"No, I just feel a bit sleepy and can’t wake up." Shen Cheng raised her hand and massaged her temples.

"Don’t move, just lie down." Shi Yu’s tone was still domineering as he bent down and touched his forehead to hers.

Shen Cheng imdiately felt the warmth from his forehead that belonged only to him.

It seed almost funny how at ease she felt with him around.

"Go rest." Shen Cheng stretched out her hand to push him.

"I won’t." Shi Yu wrapped his arms around her, burying his head in her neck, greedily inhaling her scent, "I just want to hold you."

"Were you very busy last night?" Shen Cheng did not move, letting him hold her.

"Not busy."

"Then why did you feel like sleeping as soon as you touched the couch?"

"It’s only when I’m with you that I feel like sleeping." Shi Yu, with eyes closed, embraced her tightly, not willing to loosen his grip even a little.

But just at that mont, his cell phone started to ring.

Shen Cheng reminded him, "You have a call."

The hand that was embracing her tightened slightly, pressing his face against her neck, showing no intention of taking the call.

The caller seed to have sothing important to say, calling repeatedly one after the other, unwilling to stop.

A trace of impatience colored that extraordinarily handso face, and without even opening his eyes, Shi Yu reached out for his phone.

His fingers, distinct and well-ford, slid across the screen to answer the call.

Bringing the phone to his ear, his thin lips lightly moved, "Speak."

The person on the other end of the phone must have said sothing, as the already slightly furrowed brow tightened even more, but he just humd coldly in response.

Without waiting for the other person to reply, he had already hung up the call.

Putting his phone back in his pocket, he held Shen Cheng for a while longer, then whispered in her ear, "I need to head back to the office for a bit."

Saying this, he got up, his hands bracing on either side of her, and brushed his nose against her lips, "Rember to eat."

Shen Cheng nodded.

Watching him turn and leave, getting further and further away, her heart felt half empty.

Loneliness.

She had been spoiled too thoroughly and accustod too deeply by him, which was why she felt this emptiness so keenly.

With a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, she smiled.

Getting off the sofa, she walked out of the main building to the flower bed in the backyard.

After the servant prepared breakfast, they especially delivered it to the little pavilion near the flower bed.

Since getting pregnant, Shen Cheng’s appetite hadn’t been good.

Even though she was no longer experiencing morning sickness, there were still so things she couldn’t eat.

If she forced herself to eat, she would feel a revulsion.

In her own view, this was being too delicate!

It was just pregnancy, but her body was getting worse by the day.

In the past, she always knew she was not in good health, but she never paid attention to it.

Fever, fainting, these things happened frequently, but she didn’t care and never told anyone.

It wasn’t until she was pregnant that she realized just how ignorant she had been!

If she had managed her health better earlier, it might not have co to this.

Suppressing the nausea, she forced herself to finish a glass of milk.

But as soon as she put the cup down, she couldn’t help it, covering her mouth as she rushed into the restroom.

The servant hurried in after her, seeing Shen Cheng bent over the washstand, vomiting uncontrollably, imdiately stepped forward to rub her back gently, "Young Madam, are you alright...?"

Intending to comfort her, they didn’t expect it would only make her vomit more intensely.

"Ugh..."

Despite having nothing left to bring up, she continued to retch.

Her face, which was usually fair, was now dotted with fine sweat, pale without a trace of color, as if made of paper.
