447 Goodbye Kisses
The Fang family invited Zhang Yi Hai to sit down with them at the cafe before he leave. However, Zhang Yi Hai rejected their invitation.
He still had that polite smile on his face as he looked at the Fang couple. “Auntie, Uncle, I should head back to the city first. Otherwise, I might be stuck in the traffic.”
Father Fang looked at the young man, feeling a little regret.
The two of them had chatted for a long ti, but Father Fang still thought that it was not enough.
“That’s fine,” Father Fang spoke with a sigh. “Next ti, you have to co over to our house again. Let your Auntie prepare so dishes. It’s the least we can do after you helped us today.”
“Then, I will visit you and Auntie again when I go back to Y City.”
Hearing his response, Father Fang began to smile brightly again.
Fang Su Jin looked at her boyfriend with a puzzled look on her face.
He was going to leave after delivering the gift to his sister? Just like that?

Sohow, she could not help but think that this situation was strange. Things shouldn’t be this simple, right?
Fang Su Jin peeked into the gift bag that Zhang Yi Hai gave her earlier. There were two boxes in it. One smaller one and another was slightly bigger.
She wondered what he prepared for his sister. Does she really have to hand this package over to Zhang Li Xue? After all, they both knew that helping him send a package to his sister was nothing but his trick to spend ti with her.
After saying a few words to the Fang couple, Zhang Yi Hai turned around and left, leaving his girlfriend dumbfounded at this situation.
Her instinct was telling her that this was not the end. But her boyfriend left without looking back.
This... what was going on?
Just as Fang Su Jin was thinking about Zhang Yi Hai’s strange behavior, the phone in her hand buzzed. She looked at the screen and a light flickered in her eyes.
“Su Jin, I’m waiting for you near the gift shop. Do you want to co over and see ?”
Fang Su Jin could not contain her smile as she read this ssage. She should have known that Zhang Yi Hai would not leave just like that.
Her gaze then fell on her parents.
After sending a reply to Zhang Yi Hai, Fang Su Jin then turned to her mother and spoke, “Mom, I need to go to the bathroom.”
Mother Fang looked up. “Do you want to go with you?”
“It’s fine. You stay here and accompany dad,” Fang Su Jin said. She grabbed her purse and was about to turn around when she rembered sothing else, “Mom, I might want to walk around the shop after that.”
Mother Fang frowned. “Just don’t take too long.”
Fang Su Jin nodded obediently. “Un. I know.”
Before her mother would be able to detect her guilty conscience, Fang Su Jin turned around and left. Of course, she did not forget to check whether her parents were looking at her or not.
Fortunately, she was clever enough to co up with a reason to buy more ti for her and Zhang Yi Hai. This way, her parents would not worry when she disappeared for a bit too long.
Fang Su Jin headed to the gift shop area where Zhang Yi Hai was supposed to be waiting for her. From a distance, she could already spot Zhang Yi Hai leaning against the wall while he was waiting for her.
Because of his good looks, a few people were watching him. However, the man’s expression remained serious.
Fang Su Jin heaved a sigh. After knowing him for a while, she thought that Zhang Yi Hai was very playful, unlike the way he made others view him.
It was not strange that Zhang Li Xue would sotis complain about Zhang Yi Hai in the past.
With a smile on her face, Fang Su Jin walked over to Zhang Yi Hai’s side and stood in front of him without saying a word.
Then, she watched as a smile blood from that serious look on his face. The view was so pretty that it made her stunned for a few seconds.
Suddenly, Zhang Yi Hai stretched his hand and started to pull her into his embrace. His arms wrapped around her waist as he pulled her closer. Then, he leaned over to peck at her lips. Thinking that they would not be able to see each other for a long ti, Zhang Yi Hai decided to rain her face with more kisses.
“I thought that you were leaving so soon,” Fang Su Jin spoke between her giggle.
His brow rose. “How can I leave without my goodbye kisses?”
Fang Su Jin smiled shyly upon hearing his words. Her nose wrinkled as the man leaned over to peck at her lips again. Then, she rembered the gift bag he gave her earlier. “That’s right, Yi Hai, what did you give your sister?”
“A plush toy.”
Fang Su Jin stared at him speechlessly. “Why are you giving your sister a plush toy.”
“I don’t know what else I should give. Since I already co up with an excuse, of course, I have to prepare sothing.”
“Then, what am I supposed to say if your sister asks about it?”
“You don’t have to tell her anything. Just pretend that you don’t know anything,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “That’s right. There are two boxes of gifts in that bag. Give the larger one to my sister. The smaller one is for you.”
Her eyes lit up. “There’s also sothing for ?”
Thinking that Zhang Yi Hai had prepared a gift for her made her very happy. She could not wait to go back and look at it.
“Mhm. But you can only look at them when you arrive ho.”
“Why?”
“This way, you will rember to call when you arrive ho.” His lips curled into a smile. He held her tighter, feeling reluctant to see her leave after this. “Fang Su Jin, you have to rember to call , alright?”
