Shen Cheng sat down on the sofa and had just taken a couple of sips of milk when the telephone on the desk began to ring.
Shen Cheng stood up to answer it, but then thought better of it and sat back down.
The ringing soon stopped, and then after a few seconds, started again.
Shen Cheng hesitated for a mont, but ultimately walked over and picked up the phone.
"Hello."
"Hello! Is this Secretary Shen? Could you please look for a report titled ’T-GE Project’ on the CEO’s desk?"
The woman who could answer the phone in Shi Yu’s office, the caller already knew who it must be without even thinking.
Because, usually, no one dared to enter the CEO’s office when Shi Yu was not around, let alone answer the phone.
And the fact that Shen Cheng’s secretariat was located right next to the CEO’s office was known to almost everyone.
Hearing the caller’s request, Shen Cheng glanced over the neatly arranged docunts on the desk, "You an the ’T-GE Latest Product Research’?"
"Yes, exactly that! Secretary Shen, I’m afraid I have to trouble you to personally bring that report to the eting hall on the twelfth floor."
"Okay, sure."
Shen Cheng hung up the phone, picked up the report, and left the office.
This ti, she truly acted as a formal secretary.
Doing this was indeed much better than signing docunts, stamping seals, or making coffee!
Arriving on the twelfth floor, Shen Cheng exited the elevator and went straight to the conference room at the end of the hallway.
She stopped outside the conference room and knocked on the door.
"Co in."
Upon hearing a voice from inside, Shen Cheng opened the door of the conference room and stepped inside.
But in the mont she entered, her foot suddenly slipped, and a sharp pain ca from her ankle—she twisted her foot!
And at that mont, everybody was watching her.

It was so embarrassing, especially in front of so many people!
Her hand tightened around the report, her body uncontrollably leaning forward...
Just then, Shi Yu suddenly stood up from the main seat, stepped forward quickly, and reached out to support her shoulders, stopping her from falling and straightening her up again.
His arms were so strong and reassuring that Shen Cheng cald down in an instant.
Just now, she had actually been scared.
She worried that if she really fell, it would hurt the baby inside her.
Once sure Shen Cheng was steady on her feet, Shi Yu calmly took his hands back.
Squinting his cold eyes, he gave her a brief glance, then took the research report from her hands and confidently walked back to his position.
The small commotion thus quietly subsided, but it brought an invisible storm to all those present.
The people in the conference room were all senior executives of the company, who had been dealing with Shi Yu not just for a day or two.
In their eyes, Shi Yu was soone completely indifferent to won, always focused only on his work, never paying extra attention to any woman.
But just now, he had actually taken the initiative to help a woman!
Everyone silently gasped and surreptitiously sized up Shen Cheng.
