Chapter 1205: Chapter 15: Alice in Wonderland

This is a superhero comic published by the Federation, titled “Superman: Red Son.”

It’s unclear how long it’s been left here; most of the colored pages in the middle have been lost, leaving only the beginning and ending pages with plot.

The general storyline is about a baby from Krypton sent by a spaceship to the Soviet Union, adopted by a Ukrainian couple, and growing up to beco a superhero of the Red Camp, creating a Utopia single-handedly and opposing the Federation Governnt President Luther.

Forgot the beginning, forgot the middle, forgot the end.

Anyway, the final story concludes with Luther making Superman realize that humanity doesn’t need alien rule, and Superman leaves. The entire Earth’s populace lives happily ever after under President Luther’s rule for two thousand years of peace, ultimately proving that humanity indeed doesn’t need Superman.

The biggest fun in this story is concentrated in this final line—”happily living through two thousand years of peace.”

To prove that 1 1 doesn’t equal 2, we therefore set 1 1=3, thus proving that 1 1 really doesn’t equal 2.

In this place without day or night, where ti can’t be felt, and the spatial environnt is utterly chaotic, Wang Yunxiao finds no other ways to pass the ti.

All he has is this comic book, too hard even for wiping, seeming to be the only written and pictorial information preserved in this world.

Of course, this doesn’t an the world is truly void and dead.

Occasionally Wang Yunxiao sees so shadow-like creatures darting between the streets and buildings.

But these shadows can’t communicate; they completely ignore Wang Yunxiao’s existence, simply coming and going as they please.

Not sure how long has passed, maybe several days, perhaps just a few minutes.

Always tense, Wang Yunxiao, having encountered no other dangers, finds a place to rest briefly.

Eyes closed, eyes open.

Bright sunlight.

Wang Yunxiao looks blankly at the intact comic book in his hand, then at the room filled with two-dinsional posters, figures, gaming consoles…

Huh???

Where have I ended up?

“Anchor failed!”

A long-absent voice suddenly rings in his ear.

Wang Yunxiao throws the comic book aside, stands up, and pushes the door open to step outside.

A middle-aged couple sits on the couch in the living room, turning to look at him in shock.

“I…”

“Look at the ti, you’re just getting up!”

The middle-aged woman suddenly speaks up, “Yuanxiao, even if it’s a holiday, you can’t just stay ho playing gas all day! Are you hungry? I’ll make you sothing to eat!”

Wang Yunxiao: “???”

Traveled again?

Why did I say again?

Eh? What traveling, isn’t this my house? Stayed up all night gaming, got muddled?

Countless familiar yet strange mories suddenly flood his brain, making it impossible to distinguish reality from illusion for a mont.

“I’m not hungry.”

“Are you thinking of ordering takeout again? Let tell you, that takeout has nothing good, it’s all tricks for kids…”

Eventually, Wang Yunxiao can’t refuse his mother’s request, sits down and obediently has a homade al.

Really just a ho-cooked al: stir-fried potato slices with green peppers, braised ribs, leftover sauteed garlic scapes from yesterday, and rice.

While eating, his father puts down the newspaper and says, I’m going out for a walk, before putting on a hat and stepping out.

Probably going to watch others play chess and swing by the market.

His mother is also eager to play mahjong with her old friends, cleans up the kitchen, and hurriedly leaves.

Wang Yunxiao finishes eating, tidies up the tableware, and glances out the window at the outside scene.

An endless expanse of city constructions, thick with smoke, traffic bustling.

No different from the mories of the past life.

He suddenly recalls that a childhood friend seems to live next door.

Also seems they had plans to go out today.

Plans made long ago, but not because he ghosted; rather, the girl had poor health and had been resting at ho.

Yes, congenital heart disease, frail and delicate.

Stepping out of his house, he goes next door and presses the doorbell.

Soon, the door opens from the inside, revealing a timid small head.

“Brother Yuanxiao?”

“Tangtang.”

It’s Jiang Xiaotang, without scars on her face, but much frailer, hair in a bob, and shrinks her neck like an adorable hamster.

“Let’s go, out to play.”

“Okay!”

The girl smiles slightly, showing two shallow dimples on her face.

Holding the girl’s soft little hand and walking down the street, listening to the noise and clamor around, Wang Yunxiao can’t help but show a touch of sentint.

How did that sentence go again?

It’s like dead mories attacking .

Youths going out on dates, nothing but the sa old routine.

Find a milk tea shop, see if there’s any seasonal special drink.

Take a cab to a big mall, browse the familiar shops.

Open the phone, find a newly opened restaurant, and try out the taste.

As long as feelings are in place, anywhere’s the sa, it’s about who you’re with.

Jiang Xiaotang hums a song happily, bouncing involuntarily, but clutches her chest after a few steps, an abnormal flush appearing on her pale face, and quickly calms down.

Wang Yunxiao doesn’t say anything, just walks forward silently.

Even when Jiang Xiaotang teases him with dandelions, he remains expressionless.

“Brother Yuanxiao, why aren’t you talking today?”

The girl’s heart is always sensitive, quickly noticing the unusual mood of the person beside her.
