiled crookedly while looking at Arielle who was standing straight, facing him bravely.

"I don’t like humans who feel they are higher than . You guys are just weak creatures that I can easily break their necks with," Darui said, mocking Arielle.

Irene held Arielle’s pants, asking her not to anger Darui further. She had seen how cruel Darui could be when the man was angry. She didn’t want Arielle to get hurt because of it.

Arielle held Irene’s head and gave the girl a faint smile. "Don’t worry. I’m here to help you," she said, making Irene let go of her leg. Irene looked at Arielle with sparkling eyes.

Seeing Arielle’s back was like seeing a new hope for her. The princess arrived to help her? Why? When Irene was glued to Arielle’s back, the princess’s body was suddenly covered in blue flas. Irene closed her eyes. The flas were really hot.

Darui walked closer to Arielle. He could feel the flas from the girl’s body was different from others. Arielle released the sa flas that Amadea used to burn the Birwick forest.

"Put down that dragon egg and get out of here. I don’t need a human like you," Darui said.

"No, not until you show where the blood snowdrop flower is."

Darui burst out laughing while holding his stomach. The wolves surrounding Arielle had co closer. They were ready to pounce on Arielle and Irene, waiting for Darui’s orders.

"Ah, so that’s what you ca here for," Darui said, clapping his hands while walking towards Arielle.

"I planned to do it peacefully, but when I found out what you had done to my sister, I couldn’t stay still. You are a grown man and already have a mate. Don’t you love your mate? Moreover, you almost sexually assaulted a child? If my husband hears this, I’m sure he will bury you deep underground."

Darui was still laughing. He wasn’t afraid of Arielle’s threat at all. He thought Arielle was just talking nonsense. Amadea had proven that the werewolf clan could do anything. Amadea was able to defeat the dragons and beca the guardian of Mount Biriwck appointed by the Sun God. No one could touch them.
