When the elevator finally ca down, Su Jiuyi reluctantly stepped into it, pressing the button for Shi Aoju’s floor with force.
She wanted to know if he asked her to co to his room to share so details about his collaboration with Su Zhenxiong that would infuriate her.
The door, as usual, was left open. Su Jiuyi pushed it and walked in, imdiately confronted by a perfectly inverted triangle figure. His healthy, wheat-colored skin seed waxed over his muscles, sexy and alluring.
Su Jiuyi instinctively turned her head away, her face slightly flushed.
Shi Aoju saw her reaction and chuckled lightly.
"Why don’t you close the door when you change clothes?" she asked.
"If I closed the door, how would you co in?" he replied with a smile, then put on his shirt and walked into the bathroom, ignoring her.
Hearing the bathroom door close behind her, Su Jiuyi frowned and cautiously turned around. Indeed, he was gone. She took a deep breath and noticed a pizza box on the table.
"Eh?" she exclaid, walking forward to check it out. It was from the pizza place called "Happiness" that had just opened across the street when they left KFC yesterday.
"Will eating ’Happiness’ pizza make you happy?" she had asked him then.
Shi Aoju had replied slowly, "You can try it."
At that ti, she was too full and refused, "I better not, I’ll get fat..."
Unexpectedly, he actually bought the pizza back today!
Su Jiuyi felt a little moved, and without overthinking it, the scent from inside the box lured her to open it.
And she actually did so.
Just as she was opening the box and indulging in the aroma, she noticed Shi Aoju leaning against the wall outside the bathroom, arms crossed, raising an eyebrow at her.
Su Jiuyi pouted, then closed the box lid, saying with a touch of arrogance, "Don’t think one pizza can win over."
Shi Aoju smiled faintly, "I just wanted so for myself."
Su Jiuyi found herself unable to win against him and said, "So you called here just to watch you eat pizza?"
"Yeah," he replied in a serious tone, "what else could it be?"
Saying this, he really ca over, sat in the chair, flipped open the pizza box, and began to eat, elegantly picking up a slice.
"Not bad," he comnted lightly.
Su Jiuyi wore a small, pained expression. She was late again this morning, which ant no breakfast for the next week...
Although she snuck a bit of bread when she went to the staff cafeteria, it was really just a little, and had long been burned off by the tiring work.
Sotis she also complained why the Shi Family’s place was so big and needed cleaning all the ti, even though it was just done yesterday. While Shi Aoju, that carefree person, didn’t have to care at all, and lived as he pleased day by day.
"Your father," he said, "is quite amusing."
Su Jiuyi knew Su Zhenxiong’s nature. Before those more powerful than him, he always wore a facade of friendliness; with those beneath him, he was always arrogant.
"Quite amusing" was a comnt she’d never heard before.
"How?" she asked, resisting the urge to look at the pizza, still showing her discontent in her tone.
Seeing her like this, Shi Aoju couldn’t bring himself to tease her further, pushed the box towards her, and said, "Go ahead, I was kidding earlier."
