Yu Lan stood still waiting downstairs. She was with slippers on and wore a rose quartz falbala apron. She lost weight these days and beca more coly. Her eyes even seed to be bigger. She was just looking at the the head of the stairs.
Sheng Youting went downstairs after a shower and clothes changing. When he passed Yu Lan by, Yu Lan stopped him, “Stay at ho tonight. I have sothing to talk with you. There are aides in the hospital.”
“She can’t do without now.”
“I also can’t do without you.”
Unclenching Yu Lan’s hands with force, Sheng Youting replied, “Yu Lan, you are not dying for .”
It was so hurt that she couldn’t help standing on tiptoes. Her sore eyes tried hard to keep tears back. Yet she smiled. She could tell he wished her death earnestly.
