After Su Yue left, Su Wan planned to call Fu Weiheng.
Just as she lit up the phone screen, ssages started popping up one after another on WeChat. Without even thinking, she knew that this rapid ssaging could only be from the dorm group, who else?
Thus, Su begrudgingly decided to check the group chat and reply. Without looking, she realized she’d totally ignored Xu Chengyang and Yao Ye’s ssages last night...

Suddenly, Su Wan’s face on the phone turned red, overwheld with images of the passionate night with Fu Weiheng. In a flash, she was panicking—

——
On the sixth day of the lunar new year, Fu Weiheng left early in the morning, and by the ti he reached Yi City, it was only eleven o’clock.
Near lunchti, unsurprisingly, Su Yue asked him to stay for lunch.
Su Wan returned to Yanchuan two days early, which made Su Yue a little reluctant but understanding. The two were just in love, in a passionate phase. Seeing how much Fu Weiheng adored Su Wan, how could they stand the half-month separation? So, she didn’t ask much and let them do as they wished.
After all, a girl is destined to get married.
Su Yue and Qin Mu accompanied the two downstairs to the neighborhood. Before getting in the car, Su Yue handed a heavy bag to Su Wan and said, "Inside, there are chicken wings I bought this morning and so specialties from Yi City. You should not visit grandpa empty-handed, take them with you."
Su Wan accepted them all, not knowing what to say, just replied, "Auntie... thank you."
Su Yue smiled and patted her shoulder, "No need to thank, we are family."
Fu Weiheng placed Su Wan’s suitcase and cello in the back, then ca over to take the heavy items from Su Wan, smiling, "Thank you, Auntie, for the trouble."
Su Yue waved a hand dismissively, "Oh, it’s my duty."
Qin Mu stood aside, reluctantly, "Ugh, a few days back and you’re leaving again, leaving and Qin Yan to love and hate each other... Sis! After my college entrance exams, I’ll fly to Yanchuan to hang out with you!"
Su Wan nodded, "Alright."
The car drove gently onto the highway. To avoid distracting Fu Weiheng, Su Wan remained silent throughout the trip, daydreaming in the passenger seat.
Watching the swiftly passing scenery outside the window, Su Wan felt a bit drowsy, found a comfortable position, and drifted into a deep sleep.
Maybe she hadn’t slept enough after getting up early, for she slept all the way in the car. When she awoke, they had entered Yanchuan City, now heading to Fu Weiheng’s apartnt.
Su Wan rubbed her sleepy eyes and stretched lazily.
Fu Weiheng, noticing the movent beside him, kept his eyes on the road but spoke, "Awake? There’s water by the car door."
Su Wan looked to her right, spotting a bottle of unopened mineral water in the compartnt below. Feeling thirsty, she grabbed it, took a sip, and then asked, "Where are we going?"
Fu Weiheng replied, steering the wheel, "We’ll go to the apartnt first, rest overnight, and visit Grandpa tomorrow."
Hearing that, Su Wan felt relieved, as she was always a bit apprehensive about eting his family elders...
Back at the apartnt, Fu Weiheng dragged her luggage into the bedroom, and Su Wan followed him inside.
He took off his coat, tossed it aside, opened her suitcase, and began hanging up her clothes alongside his suits and shirts.
"Once school starts, move your stuff over from the dorm," he said, "The new house hasn’t been renovated yet, so we’ll stay here until the marriage."
Su Wan pursed her lips and looked at him; everything was indeed prepared. Shyly, she murmured, "I haven’t even agreed to marry you yet..."
Fu Weiheng raised an eyebrow, hung the last piece of clothing, closed the wardrobe, and then walked over, pinning her against the wall. He gazed down at her, asking in a deep voice, "You don’t want to marry ?"
Su Wan awkwardly lifted her gaze, "I... um..."
His lips pressed against hers suddenly, and before she realized, she was embraced and sunk into the mattress.
...
After dinner that night, the two snuggled on the couch watching TV. Again, Su Wan found herself being lifted and carried into the bedroom by soone, and once more, the room turned heated.
So, unsurprisingly, they both woke up late the next day.
Su Wan lay limply on Fu Weiheng’s body, and in that mont, she finally understood.
Mr. Fu, who had abstained for twenty-six years, was utterly unrestrained once he started indulging, becoming the very picture of a seemingly righteous scoundrel!
However, the person in question was unfazed, giving her a good morning kiss before getting up to go to the bathroom.
Because they had to go back to Fu Mansion to see the old man at noon, Su Wan also had to drag her weary body out of bed to freshen up.
On the way to Fu Mansion, the two of them bought so soup dumplings to fill up since it was only a little after ten and still early for lunch.
Mu Qing knew Su Wan was coming and had dragged Fu Weijin into the kitchen to bake a cake early in the morning. So when they arrived, only Ye Yin Huan and Ye Fan were in the living room watching TV.
Fu Weiheng took her to the living room, saw the father and daughter sitting on the sofa, and asked, "Is Grandpa up yet?"
Ye Yin Huan took a sip of hot tea, nodded with a smile at Su Wan, and replied, "He’s up, playing chess with Dad inside."
Fu Weiheng glanced at the activity in the kitchen and led her to see the old man first.
Watching the door getting closer, Su Wan’s heart suddenly began to race, and she grew more and more nervous.
Feeling the sweat on her hand, Fu Weiheng paused, turned back to look at her, and asked, "Getting nervous?"
Su Wan squeezed her palm, "A little."
Fu Weiheng gently tucked a stray hair behind her ear, smiled reassuringly, and said, "Grandpa really likes you."
Su Wan opened her mouth, but before she could respond, Fu Weiheng had already pushed open the door.
Fu Quan and Fu Yi Yuan sat opposite each other. As soon as they entered, Su Wan only saw Fu Quan’s slightly bent back.
Fu Yi Yuan heard the sound and looked over with a gentle smile, "You’re here."
Fu Weiheng nodded and called, "Dad, Grandpa, Wanwan’s here."
Su Wan held her breath and greeted each, "Hello Grandpa, hello Uncle."
Fu Quan didn’t turn around until he placed a chess piece down.
As their eyes t, Su Wan was stunned; wasn’t this...
Fu Quan stood up with a kind smile, "Little girl, eting again, are we?"
It took Su Wan quite so ti to regain her composure, utterly shocked, "Grandpa... so you are..."
Fu Weiheng raised an eyebrow, surprised at their familiarity.
Fu Yi Yuan was also puzzled, turning to Fu Quan, asking, "Dad, do you know each other?"
Fu Quan nodded with a smile, "Yes."
Su Wan let out a sigh of relief, "We t before in Yi City."
No wonder his casual nature felt familiar.
Turns out, they were all family...
The young and promising grandson is actually Fu Weiheng?
The recent girlfriend he ntioned, was it referring to herself?
After going around in circles, the person Fu Grandpa and she talked about was actually the sa person...
Fu Quan ca over, patted Su Wan’s shoulder, and spoke with a hearty voice, "Girl, who would’ve thought your lucky boyfriend is my grandson."
Su Wan was a bit embarrassed by Mr. Fu’s praise and quickly shook her head, "Grandpa, you flatter ..."
Later, when the family sat down for a al, Fu Quan briefly recounted the events that took place in Yi City that day.
After listening, while thanking Su Wan, the family couldn’t help but feel worried. Fu Yi Yuan frowned while serving Fu Quan a bowl of chicken soup, speaking with a heavy tone, "Dad, if your legs aren’t in good shape, you shouldn’t wander around alone. If you hadn’t run into Wanwan this ti, what would we have done if sothing happened to you in Yi City?"
Fu Quan’s deeply lined face turned a little stern, "What could’ve happened? I’m still agile enough!"
Fu Weijin also advised, "Grandpa, we know you’re agile, but we’re just worried about your safety out there alone, so we hope you’ll take soone with you next ti you go out."
Ye Yin Huan chid in support of his wife’s words, "It’s always good to have soone with you."
Mu Qing suggested, "Or perhaps find so ti to go to the hospital for a checkup."
Fu Quan waved his hand impatiently, "Alright, alright, a bunch of youngsters, even more nagging than an old man like ."
Fu Weiheng placed a piece of chicken into Su Wan’s bowl and suddenly said, "Grandpa, if you want to hold a great-grandchild, you better listen to us."
Fu Quan raised his eyebrows, showing so interest, then looked at Su Wan sitting beside Fu Weiheng and smiled, "Then you two should quickly get married and give Grandpa a great-grandchild."
"Cough, cough..." Su Wan, who was listening intently to the conversation while sipping chicken soup, was caught off guard by the sudden ntion and choked.
"Take it slow." Fu Weiheng handed her a couple of tissues, gently patted her back to help her breathe, and leaned close to her ear, saying softly, "Did you hear that? Hmm?"
Su Wan’s face flushed imdiately; Ye Fan, sitting opposite her, saw it all and, biting into her at, said brightly, "Auntie, you’re blushing."
The dining table erupted in laughter.
Su Wan: "..."
That night, at the old man’s request, the two did not return to the apartnt and stayed at Fu Mansion instead.
Everyone was tacitly aware of Fu Weiheng and Su Wan’s relationship, and Fu Yi Yuan, his wife, and Fu Quan were secretly pleased, as at least the wish to have a grandchild was not far off.
After taking a bath, Fu Weiheng ca out of the bathroom, and Su Wan had already dried her hair and was leaning against the headboard reading a book. He climbed into bed, hugged her warm body close, lowered his head to kiss her earlobe, and said in a hoarse voice, "I can hardly wait for you to graduate, Wanwan."
...
That night was another endless mont of passion.
