648 Let’s Welco Fu Chen
The classroom turned silent the mont Teacher Du entered. Most of the students had heard the rumors about the newly transferred student. Therefore, everyone was busy craning their neck to look at the new student.
The girls were most excited as they have heard that their new classmate would be a male. anwhile, the boys were dissatisfied with the way the girls were behaving.
However, a few seconds later, Bai Xi Xi could see the girls’ disappointed looks when they realized that Teacher Du had entered the classroom alone.
The newly transferred student was nowhere to be seen.
Seeing this scene made Teacher Du sigh. She knocked on the table twice and spoke, “What is it? Are you not happy to see ? What is with everyone’s reaction.”
The girls lowered their heads to hide their disappointnt. Then, one of the boys raised his hand to ask Teacher Du about the rumored transferred student.
Teacher Du swept her gaze at the students. Slowly, a smile curled on her lips. “That’s right. You guys will have a new classmate today.”
Hearing this made the girls excited again.
Everyone’s attention shifted to the door as Teacher Du walked over to call the new student in.

A few seconds later, a pair of long legs stepped into the class. The boy swept his gaze at his new classmates. Then, his gaze stopped at Bai Xi Xi for a few seconds before he looked away again.
Teacher Du looked at the boy and spoke, “Alright, you may introduce yourself.”
The boy took a step forward. He adjusted the straps on his shoulder and spoke, “Hello, everyone, I’m Fu Chen. I’m happy to be here at Y City High School. Hopefully, we can be good friends.”
After he gave his introductions, the others began to whisper among themselves. The girls looked especially happy. They heard the rumor that the new classmate was good-looking. Obviously, this rumor did not disappoint.
Teacher Du clapped her hands twice as the class beca noisy again. “Alright. Everyone, let’s welco Fu Chen to the class.”
The classmates began to clap their hands to welco Fu Chen.
“Everyone here is a grown-up. You should know how to behave well,” Teacher Du spoke. “Fu Chen is new in Y City. If there is anything he did not understand, you guys should teach him.”
“Teacher Du, we know this.” One of the students shouted.
Teacher Du sighed again upon noticing that the class had turned noisy again. She turned to Fu Chen and raised a brow upon noticing that the tall boy was still standing beside her.
Fu Chen cleared his throat and spoke, “Teacher Du, where should I sit?”
It was then that Teacher Du rembered that she had not assigned a place for the new student. “Ah, right. I nearly forgot about this.” She swept her gaze around the classroom and noted that there were two empty seats in the class.
One of them was in the middle of the class, and another one was at the back of the class. After pondering for a while, Teacher Du finally made her decision.
She turned to Fu Chen again and gave the boy a lookover. “Fu Chen, you are quite tall. Why don’t you sit at the back with Bai Xi Xi?”
Bai Xi Xi was minding her own business when she heard the teacher call her na. She raised her head and saw that Teacher Du was pointing at her.
It took her a while to figure out what was going on.
Because of her height, Bai Xi Xi would always sit at the back of the classroom. She did not want her height to prevent the other classmate from seeing the board.
Moreover, her eyesight was quite good.
However, she was soone who preferred to sit alone. Mostly because she liked to read quietly when she had ti. This was a habit of hers from a long ti ago.
Thinking that she will have a tablemate this ti made her feel a little strange.
However, Fu Chen could not sit in the middle of the class because of his height. The seat beside her was the most suitable.
“Fu Chen, you rember our class monitor, Bai Xi Xi,” Teacher Du spoke. “This is also perfect. Bai Xi Xi, you can help to look after our new classmate.”
Bai Xi Xi naturally did not have any objection to her teacher’s words.
Teacher Du patted at Fu Chen’s shoulder and motioned the tall boy to go and sit down at his new place.
As Fu Chen walked over to the back of the class, he could notice his classmate’s gaze on him. It seed that everyone was curious about him. Fu Chen did not think that this was strange. After all, it was a little strange for him to transfer schools during his final year.
It did not take him too long to reach his seat.
Fu Chen put down the bag on the table before pulling the chair to sit down. Then, he turned to Bai Xi Xi and gave her a quick nod.
At the front, Teacher Du started to say a few words and reminded the class to send in so form that she had given them a few days ago.
Fu Chen tried to keep his concentration on the young teacher. After a long ti, he finally glanced at the girl beside him.
Today was not the first ti that he had seen her.
Yesterday, he was supposed to report to the school. However, sothing ca in and he could not co to school. Once his business was over, Fu Chen decided to go to the basketball court nearby his house.
Just as he was practicing alone, his phone rang. Fu Chen looked at the caller ID and quickly answered the phone call.
Because it was a little too hot, Fu Chen decided to walk over to the tree and sit down for a while.
It was then that he saw Bai Xi Xi walking over to the basketball court.
He watched as she practiced a few tricks and thought that she seed quite happy practicing by herself. Later, he could not hide his surprise upon seeing how she was shooting that beautiful three-pointer ball.
