"You seed so focused, I didn’t want to disturb you," Shen Cheng said as she slowly stepped into the kitchen, "Is there anything else that needs to be done? I can help."
"Just sit outside, you don’t need to help here."
As a daughter-in-law herself once, Wen Wan knew exactly how to manage the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship; being kind to the daughter-in-law was equivalent to treating her son well.
If possible, she would want her daughter-in-law to not endure even the slightest hurt or fatigue.

Seeing this, Wen Wan thought it best not to say more and gestured Feng Jiu i with her eyes to leave.
Yet, Feng Jiu i stood still, lips slightly curved, "I’ll watch you make them."

His voice was pleasant, carrying a teasing note.
Upon hearing this, Shen Cheng glared at him unhappily, "It’s not for you, so it’s none of your business if I put too much or too little."
After saying that, she added more filling to the wrapper, felt it wasn’t enough, and added even more until the dumpling was bulging.
