He grabbed Arielle’s chin to look at him. Ariel shook her head and abruptly closed her eyes, not wanting Ronan to see the change in her eyes. The man kissed her eyelids, then went down to kiss her lips.

Arielle tried to break free, but Ronan’s embrace was exceedingly tight.

"Ronan!"

Hearing her loud protest made the man stop. Arielle imdiately looked away when she t his gaze.

"You have not answered my question. What Are you afraid of?"

Arielle shook her head slowly and hugged her own knees. Ronan was still leaning back in the bathtub, ignoring his wet clothes. His hand wrapped around Arielle’s hips as his eyes scrutinized her small and frail back.

"If what you’re afraid of is that I no longer love you because the color of your irises has changed, then you’re wrong," said Ronan firmly.

The man’s words managed to make Arielle twist her neck to look back at him.

"Finally, you look at again. Co here. I miss you."

"Ronan..." Arielle whispered his na in a trembling voice. Ronan put on a subtle smile as the girl looked like she was about to cry. Her blue eyes filled with tears.

Arielle hugged Ronan tightly, making the man laugh. The water in the bathtub rippled, and so spilled. He used his long legs to turn on the faucet again, which emitted hot steam at the end of the bathtub.

Both of his hands hugged Arielle’s small back tightly. The girl also wrapped her arms around his neck. Ronan had heard everything.

When he returned to pick up Lazarus earlier, Ronan t Priest Elis and Priest Khan, who were waiting for him in front of his room. They had told Arielle what had happened, and the girl turned their plea down.

Ronan was not too surprised. Maybe the fact that Arielle was the daughter of the Moon Goddess was quite a shock because he thought that the Moon Goddess’ children were a myth from books. Whereas, about Arielle’s unusual power, Ronan had guessed it since he found the fainted Arielle on the ground with the ice around her lting.

It was proven that there was a mana stream in the little girl that Arielle had saved, but the mana stream had not been opened yet, so it was clear that it was not that child who did it.

At the sa ti, Priest Elis had always tried to analyze Arielle’s mana stream, but he couldn’t find anything strange about it. And this afternoon, when the two great powers unite, the mana of Priest Khan and Priest Elis ignited Arielle’s mana, and her body reacted to it.

"I’m afraid that you won’t recognize anymore," Arielle mumbled between her tears.

Ronan chuckled and kissed Arielle’s shoulder. The girl did not realize that she was hugging a man without a single thread on her body. However, Ronan didn’t protest at all. He liked it, but it made him lose focus when he felt the girl’s breasts pressed against his chest.

"What makes not recognize you? You are my Arielle, and there’s no way I don’t know you."

Arielle stretched her arms and looked at Ronan with her unaccustod eyes.

"But the color of my eyes had changed. It’s not black anymore."

"So? Where is the problem?" asked Ronan, who noticed Arielle’s azure eyes now looking straight at him.

Obviously, it was no ordinary blue color. Andrea or Alexis had blue eyes too, but theirs were not as beautiful as Arielle’s. These eyes of hers gave him a sense of peacefulness. Ronan cupped her face and kissed her eyes quite long.

Arielle sat cross-legged while facing Ronan. She looked down dejectedly.

"I am not the child of the Moon Goddess, Ronan. I also don’t have any power. I don’t need these blue eyes. It feels like I am not the real . I... want my black eyes back. I just want to be your wife. I can’t do it. I don’t want to disappoint everyone with their expectations. What if after this they hold hope for and I can’t fulfill their expectations? What if they hate later? What if you’re disappointed too-"

"Shh!" Ronan put his index finger in front of Arielle’s lips to stop the girl’s negative thoughts. "Enough of that. Now, it’s my turn."

"Arielle, I don’t love you because of the color of your eyes. I don’t love you because of your hair color, though I will tell you a thousand tis that your hair color is so beautiful. I don’t love you because of your body. I don’t love your powers or whatever it is. The one I love is a woman nad Arielle. My Arielle comprises her gentle nature, her struggle to learn, and her way of loving ," he said.

"So, I don’t care if you are an unregarded princess or a descendant of the Moon Goddess. I love the way you treat . I’m addicted to your way of treating and I want to feel that all the ti. So, this has nothing to do with your color or your physical form, Arielle. You’re beautiful, no matter what color your eyes are, no matter what color your skin or hair color is.

"My love isn’t always physical. It’s about you and your personality. If I loved soone physically, I’d probably be looking for soone with big breasts."

"Ronan..."

Ronan laughed at seeing Arielle’s irritated face. The man pulled Arielle’s body to lean on him again.

"Nope, I’m kidding. Your breast size is already perfect in my hands," he said while cupping one of Arielle’s breasts, making the girl slap his hand off.

Ronan laughed and hugged the girl more tightly.

"I know you must be tired from taking care of Crimson yesterday. How about we spend a little ti alone together? Forget what happened today and pamper as you promised."

"Pampering you? What do you want to do now?"

"I have all kinds of fun in my head, but today it just doesn’t feel right. We can do sothing more fun and forget about the problem."

Ronan stood, lifting Arielle with him. He carried her out of the bathtub and Arielle’s body shivered from being separated from the warm water. Ronan helped her dry herself and put on so warm clothes.

"Wait for a mont. Don’t go anywhere."

The man left Arielle’s room with a wet body and clothes. He paid no heed to her nagging to put his coat on as if he was being chased by a dog.
