On the third day, when Zhong Minyan’s patience finally reached its limit, Zi Hu woke up. Her first words were, "Damn it, how dare they bite !"

Zhong Minyan said, "She’s been rescued, now you should keep your promise and take us to Buzhou Mountain!"
Zi Hu sighed. "Of course, I won’t forget, but that Snake Demon’s poison is terribly potent. I feel weak and can’t walk far. I can’t move until the residual poison is cleared."

With that, he closed the door.
Since Zi Hu was still weak from the poison, Xuanji tucked her in front with just her head sticking out to show them the way.
Ting Nu pushed his wheelchair and took them all the way to the outskirts of the city. Off in the distance, soone was sitting in the bushes. As they approached, a strong sll of alcohol wafted towards them. Yu Sifeng, both startled and delighted, went over and, sure enough, the person burst out laughing, leaping up from the ground with his ssy hair and clothes—it was Liu Yihuan.
"Brother Liu! You..." decided to change your mind and join us to Buzhou Mountain? Yu Sifeng looked at him hopefully.
Liu Yihuan stumbled over, slumping onto his shoulder, gave a hearty slap, and chuckled, "I’m here to see off Little Phoenix... This journey... is very dangerous, be extrely careful... I’m still waiting for you to co back to Qingyang and drink with !"
Yu Sifeng didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and just nodded his head. Suddenly, Liu grabbed his neck, leaned in close to his ear, and whispered softly, "If anything doesn’t feel right, co back imdiately. Don’t get embroiled in battle, understand?"
Yu Sifeng’s heart shivered, and he stared back at him, but Liu just laughed heartily, clapped him on the shoulder, and walked away.
"Little Fox~~~ Where’s Little Fox?" Liu Yihuan shouted as if his soul was wandering, then turning his head, finally spotted Zi Hu nestled in Xuanji’s arms, and with a toothy, sleazy grin, walked over.
"What are you doing?" Zi Hu stared at him warily, only to feel his large hand reaching out, lifting her up, the sll of alcohol assaulting her face, making her scream loudly with panic.
"Let
look at you again... it might be hard to see you in the future!" Liu Yihuan said as he fiercely kissed her fluffy face, startling her into stiffness.
"Hmm, little girl, take care, too." He then handed the stiff Zi Hu to Xuanji with a smile, "People can always be saved back, don’t be too anxious."
Visibly confused, Xuanji nodded her head and saw him walk towards Zhong Minyan. Zhong Minyan always looked at him unfavorably, and as he staggered over, tried disgustingly to move away. Yet, he just looked up at him, sneered coldly, and did not speak before heading over to Ruo Yu.
"Hmm, you are the smart one indeed." Liu Yihuan patted Ruo Yu on the shoulder, his smile slightly sinister, "Smart people shouldn’t do bad things..."
Ruo Yu responded with a faint smile, clasping his fists, "Brother Liu, you flatter
too much."
"Aren’t you done yet..." Zhong Minyan muttered. Liu Yihuan glared with wide eyes and shouted, "I’m tired of talking to you, you fool! The saddest thing about a fool isn’t that he’s foolish, but that he’s fool enough to think he’s smart! You idiot!"
Imdiate anger flushed Zhong Minyan’s face, prompting him to argue heatedly. Liu Yihuan waved him off and turned away, pushing Ting Nu along and saying, "Take care! Co to Qingyang when you have ti, I’ll treat you to a drink."
"This man is utterly despicable!" Zhong Minyan stord off, flying away using Sword Control, while Ruo Yu smiled and said, "Brother Liu ans well, Min Yan, don’t overthink." With that, he too flew away.
Only Xuanji and Yu Sifeng were left on the ground, glancing at each other. Zi Hu wisely feigned sleep, keeping quiet. After a long while, Yu Sifeng finally spoke softly, "Let’s go." Xuanji rushed to grab his clothes, urgently said, "Wait a minute! Si Feng... about what you told
last ti, I still don’t understand!"
Yu Sifeng did not respond. She added, "I... I don’t want us to be apart! But why did you say sothing absolute... I really don’t understand what you an! Si Feng, have you made up your mind to return to Lize Palace? Will we never see each other again?"
Thinking that he might return to Lize Palace and that it could be another decade before they t again, her heart felt an infinite sorrow. She turned around quickly, only to see his serious expression as he said in a deep voice, "But once I stay, I will never leave again. Make sure you don’t regret it."
Xuanji stared blankly as he walked over, lifted her chin with his hand, his eyes fixating on her, speaking softly, "Even if you might regret it later, I won’t leave."
Xuanji slowly broke into a smile, tears still in her eyes, but her face already bright with happiness. People often describe a woman with tears as a pear blossom bathed in rain, and now he truly understood how beautiful that state was, rendering him speechless for a mont.
"Who, who said I would regret it! I couldn’t be happier!" she wiped away her tears in a childish manner, grabbed his hand, and urgently said, "You really won’t leave? You can’t lie!"
Yu Sifeng smiled lightly, gently tapped her forehead, and spoke softly, "No lies, I will definitely not leave."
With that, Xuanji finally felt completely satisfied, wishing she could imdiately fly to Buzhou Mountain, rescue Linglong, and from then on live freely and carefree, without any worries.
