Backstage at the theater.

Xu Chengyang dragged that extrely inconvenient long dress out of the bathroom, glanced up, and happened to see Fu Weiheng walking towards him with a violin case, dressed in a suit, looking handso and impressive... just his face was a bit gloomy, but still strikingly handso.

In contrast, Su Wan bowed her head, holding up the wide skirt hem like a little follower, clattering behind Fu Weiheng with a cautious look.

Xu Chengyang paused: Did they have a fight?

When they walked over, Xu Chengyang took a few steps forward to greet Fu Weiheng: "Hey, God."

Fu Weiheng nodded slightly, silently entered the lounge to adjust his violin.

The overcrowded lounge suddenly erupted in chatter because of Fu Weiheng’s unexpected appearance—

"Wow, is that Fu Weiheng!"

"It’s him! Why is he backstage, does he have a performance tonight?"

"No way, he’s been retired for so long..."

"He’s holding a violin, isn’t he!"

"Oh my, he’s so dazzlingly handso..."

"Put away your face, he’s Su Wan’s."

...

anwhile, Xu Chengyang pulled Su Wan to his side and asked her quietly: "What’s going on? Did you guys have a fight? There’s a low-pressure atmosphere..."

Qiaozi hurriedly gathered: "Where’s Mr. Ye?"

Su Wan, puzzled, said leisurely: "Mr. Ye said he had sothing to do and asked God to fill in..."

"Wow! God can also play the viola?" Xu Chengyang exclaid, glancing at Fu Weiheng’s impressive figure, lowered his voice again, but couldn’t hide his surprise, "God plays the viola, why didn’t you ask God yesterday!"

She only just found out too...

"I guess God is not happy." Xu Chengyang speculated, "His self-esteem was hurt."

Su Wan and Qiaozi looked at each other in confusion.

Xu Chengyang rolled her eyes: "Tsk, are you dumb? If your girlfriend is in trouble and the first person you think of is not yourself but another man, would you be happy?"

Su Wan suddenly realized, God is jealous?

"I just found out he plays the viola too..." Su Wan felt innocent, "Besides, isn’t that his brother-in-law..."

Xu Chengyang tsk-tsked, dismissively: "To n, anyone other than themselves is another man, even if it’s their own son."

Su Wan: "..."

Qiaozi nudged her: "Go calm him down, n, you know."

At this mont, Su Wan’s brother-in-law happened to send a WeChat ssage—

[Ivan: I have sothing urgent, Neil went instead, rest assured, his viola is not bad.]

Su Wan felt a surge of excitent in her heart, put away the phone, walked cautiously towards him, and called softly: "Neil..."

Fu Weiheng remained silent, unchanging his expression while applying rosin to his bow.

"Are you jealous..." Su Wan stifled a laugh, and gently tugged at the hem of his suit jacket with two fingers, giving it a slight shake.

Fu Weiheng glanced at her indifferently.

Su Wan stood on tiptoe, leaned to his ear, and whispered: "Neil, I love you."

He paused, the movent of applying rosin halted montarily. For a mont, he felt her warm breath on his ear, surrounded by the pleasant scent of her.

Fu Weiheng’s gaze fell on the dimple deeply embedded on her face, and inexplicably felt a dry throat, only thinking about pressing her against the wall for a sultry kiss.

He composed himself, continued his task, and said: "Hmm, then next ti, make sure to put so effort into kissing ."

Su Wan: "..."

So calm??

Xu Chengyang watched from the side as Fu Weiheng’s expression relaxed, imdiately stepped forward with a sycophantic smile and suggested: "God, shall we rehearse a bit? We still have so ti."

Fu Weiheng plucked the strings orderly: "No need, you all play as practiced, I will keep up from the side."

"Truly a god, Wanwan!" Xu Chengyang was thrilled, shaking Su Wan’s shoulder excitedly, "What shall I do, I can’t calm down, I’m actually going to perform with my idol! I’ve got his coback debut!"

Qiaozi: "..."

The dizzy Su Wan: "..."

As ti ticked away, the program reached the fifteenth segnt, and the person in charge of the event hurried backstage to urge them.

The person in charge was soone from the student council, the one with the WeChat ID ndel Jin, fully nad Yang Erjin, who was quite familiar with Xu Chengyang, essentially one of her own.

When he ran to the lounge door with the program sheet, noticed Fu Weiheng dressed formally holding a viola by Su Wan’s side, first rubbed his eyes incredulously to confirm he wasn’t mistaken, then exclaid: "Wow!"

Xu Chengyang bead and stood beside Yang Erjin, her excited voice trembling: "You didn’t see wrong, you didn’t see wrong, you didn’t see wrong, important things are said thrice, he’s playing the viola, he’s playing the viola, hahaha..."

Yang Erjin: "What’s going on, where’s Ah Min?"

Xu Chengyang: "Ah Min fell yesterday, now lying in the hospital, so I temporarily asked God to fill in."

Yang Erjin scorned: "Xu Chengyang, you’re too unfair, using the departnt beauty to lure Fu Weiheng to play a supporting role for you?"

Xu Chengyang was dismissive: "How can you say that, he’s my future brother-in-law, what’s wrong with using him!"

Yang Erjin sneered: "Give it up, you’re still playing up."

Xu Chengyang laughed wickedly: "I bet even Old Charlie couldn’t have guessed Fu Weiheng would co on stage, let give him a surprising delight, hahaha..."

Yang Erjin twitched his eye, tapped her head with the program sheet: "Hurry up front, it’s almost your turn."

Xu Chengyang, in a good mood, chuckled and made an OK gesture, walked inside to call Su Wan and Fu Weiheng.
