460 Do You Want to Go?
Zhang Li Xue woke up only to realize that it was almost the afternoon. Surprisingly, she had slept soundly for a long ti.
She turned to the side and saw that her husband was not around. His side of the bed was cold, showing that he had left the bed a while ago.
Zhang Li Xue stretched out in bed before she sat up and carefully get off the bed. Then, she grabbed the crutch at the side and headed to the bathroom to wash her face. When she ca out again, Bai Qi was still nowhere to be seen. After putting on so skincare on her face, Zhang Li Xue then walked out of the room.
She imdiately found Bai Qi standing beside the balcony with his phone pressed against his ear. He continued to stay silent as he was listening to the other party.
A faint smile curled on her lips. Zhang Li Xue stood still while leaning on the door fra to watch her husband.
The sunlight peeked through behind the curtains, making Bai Qi look extra handso.
There was a silly smile on her face as she continued to stare at Bai Qi. Zhang Li Xu could not help but praise Bai Qi’s good look in her heart.
Suddenly, the man raised his head and turned to look at her. Their gazes t, causing her heartbeat to accelerate.
Bai Qi then spoke to that other person in a low voice. It did not take him a long ti to end the call. Then, he placed the phone on the table and walked over to Zhang Li Xue’s side.

“Good morning.” Bai Qi leaned over to press his lips against his wife’s.
“What good morning?” Zhang Li Xue lowered her head slightly. “It’s already in the afternoon, right?”
Bai Qi laughed. “Did you have a good sleep?”
Zhang Li Xue nodded. “Un.” Each ti that Bai Qi was around, she would have a good sleep. A certain soone was very good at coaxing her to sleep.
She thought about him standing beside the balcony earlier and spoke, “Who was the person you talked to earlier?”
“Uncle Wei.”
Her eyes lit up. Zhang Li Xue recalled what Bai Qi had told her yesterday. It could be that the two were discussing what happened in S Country, right?
“What did my uncle say to you?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
Bai Qi leaned over and hugged Zhang Li Xue in his arms. Then, he carried her to the living room and let her sit down comfortably.
“You don’t have to worry.” He stretched his hand to touch her head. “Uncle Wei said that he will talk to the authority and make sure that person could no longer cause trouble for .”
“That’s good.” Zhang Li Xue heaved a breath of relief. Knowing that Bai Qi knew how to ask for people to help him made her feel more at ease.
Bai Qi had lived with his sister for years and learned how to be independent.
It was good that he knew how to be independent.
However, Zhang Li Xue also wanted him to know that he has a big family now. He can always ask them for help if he faced so trouble.
He was no longer alone. Why should he face everything by himself?
“What is he planning to do?” Zhang Li Xue asked curiously.
“I’m not sure. Uncle Wei said he has a way to make that person return to S Country.” Bai Qi held his wife tightly. Then, he buried his head in the crook of her neck. A faint sigh escaped him. “Actually, I no longer wanted to think about this matter. As long as the truth is revealed and those people who betrayed my father received their punishnt, I would be satisfied.”
Moreover, Bai Qi hoped that his little sister would never learn about what happened. At least, not until Bai Xi Xi is grown up enough to accept the news.
If she knew that their father was betrayed until he chose to end his life, how sad would Bai Xi Xi be?
“They will definitely receive their punishnt,” Zhang Li Xue said. “I trust my uncle. Even though he is not in S Country, the people he worked with will find their way to help us.”
Bai Qi pulled away and pecked his wife on the lips. Each ti that he heard her speak, Bai Qi would feel more at ease. It felt as if everything would be alright.
He could not help but think that it was very good for him to have t his little fairy.
“Are you hungry?” Bai Qi asked. “I already made the dishes that you requested last night.”
The smile on Zhang Li Xue’s face turned brighter. Then, the two of them went to the dining area together.
Bai Qi then started to serve the food on the table.
Zhang Li Xue saw that her husband had worked hard to cook for her. Other than the food she requested, there were also a few dishes that she liked as well.
The two of them had their al while eating and chatting happily.
Suddenly, Bai Qi recalled their conversation last night and spoke, “I just rember sothing. Next month, Xi Xi will be on holiday for a month. Then, when the school session starts again, Xi Xi will go to a new school.”
“That fast?”
Bai Qi smiled. “I was thinking... you did ntion that Su Jin will have her exhibition next month, right?”
“Uh-huh.”
The smile on his face widened. “Then, do you want to go? We can bring Xi Xi along with us. But of course, this is still a suggestion. I still have to apply for vacation.”
Zhang Li Xue was excited for a few seconds until she rembered that with her leg, it would be inconvenient for her to move around. “But my leg...”
“You still got . And I will convince your parents that it’s alright for you to go,” Bai Qi said. “Li Xue, I will be with you, what are you worried about?”
Zhang Li Xue continued to hesitate.
“I can take a few days off,” Bai Qi continued to coax her. “Moreover, Xi Xi hasn’t been going out on a vacation for a while. Before she goes to the new school, it would be good if she could take a little break.”
