After giving the instructions, Shen Cheng politely said ’thank you’ to the doctor.

Shi Yu and Shi i, however, had virtually no reaction, their expressions cold and indifferent as ice, showing complete apathy.

Seeing this, the doctor didn’t say much and left straight away.

Wen Wan was quickly wheeled out by several nurses. She lay on the gurney, her complexion pale and devoid of any color, white as paper.

"Mom."

Shi Yu and Shi i both stepped forward, each taking one of Wen Wan’s hands.

These two mature and composed n displayed expressions just like children at that mont.

So vulnerable.

Shen Cheng stood by, watching the scene, feeling sowhat uncomfortable.

Her heart felt as if it was being tightly squeezed by a large hand, aching slightly.

She too walked over, leaning in to wipe the sweat from Wen Wan’s forehead, yet she said nothing.

She didn’t want to speak, not because she had nothing to say.

But rather, for fear that she might suddenly let out so emotional words.

Wen Wan was taken to a VIP ward. The doctor administered an IV, and also prescribed so dication.

Shen Cheng helped Wen Wan sit up and watched her take the dicine before she took the water cup from her hands.

After placing the cup on the cabinet beside them, she turned to the two n standing by the window: "You both go back, I’ll stay here and keep mother-in-law company."

Hearing this, Shi Yu spoke indifferently: "My woman is accompanying my mom, and I’m accompanying my woman."

Shen Cheng raised an eyebrow, "Can you be serious for once?"

Shi Yu narrowed his dangerous cold eyes: "If you dare to say I’m not serious again, I’ll take you ho to continue with the ’serious business’."

Continue my foot!

Shen Cheng rolled her eyes at him, too lazy to respond anymore.

Seeing the interaction between the two, Shi i couldn’t help but curve his lips into a playful smile: "It seems my call earlier was a bit untily, interrupting your mood."

Although he ntioned ’mood’, Shen Cheng sohow associated it with ’nature’.

She’s too dirty-minded!

"Good that you know," Shi Yu glanced sideways at him with a nacing tone: "You should have called the mont you decided to take mom to the hospital, not after she was admitted."

Shi i simply smiled, his long fingers tapping lightly on the window fra, rhythmically, beat after beat.

"You two..."

Helpless with her sons, Wen Wan patted Shen Cheng’s hand, "If they want to stay, let them be. You should go back and rest; it’s getting late."

Shen Cheng shook her head, "I’m not tired, I wouldn’t be able to sleep even if I went back."

"It’s almost eleven," Wen Wan frowned slightly, "Xiao Yu ntioned you’ve started to take over Nan An’s managent. Running a company is tough, and you’re still young. You can’t wear yourself out. Be good, head back early."

"She’s not leaving," said Shi Yu, walking over and wrapping his arm around Shen Cheng’s waist, nuzzling against her forehead before he looked at Wen Wan lying on the hospital bed, his lips parting slightly: "If she leaves, I’ll miss her, and when I miss her, I can’t take care of you properly."

Shen Cheng pushed him, wanting to ask him if he had no sha?

Such cheesy words, and he said them so confidently in front of others?

"Why are you pushing ?" Shi Yu looked at her sideways, hugging her even tighter, a smile playing on his lips – at tis bright, at tis faint: "Babe, didn’t I tell you before? I’m poisoned by you. I want to see you every mont, I can’t stand being apart from you for even a minute."

"Oh!" Shen Cheng responded, then lifted her head to look at him, "I need to go to the bathroom now, wanna co along?"
