Su Jiuyi lay on the bed tossing and turning, unable to sleep. To be honest, it had been a long ti since she last lay in this bed, and she didn’t know why, but it suddenly felt so unfamiliar.
She thought, perhaps it’s because her family was too indifferent.

Shi Aoju frowned slightly, continuing to wipe his hair as he walked to the bedside.
He picked up the phone to check, seeing a ssage from "Su Jiuyi," his lips unconsciously curled up into a soft arc.
His distinct fingers gently swiped across the phone screen, opening the ssage.
——Are you asleep?
Just a simple four words.
Shi Aoju sat down on the edge of the bed and sent a ssage back to Su Jiuyi.
Su Jiuyi lay in bed waiting for the ssage, but in just those few minutes, she felt as if a century had passed. So she turned over, got out of bed, and started pacing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, tightly clutching her phone.
