85 et Up with Doctor Bai
On Saturday, Zhang Li Xue woke up and pretended that she was staying ho to watch the television and recuperate after her surgery.
However, ten minutes after her brother had left for work, Zhang Li Xue went upstairs and changed her clothes. When she co again, her mother could not hide her surprise upon seeing that the girl was all dressed up prettily.
“Li Xue, you’re going out?”
Her steps halted. “Oh... Mommy, I’m going out to buy sothing.” Her heart was racing at the thought that she was lying to her mother.
“What are you going to buy? Let go. You’re not healthy enough to go out.”
“Mommy, It has been two weeks. I just want to go out and get a little bit of fresh air. I’m healthy enough to walk around. Even Uncle Qi Zheng said so.” Zhang Li Xue held her mother’s hand and swung it around, acting coquettishly.
“Then... Do you want to co with you?”
Zhang Li Xue quickly waved her hand. “No. It’s alright. Mommy, aren’t you busy recently? How about this... I’ll go and visit Uncle Qi Zheng at the hospital and let him look at my wound.”
Li Qin Yao heaved a helpless sigh. “No need to. Your Uncle Qi Zheng is busy as well. Don’t go and disturb him.” Her brow furrowed as she continued to look at her daughter worriedly. “Alright, go ahead. Just rember to call if there’s anything.”

Her eyes lit up. Zhang Li Xue leaned over and kissed her mother on the cheek. “Mommy, you can rest assured. I’ll call you if there’s anything.”
Before her mother was going to suspect sothing or change her mind, Zhang Li Xue quickly made her escape.
She grabbed her car keys and drove away. Once she was farther away from the house, Zhang Li Xue finally heaved a breath of relief.
Her heart was still racing. Zhang Li Xue could not understand why would she feel guilty about this. It would not be the first ti that she had given so excuse to her mother, However, this ti she was especially anxious about it.
Once her AUDI entered the main road, Zhang Li Xue stopped to think too much about the matter. When she was behind the wheels, Zhang Li Xu would try hard to focus on her driving.
Last night, she had agreed to et up with Doctor Bai Qi nearby the place where she had dropped him at the hospital. She found a parking spot and sent her location and plate number to the doctor.
His reply ca a few seconds later.
While waiting for Bai Qi to show up, Zhang Li Xue browsed through her phone to check at what her friends were up to. After a while, her movent halted when she saw a post.
Mu Zhen Yu took a few photos of his new office in Y City.
Zhang Li Xue looked at the building he and his friends had chosen was under QL Property Group, the company that her Uncle Li Mu Bai was managing. Looking at the location, the building that Mu Zhen Yu and his partners had chosen shouldn’t be too far from the property that her uncle had given her.
After looking at a few photos of the office’s interior, Zhang Li Xue clicked the like button before she continued to scroll away.
Her screen changed as there was an incoming call. Zhang Li Xue stared at the na before answering the call.
“Brother Zhen Yu.” Her lips turned into a smile.
“Xiao Li Xue, I saw that you have seen the photo of my future office. What do you think? Does it look nice?”
“En. It looked nice. I saw the property you chose. It’s good.”
“Really? I think it’s a good choice as well. It took us a while to finally decide on this place.”
“Brother Zhen Yu, when you finally moved into the new office, you will have to treat to a al.”
“En. Definitely. I will invite you for a tour. When the ti cos, you have to visit.” Mu Zhen Yu laughed. “That’s right. Have you heard about the class reunion next month?”
“I’ve heard about it. Zhou Tong called to ask about my attendance a few days ago.”
“Then, are you going to attend?”
“I heard that the others are planning this reunion to welco you back to Y City. Of course, I will have to co.”
“That’s great. I thought it would be dull to go to the reunion without you around.” Mu Zhen Yu lowered his gaze and smiled at the thought of eting Zhang Li Xue again.
The last ti he had asked her out again, Zhang Li Xue had declined, telling him that she was busy with her work and personal matters.
He had wanted to ask her out again. But hearing that her brother and the triplets were on their sumr vacation, Mu Zhen Yu decided to wait.
Since they were going to a class reunion, her little bodyguards would surely not co along with her.
His mood lifted up, thinking that he could use the opportunity to get close to her again.
The two friends continued to chat until soone knocked on Zhang Li Xue’s window.
She looked up and her eyes lit up upon seeing that the person she was waiting for had shown up. “Brother Zhen Yu, I still have so matters to attend to. Let’s talk again later, alright?”
Mu Zhen Yu froze. He had thought that their conversation was going well. However, seeing that she was busy with other matters, he had quickly suppressed that unhappy feeling. “Alright. Go ahead. Let’s talk again later.”
Zhang Li Xue ended the call and alighted the car. She gave the young doctor a look over and smiled. “Doctor Bai, you’re here.”
“I’m sorry.” Bai Qi flashed an apologetic smile. “Have you been waiting too long?”
Zhang Li Xue shook her head. “Not long.” She snapped out of her trance and scold herself for standing out under the sun like a silly girl. She walked around the car and helped him with the passenger’s door. “Doctor Bai, please co in.”
Bai Qi stared at the open door and froze. He let out a low chuckle and held the door. “Thank you.”
