"Your Honor, I have finished asking my questions."

Chen Shijin sat down and gestured reassuringly to Qian Hao, who was seated in the defendant’s seat, signaling that he had a strong chance of winning the case.

When it ca ti for both sides to submit their closing argunts, Shi Keke stood up, bowed to the judge and the jury: "Honorable Your Honor, and mbers of the jury, over the years, in my long experience in court, I have never tried to influence the jury with my personal views. However, this ti, I may present my closing argunt in a different manner, and I hope you will understand."

"The most precious thing for a person is life, and the most valuable is feelings. When soone tramples on feelings with their life, it is far more heinous than committing other unforgivable cris. To the defendant, a relationship, a family, may not an anything at all, thus he can neglect his wife and children, and treat them coldly."

"But for my client, a relationship is her entire life, a family is everything to her. On her wedding day, she tearfully bid farewell to the parents who gave birth to and raised her, to start a new family, only to find herself stepping into Hell."

"My client’s physical condition is poor; she suffers from severe anemia and asthma, yet she still persevered to give birth to a son and a daughter for her husband. Ironically, her husband has assets worth over billions, yet refuses to hire a servant to care for his wife and children. After childbirth, my client’s health deteriorated further, yet she had to carry the burden of the ho alone. In order to care for two children, she hardly had the ti to go to the bathroom. She suffered sleepless nights, and took sleeping pills just to be able to have the energy to care for her children."

"But what did my client’s husband do? He rarely returned ho, neglected his wife and children, committed adultery, kept mistresses, and threatened and intimidated my client. His latter half of life beca smooth, but my client’s woes had just started. Even if she could heal from the pain as ti passed by, the suffering that her body and mind endured was a wound that could never be nded."

"Therefore, I implore Your Honor and the jury to treat this matter fairly and justly. Law is nothing without humanity, and I hope everyone will make their decision wisely."

Chen Shijin also presented his closing argunt, using both reasoning and emotion to paint Qian Hao as a good husband and father.

He also provided examples to prove that any man would make the mistakes that a man should make.

Chen Shijin’s performance in court eventually changed Qian Hao’s perception of him, making him confident that he would win the case.

After the trial concluded, the judge announced that the verdict would be delivered another day, and if either side was dissatisfied with the judgnt, they could file an appeal within fifteen days from receiving the ruling.

As they exited the courthouse, Qian Hao charged forward and grabbed Zhang Er by the hair, swearing: "Split my assets! You b****!"

Zhang Er fell to the ground, dragged by Qian Hao by the hair for at least a ter, her forehead hit hard against the stairs, splitting open and bleeding.

"Master, Qian Hao is hitting soone!" Wei Shenshen, having just received the docunt bag from Shi Keke, saw the scene not far off, recognized the person being hit, and exclaid, "It’s Zhang Er, Zhang Er is being hit by Qian Hao!"
