A bit disheartened, Shen Cheng answered and simply sat down by the poolside, placing a cup of coffee on the ground while she held the other cup, preparing to drink.
Yet Shi Yu suddenly opened his eyes, turned his head to look at her—a faint gaze carrying a tinge of cold solitude: "You’re not allowed to drink either."
With the coffee cup paused at her lips, Shen Cheng retracted her gaze slightly and asked with confusion, "Why?"
Even a sip of coffee had to be permitted by him; was this man being a little too domineering?
Shi Yu didn’t speak but instead reached for the cigarette pack lying at the poolside, lit one, and took a brooding drag. After a few seconds of silence, he spoke impatiently, "Isn’t it said that won shouldn’t touch cold things during their special periods?"
That’s the reason?
Shen Cheng’s lips unwittingly curled into a smile. Was his possessiveness too strong, his desire for control too intense, or was he actually caring for her?
She smiled teasingly, with a light voice said, "I’m not that delicate."

She lifted the coffee to her lips and took a sip. Unsweetened coffee, slightly bitter, with a tingling coolness and astringency that swiftly encompassed her mouth.
Shi Yu watched her, his gaze subtly deepening, and his large hand suddenly reached out in front of her, domineeringly snatching the coffee from her hand.

"You are not ’soone else,’" Shi Yu corrected her, looking at her, his indifferent tone as cold as his expression: "And since I’ve slept with you and tasted your saliva, would I mind using sothing you’ve used?"
Sleeping with her, tasting her saliva, did he really need to be so blunt?
Unable to hold back, Shen Cheng asked, "What does sleeping with feel like, and what does my saliva taste like?"
"No feeling, no taste."
Shi Yu exhaled such words in irritation, then continued to smoke, tilting his head back leisurely blowing smoke rings, his posture casual yet every bit exuded nobility.
With his upper body bare, his lower body subrged in water, the poolside lighting made it easy to see his perfect physique and the enticing ’Adonis belt’ that fueled seductive thoughts.
Shen Cheng t his gaze, her eyes curved into a smile, her lips pulled into a mischievous grin, "If you feel nothing, why the need to cool down, husband..."
