''Is it working?'' Dr. Sam asked and smiled.
''No, don't. The next ti we et? It might not be . Doctor, you know, right? I have DID. Next ti, it could be any of my sisters and I doubt they would want to et you. Honestly, I didn't know we were coming here? Let's say, I got fooled?'' Mai said and looked at the portrait again.

''Yes. My sisters hate doctors. I don't like them either, but, I like science that's why I'm even having this conversation with you'' Mai stood up and picked a scalpel from Dr. Sam's aid box.
''I see. So Mai, before you go, can you answer one question for ?'" Dr. Sam asked and took the scalpel from Mai adding "careful with that"
''Sure, since is just one question, but, it can't be two or three because I will get angry'' Mai frowned feeling the emptiness. She smiled lifting her hands in surrender before going back to sit on the chair.
''Sure. I want to know. Do you and your sisters share the sa mory?'' Dr. Sam asked and opened his file.
''No''. Mai answered as a matter of fact and got up with her bag adding ''that's it for today, right? Cos I hate been asked a lot of questions at one ti''

''Good. Thanks for the chocolate, see you next ti'' Mai waved at Dr. Sam before leaving.

Dr. Sam took out a picture of two girls in a senior high school uniforms as soon as Mai went out. Dr. Sam looked at the picture. It was a picture of August Maijune and Julieta holding flowers with smiles.
Dr. Sam murmured as he looked at the picture ''what connection do you have with my daughter, August Maijune. Why didn't she ever ntion of you?''

Aaron Saint noticed a car tailing them since he started driving from the hospital and watched it silently through his rare view mirror.
anwhile, Mai oblivious to what he saw pointed at a restaurant on their way and turned to Aaron Saint ''let's stop here and eat before we go ho''.
Aaron Saint continued to drive ignoring her and she continued ''Mr. Saint, are you ignoring ? I just said I'm hungry?''
''I saw you munching on a chocolate when you ca out of the consulting room'' Aaron Saint said to Mai.
''That is chocolate, not food'' Mai said and glared at him.
''Let's go ho and eat''
''No, I don't want to eat at ho. I missed eating outside. I want pizza''.
''I will buy you pizza at a place I know''
''Really?'' Mai exclaid excitedly. Aaron Saint looked at the mirror as he approached a roundabout. Mai saw a few cars ahead blocking their way in the lone road and said to Aaron Saint ''it looks like we are being followed, Aaron Saint".
''Are you now realising it? You kept talking about food I almost thought you were starved to death in your past life''. Aaron Saint retorted.
''Starved to death? That is unlikely. I was probably found dead with my face stuffed in food. Looks like we won't be getting out of this that easily''. Mai added while looking at the cars.
Aaron Saint saw the cars in front of them and nodded his head saying ''yeah, looks like it''.
Aaron Saint sighed and slowed down as they approached the cars. He turned to Mai and spoke ''Mai, listen to what I'm about to say. I think they might be n from Lorca or maybe himself, I don't want you to panic or show any signs of recognition, okay?''
''Does he think I don't rember anything?'' Mai looked at Aaron Saint and asked.
''Yes, soti ago, your records went missing for a few hours at Dr. Kash's office and I found out he got soone to find out about you in the hospital''
''He really is fast, but, is August who doesn't rember him not . Even Maijune knows him'' Mai muttered.
''That is why you must pretend to be August and not expose yourself. Leave everything else to , right now, we are outnumbered, so we have to be careful''.
''Then, I will listen to you, otherwise, I was thinking of using this'' Mai opened her bag and remover a small bottle containing a liquid spray.
''What's that?'' Aaron Saint snatched the bottle from her.
''Thisthis is a mixture of dangerous chemicals, I made it last night. When this touches the skin, it poow the skin like this'' Mai removed a tissue and poured a little of the liquid on it and the tissue burned and began to lt and Aaron Saint looked at her.
''I was thinking of giving our visitors this little gift but, I guess it won't be today. I will keep it then, Maijune will be happy to use it later on''.
Aaron Saint pulled over in front of the cars and the one behind them blocked the way just like the ones in front of them.
Aaron Saint unbuckled his seatbelt and said to Mai before getting down ''stay inside until I say otherwise'"

Aaron Saint got down and walked to the cars in front of them while Mai watched him as she sat in their car.
Aaron Saint got to the cars and the bodyguards of Lorca blocked his way as one of them opened the door for Lorca to get down.
Lorca got down and Aaron Saint looked at him coldly as he spoke ''blocking the way in broad day light, are you tired of living in D-City?''
''Off course not, I dare not anger the heir of Saint Group, hi, I am Lorca Don Marco''.
''What is the aning of this?'' Aaron Saint asked looking at the cars and the people.
''Oh, I just wanted to say hello and also to ask you to give back sothing of mine which is in your custody''

''Well, for peace to reign, I suggest you have to. After all, August Maijune is my only family mber. I am her uncle''.
''You had the guts to stop when I'm going ho, and asked to give you soone who has beco my person. I Aaron Saint, should give you back my pupil for peace to reign? Don't even dream about it, Lorca or whatever you call yourself, I have full custody over August Maijune, if anyone wants to take her away; then that person must pass through before getting to her. Aaron Saint turned to go and Lorca's n stopped him. Lorca gave a dry laugh and said ''if only you knew who she really is, I guess you two must really have a fate. To be able to et like this again''.
Lorca raised his hand and signalled to his an to let Aaron Saint go. Aaron Saint ignored him and went to his car.
One of Lorca's right hand n turned to him and asked.
''Big boss, are we just letting him go?'' Lorca smiled and replied.
''No, for now, yes. But, it won't be for long. We get the girl as soon as they let their guard down. Keep tailing them''.
''Yes, boss''.
Aaron Saint got into his car and Mai looked at him anxiously and asked ''Mr. Saint, are you alright? Did he threaten you?''
''You worry too much''. Aaron Saint patted her hair a little and drove away as the cars parted and made way for him.
''He wants , right?'' Mai asked solemnly.
''Yes'' Aaron Saint replied as he looked at Lorca and his n one more ti before driving away.
''Are you going to send to him?'' Mai asked back, her voice laced with fear.
''Scared?''
''Am I not allowed to? That man is the definition of what we call unrecyclable human trash. You have no idea what he is capable off. He is a monster''
''You are mine, August Maijune. Anyone who wants to take you away will have to pass through '' Mai smiled and relaxed.
''Let's go and get you so pizza''.
Mai's mood lightened and she said ''really? I almost forgot about food. Now that you ntioned it, my stomach is growling''.
Aaron Saint chuckled and shook his head as he drove away.
