He imdiately asked the butler to fetch Doctor Feng.

He hadn’t expected her to be so fierce.

He didn’t know when she had hidden that shard of porcelain; if she had aid at her neck instead of her leg... he didn’t dare to contemplate the consequences.

Her reference to Shi Yu stung Mo Jin, leaving his expression slightly unnatural.

Shen Cheng glanced at the people in the President’s Mansion, pushing the shard of porcelain forward again.

Mo Jin, however, commanded sternly, "Don’t back away!"

His tone brooked no resistance, and the people didn’t dare to defy him, unsure of what to do.

Shen Cheng slightly furrowed her brows, her hand movents unavoidably becoming heavier.

At this mont, the crowd no longer hesitated and stepped back.

Mo Jin wanted to stop them, but he was too weak to speak.

Shen Cheng eased the pressure in her hand; as long as she could control him, the way out was not far off.

She held Mo Jin hostage, stepping down the stairs one at a ti, and before they could exit the main door, they heard gunshots and shouts from outside.
