The old man laughed, "My body is still quite strong."
"Yes, you’re quite strong," Shen Cheng agreed with him, but her hand that was supporting him didn’t let go.
The old man turned to glance at her and caught sight of a box in her other hand, so he spoke up: "You brought a gift, and you didn’t present it to this old man."
Hearing him ntion it, Shen Cheng rembered and hurriedly held out the box towards him: "It’s just a small token of appreciation, I hope you like it, grandpa."
"Call grandpa." The old man didn’t reach out to take it.
Shen Cheng couldn’t help but smile, "Please accept this, grandpa."
Only then did the old man hum a response, taking the box from her hand and handing it to a bodyguard following behind, "Take it back to my room."
"Yes."
Shen Cheng walked around the garden with the old man, chatting about Xiao Ao Jue and Little Tian Jue, and even took out pictures of the two little ones to show him.

After the old man left, Shen Cheng walked back the way she ca, and on the way, she called Wen Wan to ask where she was now. She felt relieved upon hearing that Wen Wan had arrived.
Spotting Shen Cheng from a distance, Shi Yu quickly walked towards her. As he approached, he extended his hand, pulling her into his embrace, his voice low and sowhat suppressed: "Where did you run off to? I couldn’t reach you on your phone."
"I took a walk around the back." Shen Cheng explained, pulling out her phone to show him: "It ran out of battery right after I made a call."
"You scared to death." He held her tightly.
"What?" Shen Cheng asked, confused.
"There are over a dozen fierce dogs in the backyard, they bite," Shi Yu frowned slightly, his voice still sowhat low: "From now on, you’re not allowed to run around without my permission."
"Why didn’t you tell about the fierce dogs? Lucky I ran fast, or I would have been torn to pieces," Shen Cheng looked very serious, not at all as if she was lying.
Upon hearing her words, Shi Yu’s eyes suddenly turned icy, "Did those beasts chase after you?"
Shen Cheng nodded, "Hmm."
Shi Yu hugged her tightly, his voice husky: "Later, I’ll have soone slaughter them."
Shen Cheng: "..."
That’s too violent!
"But those Tibetan Mastiffs belong to your grandfather," she said.
"I’ll slaughter them all the sa."
"If you have people kill those dogs, will your grandfather have you killed?"
"Yes."
"Then why would you still have them killed..."
"For you, what does it matter if a few people die."

"Your skills in sweet-talking won have improved a lot, every word you say is like a love poem," Shen Cheng gently pushed him away, her lips curving up lightly: "I was just kidding, I didn’t go to the backyard."
Shi Yu narrowed his eyes slightly, "Getting cocky, huh?"
Not giving Shen Cheng a chance to speak, he cupped the back of her head and kissed her on the lips.
Just as their lips touched, a teasing female voice ca from the side: "Brother, sister-in-law, are you live broadcasting this? Do you need to act as a reporter and capture this intimate scene?"
