Because of the clothing issue, Shen Cheng and Shi Yu left first. Wen Wan, holding the will, found it improper to stay longer, so she personally went to the kitchen to make a bowl of longevity noodles for the old man. After instructing the butler, Uncle Zhang, to take it upstairs, she left.

Wen Wan smiled and refused the man’s offer, then turned around to get into the car.
"Wen Wan," Shi Yaoguang called out to her: "Since it’s on the way, let take you back. Today, with the festivities, many guests will be drinking alcohol and so might get drunk. Drunk driving is strictly checked now, so nobody would dare to risk it. That’s why later, the driver will need to take them back ho as well."

Old Li, the driver who had been with the old man for eighteen years, knew a thing or two about Shi Yaoguang and Wen Wan’s past. That’s why he had spoken earlier to help Wen Wan out of an awkward situation.

"Madam, please get in the car."
Heeding the driver’s reminder, Wen Wan didn’t hesitate and promptly ducked into the car.
The driver also got in, started the engine, and then steadily drove off.
As the car gradually receded into the distance, Shi Yaoguang’s gaze beca lancholic. The barrier of a car door and the growing distance further estranged the already distant pair.

Shi Yaoguang’s expression returned to normal, but he didn’t respond to Ye Jin’s words, rely saying, "I have a last-minute eting, I need to get back to the company."
"Leaving so soon?" Ye Jin said, withdrawing her hand in displeasure, "When we ca you had co alone, and now you’re letting go back alone... people who don’t know better might think there’s a problem with our marriage."
