If she rembered correctly, last night she got upset with him and walked away. Although he didn’t say anything, his silence in the car likely ant he was angry too.
"No." He answered simply.
"Oh." Su Jiuyi nodded with a puzzled look, then slowly slipped her feet into the slippers Shi Aoju had prepared for her. Although they didn’t quite fit, they were indeed as he said, warm and comfortable.
"You can go back," after seeing she had put on the shoes, he picked up the file placed beside him, "I still need to go to the company."
"Okay." Su Jiuyi nodded, clutching her skirt.
He walked quickly to the doorway, his hand paused on the doorknob, contemplated for a mont, then asked, "Who was that man yesterday?"
A bit distracted, Su Jiuyi’s thoughts were still lingering on the mont he was about to help her put on high heels. Hence, she didn’t hear what Shi Aoju said and looked at him blankly, "What did you say?"
Shi Aoju looked at her with a solemn expression for two seconds, then opened the door and said "It’s nothing" before leaving and shutting the door.
Su Jiuyi was stunned for a few seconds and shook her head, indicating she didn’t understand this man.
After finishing breakfast and tidying up, when Su Jiuyi went to report, she was scolded by the Housekeeper again, saying that she had taken so many days off in just a month.
Su Jiuyi felt extrely wronged. She took leave almost never for herself, but she couldn’t say she was accompanying their boss to banquets, so she could only silently endure this marble gun fire.
"Alright, go back to work." Whether because he was tired of talking or just couldn’t be bothered with her anymore, the Housekeeper waved her away.
Receiving the order, Su Jiuyi joyfully made a "V" sign in her heart and then hurriedly ran away.
The morning work was usually quite simple, and after being with the Shi Family for a long ti, she’d find that the managent system for maids here was not as strict as she initially imagined.
As long as you have good relations with people around you and don’t get caught by the Housekeeper, sneaking rest or going on a room strike for a nap often wasn’t a problem.

"Where did you go last night? I called your cell, but you didn’t answer." Chen Qian asked.
Su Jiuyi replied, "Sorry, I forgot to take my phone with ."
Actually, she accidentally left her handbag in Shi Aoju’s car when she went to the banquet yesterday. When she returned, she didn’t have the mood to check the call records, so she didn’t realize Chen Qian had called her.
"No worries!" Chen Qian, showing her loyal side, patted her shoulder, "But where did you run off to yesterday?"
"Um..." Su Jiuyi pondered over her words, "I went ho for a bit, yes, went ho for a bit."
"Where’s your ho?" They had never discussed where their hos were located.
"Not far from here," Su Jiuyi replied, "so it was convenient to go."
Chen Qian took a sip of water from the dispenser beside the parasol and murmured, "So lucky."
"Lucky about what?"
"Lucky you can go ho whenever you want," Chen Qian said, resting her chin on her hand, "My ho is in another city, far from here. Since coming here for school, I haven’t found a decent job, but fortunately, the pay for miscellaneous work at the Shi Family is decent. My parents haven’t complained, but I can’t often go ho to see them. Sotis I really miss them."
