Madeline's POV
"I will leave you with Rebecca, Madeline, so you can talk with her, and you don't need to worry because she is harmless and please, don't be scared if she suddenly raises her voice and will beco hysterical." Mindy said the mont we arrived at Rebecca's room.
"Rebecca, are you awake?" Mindy asked after we get inside her room, but she didn't answer.
"Rebecca, please answer ." Mindy called out again.
"You have a visitor, you know, and if you are not going to co out here in the living room, we are going to go near your bed." Mindy added as we looked at her bed, and I can tell she is sleeping.
"I think she is still sleeping, Mindy, but don't worry I can stay here and wait for Rebecca to get up from her bed." I declared.
"No, it is better that I will accompany you, Madeline, and I realized maybe in your next visit you can be alone with her, but not today." Mindy replied, and I nodded, and as I wait for Rebecca to wake up, and I can't stop myself from feeling so anxious.
"I don't want to see anyone today except Hunter." Rebecca unexpectedly talked, and I suddenly feel the fang on my chest as I hear my husband's na.
"Well, Madeline wanted to see you." Mindy replied, and Rebecca got up from the bed quickly, and she combed her hair using her fingers, and she folded her blanket neatly and put it on top of her bed, and she wears her slippers, then, she walked towards us, and then her face lit up the mont she saw .
"You ca back?" She asked, and I can tell she has a normal mind. Maybe because of Clark's Divenson, her sanity was affected because he imprisoned Rebecca in this dical care ho instead of allowing her to get out from this place, and I realized he couldn't enable Rebecca to roam around the city because of the big possibility that my husband would see her.
"You rember ?" I asked, and I try to control myself since I can feel my hands are trembling once again, and she smiled sweetly at . I realized she looked so adorable and beautiful, and there is no doubt why my husband fell in love with her, but she looked so thin. Maybe she doesn't eat her food on ti, and that is why Rebecca looked so skinny, and I realized she only needs to eat more so she will regain her old self like the Rebecca I saw in the pictures.
"Of course, you ca last week, and I wished for you to co back, and I was waiting for you the entire week." She declared while she looked at intently, and I was shocked that she rembered .
"I am sorry, I got so busy lately with my studies, and that is why I just ca back today." I replied to her, and Rebecca smiled at , and she sat beside .
"Oh, are you studying what?" She asked.
"Madeline is planning to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor soday; that is why she studied Doctor of dicine." Mindy answered for , and I almost forgot that I need to pretend I am a nurse in front of Rebecca.
"Wow! Can you be my doctor, Madeline?" She asked, and I hate that I need to lie with her.
"I am still studying, Rebecca. Maybe soday I can, but I still need to specialize if I want to beco a psychiatrist." I replied.
"Are you not police, Maddie?" She asked, and I beca confused with her question, but I know I should have answered her politely, and avoid offending her.
"No, I am not, Rebecca." I replied.
"Why do you ask?" I asked Rebecca, and her face was saddened.
"Well, I want to report a case, Clark Divenson held prisoner in this place, and he was talking that I am out of my mind, maybe I forgot so details about my life, and I don't rember how many years I have been here. Still, I know that he took my son away from , and he also poisoned Hunter's mind." She said.
"Because Hunter stopped seeing , but I am not sure if it was because I beca ugly, because I now have scars on my face and even on my legs." She declared as she showed her scars, and her tears are starting to fall on her lovely face, and I never think about her physical defects when I looked at her beautiful face.
"You are not ugly, Rebecca. You looked like an angel, and you are so beautiful." I replied.
"You think. Madeline?" She asked , and I nodded.
"Who is Hunter, again?" I pretended to ask her.
"He is my husband, Maddie, and he is tall, handso, and slls so good, and it is funny that I can't rember our wedding day. And the doctors said maybe there is so part of my mories that were gone after the accident that happened to ." She said, and I don't know what I feel at the mont.
"But you know, Madeline, I rember my beautiful gown during our wedding; it was a light blue Cinderella-inspired dress." She declared, and I can't stop myself from having goosebumps all over my skin because the dress that she was talking about was the gown she wore on the night before her supposed wedding day. Still, it didn't happen because of the accident, the sa dress I wore during the Pre-Wedding Ball organized by Leticia.
"Wow! Why you didn't wear a white dress during your wedding, Rebecca?" I asked.
"I don't know, and that is what makes so confused, and I can't rember myself walking down the aisle, and all I can think is Hunter's face." She said.
"Madeline, I miss Hunter so much, and I hope he will co and get soon." She said, and I felt so guilty that no one told her about what happened to her child.
"Please! Madeline, bring back, my husband!! Please, have rcy on !" She shouted, and she beca hysterical at this ti, and Rebecca continues to cry, then, she walked near the bed, and I thought at first, she will sit on her bed, but instead, she went to the far end corner of her room, and she sat down and put her head on her knees as she continued to sob. Mindy walked towards her, and before she ca to her, Rebecca shouted and she asked Mindy to leave her alone.
"You need to get out, Mindy, you didn't bring Hunter to , and you promised so many tis, all of you are liars, no one is telling the truth, and I know even you, Madeline, you are my new nurse but I know you will not also help find my husband and child. And I am sure Clark Divenson pay you a good amount of money that is why you imprison here. You won't allow to get out from this stupid place where all I want is see Hunter, and my son." Rebecca said.
"Please, leave!!! All of you, get out, and don't ever co back unless you bring Hunter Divenson to , he is the man I love and adore, and I know he loves too, but he was afraid of his father." She continued. She stood up from the floor, and faced the bed.
"Son, shihhhh!! Mindy, please keep quiet my son is sleeping." She said, and my heart sank when I realized she is far from okay. I thought she has an excellent health, and I realized all the bad things she experienced at the Divenson mansion made her mad. Rebecca beca crazy because of what Clark had done to her. And I wonder why Hunter's father didn't tell her about what happened to her child.
He could have tell Rebecca everything so she will not beco like this.
"Mindy, you must leave now, you better co back next ti. My boy is sleeping, and I don't want anyone to disturb him on his sleep. And Hunter will co at any mont." She said softly.
"Mindy, please go out quietly, okay?" She said and smiled at us. And Mindy motioned to follow her outside.
"I think Rebecca didn't take her dicine again, she started to feel better, I should have known. I will tell the nurse to monitor her dicines, she is so wise she will drink the dicine with water, but she will spit it out on the comfort room." Mindy said.
"So, Rebecca is ntally ill? Am I correct?" I asked and she nodded.
"Can you tell honestly, Mindy, did she arrive here in that condition?" I asked, and she shook her head.
"Worst, we secure her legs and hands because she was violent, and years of dications she started to live normal, and I am afraid she will go back to her old self where she doesn't even know who she was. Her recollections returned when Clark Divenson started visiting her, how much more if your husband will visit her, I guess her illness will be gone right away. Even though I can tell her mories with Clark Divenson were not good, still, he was able to help her recover. And I think your husband can help her cope up with her ntal illness sooner, and there is a big chance she will fully recover.." Mindy said, and I realized, Rebecca will recover from her illness if I will tell Hunter all about her, and I am going to prepare for my own heartaches and anguish, and I hope I will be strong enough to keep my sanity intact, because everything is uncertain, I don't know what would be Hunter's decision once he finds out about her.
