91 Pretty Sister
The mont those words escaped her lips, Zhang Li Xue beca certain that the little girl beside Doctor Bai was his daughter. After all, the two of them looked alike. If they were not father and daughter, what else could they be?

“She’s six.”

The little girl looked up at this ti and t her brother’s gaze. “Brother Bai Qi, who is this pretty sister? Is she your colleague?” She tried to whisper, but her voice was loud enough for Zhang Li Xue to hear her words.
Zhang Li Xue looked at the little girl and thought that she was adorable. However, there was sothing in her words that made her pause.

She tried to dig that mory from her mind but noticing that the little girl was staring at her curiously, Zhang Li Xue decided not to think of this matter.
“Hello.” She couched down until she was on eye level with the little girl. Zhang Li Xue stretched her hand and smiled. “My na is Zhang Li Xue. You can say that I am your brother’s friend.”
Bai Qi could not hide his smile upon hearing the way Zhang Li Xue had introduced herself to his sister.
They were now friends.
“Sister Zhang, hello,” Bai Xi Xi greeted her politely. “My na is Bai Xi Xi. I’m six years old.”
Zhang Li Xue suddenly had an urge to hug the little girl.

“Then, can I call you Xi Xi?”
“Un.” The little girl nodded. “Most of my friends would call Xi Xi as well.” She looked at the big sister in front of her with a curious look in her eyes. “Sister Zhang, you are very pretty.”
Zhang Li Xue giggled happily. “Thank you. Xi Xi, you are adorable as well.”
Bai Qi stood at the side, watching their interaction.
Although he had never imagined that one day he would be introducing Bai Xi Xi to Zhang Li Xue, seeing that his sister could get along with Zhang Li Xue just fine made him feel more at ease.
At this ti, Auntie Ji walked out again with an anxious look on her face. The mont she saw Bai Qi at the entrance, her expression changed again. “Doctor Bai, it’s good that you are still here.”
Bai Qi looked up. “Auntie Ji, what’s wrong?”
“It’s like this. The doctor was explaining so words that I don’t understand. Can you help to explain what was going on with Xiao Yan?” Auntie Ji said.

“Thank you.” Relief washed over her face.
The middle-aged woman was anxious to see that her daughter had hurt her head. There were too many thoughts going on in her head all at once. She had heard how dangerous it would be for a child to hurt her head.
Because of that, she beca anxious and scared. Even if the doctor had tried to explain, Auntie Ji was having a hard ti understanding what he had said. She recalled that Doctor Bai was still around and hoped that the presence of soone familiar would help her to calm down.
Bai Qi was about to follow after Auntie Ji when he realized that his little sister was still with him. He looked at her, wondering if he should take her along into the treatnt room.
“Doctor Bai, if it is alright with you, I can stay here and look after your little sister.” Zhang Li Xue quickly suggested when she saw the hesitant look on his face.

“It’s fine. You have my number. When you are done, you can call and we’ll et up again.”
Bai Qi glanced at his little sister and made up his mind. “Then, I will have to trouble you, Miss Zhang.” He turned at his little sister again and spoke. “Xi Xi, stay with my friend for a while. I’ll go and look at Xiao Yan, alright?”
“Un.” Bai Xi Xi nodded. “Brother Bai Qi, don’t worry. I’ll stay here obediently and listen to big sister well.”
