"If Shi Aoju really marries her, I’ll blow up the whole wedding with a bomb," Qi Jingren said indignantly. "I just can’t stand her."
Song Zhike tempted her to continue, "What about when Shaobai gets married?"
Qi Jingren glanced at Mr. Qin chatting with the rich kids, then raised her fork, thought for a mont, and said, "I’ll make that girl fall in love with before the wedding."

Nearly all the guests at the birthday banquet toasted Old Qian, but when it was Su Jiuyi’s turn, the red wine was replaced with juice by Shi Aoju.
"Just a little drink, I won’t get drunk," she whispered.
"If you get drunk and make a scene, won’t I lose face?" He softly whispered into her ear.
The warm breath Shi Aoju exhaled gently caressed Su Jiuyi’s ear, leaving her sowhat flustered.
"What does it matter to you if I get drunk?" Su Jiuyi, not knowing where her courage ca from, said, "If Qian Yixun gets drunk, that would embarrass you more."
She didn’t realize that her complaining tone sounded a lot like a jealous girlfriend.
Looking down at her face full of "I’m very angry" and "I’m unhappy" expressions, Shi Aoju suddenly felt his mood lifted.
Not far from them, two people who were initially disdaining each other suddenly switched into gossip mode.
"I think Su Jiuyi and Shi Aoju have sothing going on," Qi Jingren said, resting her chin on her hand while observing the people ahead.
"What do you think about Song Zhike and Su Manning then?" Mr. Qin asked with a smile, swirling his wine glass.
"They seem well-matched, but I don’t know much about Su Manning’s character, never been in contact," Qi Jingren said. "But those pampered young ladies, despite their ladylike deanor, you know the face, not the heart. I’d advise Song Zhike to be a bit cautious."
"You’re quite suspicious," Mr. Qin said, noticing her slightly ssy hair, and patiently began to tidy it up for her.
"It’s a survival skill," Qi Jingren responded.
Mr. Qin’s movents were gentle, afraid of accidentally pulling Qi Jingren’s hair.
His focused and serious deanor surprised those around. Not to ntion he rarely greeted girls today, and even the flirty girls approaching him couldn’t engage him in conversation. His gaze often drifted towards Qi Jingren when he was chatting with others.
"Do you have many admirers abroad as well?" he asked.
Qi Jingren didn’t answer his question directly but instead earnestly asked, "Do you often help girls with their hair like this?"
Sunlight filtered through the canopy, scattering like golden dust at the tips of Qin Shaobai’s hair, and his dark eyes held a touch of mist.

Standing from a distance, Song Zhike gently swirled a glass of red wine, his gaze focused on Su Manning, who was greeting friends. Her face radiated happiness, and her eyes sparkled with excitent. It seed she wasn’t as shy as he had thought; beneath it all, she was quite outgoing, just selective about who she showed it to.
After chatting with her friends, she jogged over to him, still carrying the joy from before. Even her steps seed extra light.
"What made you so happy?" Song Zhike asked with a gentle smile, like the spring breeze of March.
Su Manning shook her head, saying, "Nothing much, just so won’s talk."
Song Zhike smiled, leaning closer to her, and said, "Are you afraid of ?"
