731 Stop Watching
Without knowing why, Fu Chen was suddenly feeling shy, knowing that his father had seen him and Bai Xi Xi together.
Fu Chen let out a cough and spoke, “Mmm... Dad, this is my classmate, Bai Xi Xi.” He turned to Bai Xi Xi and introduced, “Class Monitor, this is my father.”
Bai XI Xi saw the elder man giving her a look over. She put on a smile on her face and greeted the man politely. “Hello, uncle.”
“Hello.” Fu Yan Zi nodded. He shifted his gaze between the two young people in front of him before pausing at his son. “It’s good to see that you already made a friend in this new school.”
Fu Chen lowered his gaze and touched the tip of his nose.
His father’s words... why does it sound as if he never had any friends before?
Bai Xi Xi looked at the father and son alternately. “Then, I should go back.” She nodded to Fu Chen. “Fu Chen, I’ll see you tomorrow at school.”
After exchanging a few more polite words, Bai Xi Xi finally left.
The Fu father and son looked at the teenage girl until she turned to a corner and was no longer could be seen.

Fu Yan Zi looked at his son again and chuckled when he noticed that the boy was still looking in the direction his classmate had disappeared into. “Alright. Stop watching. The girl is already gone.”
His father’s words snapped him out of his trance. Seeing the look on his father’s face made Fu Chen look away again. “Dad, when did you return?”
“My flight arrived this morning. Then, I have to et a few people and discuss so business matters. I only got the chance to co here now.”
“Then, you haven’t seen our new ho yet?”
“Mmm...” Fu Yan Zi nodded. “I was on my way to look at the new ho. Fortunately, I ran into you here. You can show around the area.” He pulled the door to the back passenger’s seat and let his son in. Then, Fu Yan Zi followed suit.
Fu Chen saw a middle-aged man in the driver’s seat and greeted him. He still rembered his father’s assistant, whom he often addressed as Uncle Lu.
Fu Yan Zi instructed his assistant to drive into the housing area. Fortunately, with his son around, it was not difficult for them to enter through the gate.
The guard rembered that Fu Chen was a resident and imdiately let the car into the area.
“That girl just now...” Fu Yan Zi paused as he waited for his son to look at him. “She couldn’t be your girlfriend, right?”
Fu Chen looked at his father in aghast. “Dad!” He quickly composed himself upon realizing that he was overreacting. “No. Bai Xi Xi is just my classmate.”
The older man looked at his son up and down. “Look at you? Why are you getting worked up? I was just asking, alright?”
Fu Chen was quick to realize that he was being teased by his father.

“Bai Xi Xi is our class monitor. She often looks after when I just transferred schools. Coincidentally, we live in the sa neighborhood.
The corner of Fu Yan Zi’s lips turned into a smile. It was rare for him to see his son being this embarrassed. He found that this scene was quite amusing.
However, he also knew that he should not tease his son for too long. “How are things with you and the kids? Is everything alright?”
“Everything is alright,” Fu Chen said. “The kids were especially obedient and my sister has been helping out a lot.”
The car pulled over in front of the house just as Fu Chen had instructed.
“Then, how is your mother?”
The look on Fu Chen’s face softened. “Mom has been quite busy recently. She has been running around back and forth to look for Aunt.”

Fu Chen lowered his head. “Mmm... the doctor isn’t sure when she will wake up either.”

When the family heard what happened to his aunt, they all decided to pack their bags and move to Y City to look after the family.
Fu Chen and his siblings did not mind that they have to transfer school because of his aunt. In his mory, his aunt was always nice to him and would often give him a big money pocket whenever he co to visit.
Hearing that his aunt was in such a difficult situation, Fu Chen thought that he wanted to look after the family as well.
“Dad, how long are you going to stay in Y City this ti?” Fu Chen asked. “When are you leaving again?”
Usually, Fu Chen did not mind that his father had to travel a lot. He knew that his father was working hard for the family. But these days, he has to watch his mother busying herself with the kids and his aunt’s matters.
Fu Chen thought that his mother was pitiful. It would be good if their father could stay around and help their mother as well.
“My business in S Country is done. This ti, I don’t have to travel again for a long ti,” Fu Yan Zi spoke.

“But, I might have to travel to Capital City once in a while.” Fu Yan Zi spoke. Their headquarter was in Capital City. Even if he could stay in Y City, he still has to return to the headquarter once in a while.
Fu Chen thought that this was good enough. He just thought that his mother might not be so tired anymore with his father around.
