700 An Important Person
Once the matter was resolved, Wei Zi Kai left the school building and headed to work. anwhile, Zhang Li Xue decided to stay for a while to talk to both Teacher Du and the principal.
She thanked them for their cooperation and apologized for the inconvenience. This matter was supposed to be among the children and the school was supposed to take action. However, Zhang Li Xue simply could not sit still and watch as Bai Xi Xi was being bullied.
Zhang Li Xue knew that the principal and the other teachers were going to be unhappy that a guardian was coming to the school while bringing a lawyer with her.
Because of this, Zhang Li Xue stayed for a while with the teachers and promised to sponsor so equipnt that the school might need just to make the school happier.
Bai Xi Xi was no longer in trouble with her classmate and Zhang Li Xue did not want her sister-in-law to be in trouble with her teachers or the school next.
Zhang Li Xue was finally at ease when she saw the happy look on the principal’s and the teacher’s faces before she left.
Bai Xi Xi and Fu Chen walked her to the entrance to send her out.
Just as they reached the basketball court behind the school building, Zhang Li Xue turned to Bai Xi Xi again and smiled. “Alright. I’m guessing that your classmate would not bother you again the next ti. But if he ever does sothing again, Xi Xi, you have to tell , you know?”

“That...” Fu Chen hesitated as he looked at the woman in front of him. He heard that Bai Xi Xi had addressed her as ‘Sister-in-Law’, but Fu Chen was still pondering how he should properly address Zhang Li Xue. After thinking about it for a while, Fu Chen finally made up his mind. “Mrs. Bai.”

“Thank you for your help today,” Fu Chen spoke. He glanced at Bai Xi Xi and continued, “Otherwise, Class Monitor might be implicated because of .”
“Oh? What do you an by your words.”
Fu Chen cleared his throat. eting Zhang Li Xue’s gaze made him a little anxious. “Just that... Student Jian Chi and I had a few misunderstandings. I’m afraid that Class Monitor beca his target because he wanted to get .”
Zhang Li Xue was amused.
She already heard from Bai Xi Xi about Jian Chi yesterday. The boy was the sort of person who could not accept it when soone was better than him. When he could not defeat that person, he would choose to suppress that person using other thods instead.
Zhang Li Xue did not think that Fu Chen have to thank her. After all, she was doing everything for Bai Xi Xi. But seeing that he was thanking her sincerely, Zhang Li Xue decided to accept his thanks. “Then, you are welco.”
Fu Chen heaved a breath of relief. The smile on his face beca a little lighter as well.
“I heard from my sons that you and your siblings were accompanying him to play basketball,” Zhang Li Xue said. “My sons loved basketball. Fu Chen, when you are free, I hope that you can accompany them to play a little more. It’s always good for them to make friends.”

Zhang Li Xue nodded. “Mmm... Bai Xiang and Zhang Qi Lin.”
It was then that Fu Chen recalled that Bai Xi Xi had introduced the two boys as her nephews.

Bai Xi Xi stared at her sister-in-law without saying a word.
“Of course, your brother is more handso than Fu Chen.” Zhang Li Xue said.
Bai Xi Xi’s lips twitched when she saw the love-struck look on her sister-in-law’s face.
“Fu Chen seed like a good person too,” Zhang Li Xue comnted. “I am suddenly curious about his skills in basketball.”
Bai Xi Xi lowered her gaze. “Anyway, he’s not as good as you.”
Zhang Li Xue laughed. She stretched her hand and patted the teenage girl on her head. “Alright. Xi Xi, do you need to pick you up after school?”
“Sister-in-law, I will be fine,” Bai Xi Xi spoke. “I already took too much of your ti. I’m sure that you have a lot of things to do as well.”
Zhang Li Xue chuckled. “What are you talking about? Xi Xi, you’re an important person for . You’re my family. No matter how long you need , I will always be by your side.”
Hearing her sister-in-law’s words made Bai Xi Xi touched.
Sohow, this incident made her recall an old mory.
That ti, she was bullied at school and no one seed to want to take her side. The teacher seed to believe her words, but at the sa ti, she was afraid of her bullies.
Bai Xi Xi rembered the feeling when she was forced to hold back her tears. She did not want her brother to be called to school when he was already busy with his work.
Later, it was her sister-in-law who showed up and fought with her bullies’ parents.
Bai Xi Xi could feel just how she would be protected under her sister-in-law’s arms.
