I have personally eaten Miss Ever's snacks each ti I stay at the hotel. She isn't soone to make sure a mistake, so, you must find out if soone if out to make things difficult for her'' Mr. Denis said frankly. He has been doing business for so long and each ti he ca to D-City, he would spend his nights at Saint Hotel and it was always Ever's snacks that kept him full after a hard day's work. He believed Ever wasn't a careless person to intentionally put peanuts into his cake knowing very well he was allergic to it.

Ever ca out of the washroom, holding the blazer, she straightened it to cover the side of her torn skirt but it was still visible and Jayden saw it.

''God morning, Mr. Saint, good morning Miss Ann'' Ever greeted them and turned to Mr. Denis, ''I still have to go and report for work, Mr. Denis, thank you and I'm sorry once again''
Jayden looked at her coldly and his eyes fell on the blazer in her hands. It didn't look like it was a blazer for ladies, where did she get it from? He wanted to ask her as she walked to the door and Ann tapped his hand subtly.

''You must be busy. You can leave, I will be discharged tomorrow'' Mr. Denis said to them.
''Then, I will treat you to a al after you are discharged, Mr. Denis'' Jayden said to him and he nodded

Outside, Ever saw Peter waiting at the OPD and walked to him ''you didn't go yet?'' Ever asked him.
''How could I leave you alone? Here, I promised to get you a new skirt. You should change into that before you leave'' Peter said and handed her the bag.
''Right, I almost forgot. How much do I owe you including the money you spent on the bike?'' Ever asked and looked into her bag.
''Are you going to pay ?'' Peter asked and snatched her handbag from her.
''Yes, I should do that. You helped a lot today''
''Then, let's do it this way. Treat to a al and we are even'' Peter said and looked behind Ever. He saw Jayden looking at them.
''What are you looking at?'' Ever asked and turned and saw Jayden. Because the blazer was now in Peter's hand, her thigh was exposed. Jayden frowned as he looked at her as he walked toward them. he stopped in front of her and spoke.
''You should watch your image, Miss France. What kind of dressing is that?'' he said and glared at her before walking away.
''Go on and change. I will wait here for you'' Peter said and wrapped the blazer around her waist.
''I will be back'' Ever looked at the direction of Jayden and went towards the washroom to change.

Jayden removed his phone and dialled Jade's number as the driver drove away.
''Hello, brother. What a surprise to see your call'' Jade's cheerful voice could be heard from the phone.
''Get a new outfit, Ever's size and et her up. Make sure she changes into it even if she is wearing sothing else'' Jayden said on the phone and Ann turned to look at him. He wanted his sister to get a set of clothes for Ever to change? Was it because of the man beside Ever? She was clearly holding a branded shopping bag and Ann was sure there was a change of clothes in there for her.
''Brother, did sothing happen to my Everest dear?'' Jade asked.
''Just do as I say and don't ask questions''
''How much are you going to pay ? If I am going to do what you want and make her wear what I send, I need a good excuse for that. You have to pay . I can't do that for free''

''I will wire it to you right now, you con artiste'' Jayden said and hung up. He started pressing his phone to send the money to Jade.
''That man seed to be close to Miss France. That was his blazer around her waist'' Ann said.
''When we get back to the hotel, get all the recordings of the surveillance caras in the hallways and elevators'' Jayden said to her.
''Yes, sir. Do you intend to investigate this matter?'' Ann asked.
''This isn't just about Ever. This concerns the reputation of our hotel. I can't allow soone to ss with my employee''
''Yes, sir'' Ann said and clasped her hands together.

Ever arrived at the hotel in a taxi and saw Jade standing at the entrance with a cup of coffee and a bag from Liyah's clothing brand.
''Jade? Did you go shopping?'' Ever asked as she walked to her.
''Yes, aunt Liyah called to check out so new clothes and I saw one particular dress in it that I thought would be perfect for you, so I bought it. Let's go in, you can change into''
''I can do that later. I am late and still have a lot of requests to et'' Ever said as they walked inside the hotel.
''That won't do'' Jade said.
''What won't do?'' Ever asked.
''Nothing, let's go inside first'' Jade said and pulled Ever along as she walked hurriedly.
''You are really acting weird; do you know that?''
''I want chocolate cupcakes. Did you make so yesterday?'' Jade asked as they got into the elevator.
''I knew you would co to only for cupcakes. Let's go, I will make you sothing else that you will like. I ca up with a recipe last night. You can taste it for . If you don't die, then I can recomnd it to my guests''
''Tsk. I don't want to eat it then''
''That was a joke'' Ever said and they laughed as they got on the elevator.
Kitchen.
Ever entered the kitchen and saw everyone looking at her.
''Miss Ever, you are finally here'' Emma said hugging Ever.
''Is alright, Emma''
''How did it go?'' the chief chef asked as everyone got around her with the exception of Benita.
''It went well. He won't be pressing charges against or the hotel''
''That's such a relief. I was worried that you might get fired because of this case'' Emma said worriedly almost in tears.
''I'm sorry to have troubled everyone''
''Miss Ever, how did this kind of thing happened? You are always a careful person. I still can't believe this'' one of the kitchen staffs said.
''Soone must be out to ss with , but I intend to investigate this matter. I won't let it go just like that'' Ever said.
''You are fine in the end; what kind of investigation do you want to do? Are you trying to prove to everyone that you have a backer?'' Benita said.
''Is soone guilty or what?'' Emma asked.
''Who is guilty? I wouldn't try to sabotage my own work by doing sothing so petty. I will beat Ever and take the title of the chief pastry chef at the upcoming contest. Why should I stoop so low?'' Benita said.
''She is right. The one who did this has no respect for food. At least I know Benita isn't capable of ssing with the food she loves to make'' Ever said and looked at Benita, ''but, when I find out who ever tried to ss with , I won't spare the person''
At the side, one of the minor chefs, looked at Ever and bit his lips. As the talking was going on he slipped out of the kitchen and went away.
''Let's go back to work, everyone'' Ever said and went to the bakery section with Emma.

At Jayden's office, Jade sat down playing a ga on her phone as she said casually to him, ''Jay, I tried to get her to change but she refused. You know how stubborn Ever can be. But, not to worry, I will make sure I get her to change in the end. What happened anyway? Why do you insist on getting her to change into a new set of clothes?''
''Just do as I said and stop asking a lot of questions'' Jayden said impatiently.
''Jay, you still like Ever, right? Listen, I don't know why you two suddenly broke up when things were going on so well between you but if you still like Ever and can't bear to let her go, instead of acting aloof, you need to hold on to her shalessly if not you might actually lose her''
