549 She Should Have Noticed the Hint!
In the morning, Zhang Yi Hai walked down the stairs and found that his mother and sister were in the dining room. He walked into the dining room and listened to them discussing sothing about his sister’s leg.
It has been a few months since the accident and soon, she will have to go to the hospital to check on her leg to see if it has recovered well.
Li Qin Yao raised her head and smiled. “Yi Hai, you’re here. Co over and eat your breakfast.” As she spoke, Li Qin Yao started to take the plate of at bun and pushed it over to her son.
Zhang Yi Hai thanked his mother as he reached for the at bun. He took a bite of his food and realized that his mother has been staring at him.
His chewing movent halted. Zhang Yi Hai looked at his mother warily, wondering what was up. “Mom, why are you looking at like that?”
Li Qin Yao sighed. “Didn’t you get your final exam result today? Have you checked it yet? How is it?”
It was then that Zhang Yi Hai realized that he had not told his family about his result yet. When he was checking his result at midnight, everyone in the family has already gone to bed.
“Mommy, what do you think?” Zhang Li Xue already knew the result when she saw the faint smile on her brother’s face.
She recalled that Zhang Yi Hai and Fang Su Jin had agreed that they would tell their parents about their relationship after his final result ca out.

Zhang Yi Hai glanced at his sister before turning to his mother again. “It’s quite good. Mom, you might see giving a little speech during my graduation.”
Li Qin Yao’s expression lit up. “Yi Hai, congratulations.” She walked over to her son and hugged him. Then, she leaned over to kiss his cheek.
His mother’s move was too sudden that he found himself blushing a little bit.

“Yi Hai, congratulations,” Zhang Li Xue chirped in as well.
“Since you have done so well, what sort of reward do you want?” Li Qin Yao spoke.
This was the second ti that soone had asked him about a reward, but honestly, he did not know how he should be replying to his mother. “I’ll have to think about it first.”
Li Qin Yao patted her son on the shoulder. “Then, you think about it properly first.”
Zhang Yi Hai lowered his gaze as he began to eat. Then, he recalled his conversation with Fang Su Jin last night and looked up again. “Mom, I have sothing to tell you.”
Li Qin Yao looked at her son, thinking that her son was going to make his request for a reward. Therefore, she was not ready to hear his next sentences.
“Mom, I’m thinking of taking my girlfriend ho and introducing her to you and Dad. What do you think?” Zhang Yi Hai spoke nonchalantly.
Zhang Li Xue was in the middle of drinking so bone-strengthening soup when she heard her brother’s words. The soup that she was drinking was sprayed out on the table.
“What are you doing? That’s dirty.” Zhang Yi Hai looked at the food that he barely get to eat. However, most of them were now covered by his sister’s saliva.
Zhang Li Xue looked at her little brother in disbelief.
The person who should be blad for this incident was her little brother, alright?
How can he ntion taking Fang Su Jin to et their parents this casually?
Moreover, she did not expect her brother to be in a hurry. He was already thinking of taking Fang Su Jin ho right after he got his result!
Zhang Li Xue reached to take the napkin to wipe her mouth. Then, she turned to their mother and saw that their mother was unable to hold her surprise as well.
“You...” Li Qin Yao looked at her son in disbelief. “What girlfriend? Why didn’t I know that you have a girlfriend?”
Zhang Yi Hai coughed as he lowered his head to hide his expression. “This is why I’m telling you about it now.”
Li Qin Yao’s mouth was agape. She stared at her son for a long ti. Her children were very close to her. Usually, she would be able to tell things even without them telling her first.
