420 A Special Guest
On the next day, Fang Su Jin only showed up at the exhibition center after lunch hour.
Initially, she did not plan to show up at the center until it was a few hours before the exhibition would end. After two constructive sleepless nights, Fang Su Jin planned to catch up with her beauty sleep.
However, Fang Su Jin got a call from soone and she had no other choice but to show up earlier. A special guest had shown up and she had to go over and greet her.
Fortunately, her hotel was not that far from the exhibition center.
When she arrived at the exhibition center, Fang Su Jin could see the older woman standing in front of one of her paintings.
A sense of guilt ca over when she saw the woman. Recently, she had agreed to date Zhang Yi Hai who was a few years younger than her.
Seeing that his mother had shown up at her exhibition made her mind go wild. Thinking that the elder woman might know what they were up to made her anxious.
After watching her for a while, Fang Su Jin inhaled a deep breath before walking over to greet her.
However, before she could say a word, the woman had already turned around to look at her.

Their gazes t and the elderly woman flashed her a smile. Fang Su Jin walked over and greeted her. “Hello, aunt. Why are you here?” She swept her gaze around the place and noted that the elderly woman had co alone.
Fang Su Jin was relieved that Li Qin Yao did not show up with her husband.
After the last incident at the hotel, Fang Su Jin was a little afraid of Zhang Yu Han. Thinking of the man’s angry face when he showed up in front of her room a few months ago could still make her shiver.
Fang Su Jin could see that Zhang Yi Hai resembled his father a lot.
“Hello, Su Jin,” Li Qin Yao spoke. “It was a coincidence. I was following your uncle on his business trip. I rember that Li Xue ntioned your exhibition here. Since I am here, I decided to stop by as well. I hope I was not disturbing you.”
“Of course, not. Aunt, thank you for coming.”
Li Qin Yao smiled. “Congratulations. How was it? I saw that there were a lot of visitors coming to look at the paintings.”
“The reception isn’t that bad,” Fang Su Jin spoke. “There are a lot of artists my age joining this exhibition as well. I think that is one of the reasons this exhibition this ti is quite successful.”
“Mmm... Aunt thinks your painting is very good too. Just now, I overheard a few people complinting your paintings. Most of them were talking about color composition. Aunt always liked how your paintings are very colorful.”
Fang Su Jin lowered her head shyly. “Really?” She was extrely happy to hear complinting words from Zhang Yi Hai’s mother.
Li Qin Yao turned to look at one of the paintings on the wall. “I think I like this one best. There is sothing in this painting that draws in.”
Fang Su Jin followed her line of gaze and inhaled a deep breath.
This painting was the recent painting she drew. At that ti, her mind was preoccupied with a certain soone and she was unable to make her decision.
Her ntor said that the paintings were beautiful although it was a little different than what she always draw. Initially, Fang Su Jin did not plan to put this painting on the exhibition, but her ntor talked her into it and she later agreed.
Just then, Li Qin Yao’s phone started to ring.
Fang Su Jin watched as the elder woman picked up the phone and waited at the side.
Her gaze shifted to the painting again.
If Li Qin Yao knew that she was thinking of Zhang Yi Hai while she was painting this one, what would she think?
Li Qin Yao’s call ended a few seconds later. She turned to Fang Su Jin again and smiled. “Su Jin, have you had your lunch yet? If you don’t mind, would you accompany to eat?”
Fang Su Jin’s heart was beating wildly.
She wondered if Li Qin Yao was aware of her relationship with Zhang Yi Hai and now, she wanted to ask her to back off.
“Actually, I planned to have lunch with my friend. However, sothing ca up and she was unable to co,” Li Qin Yao spoke.
Fang Su Jin stared at the elder woman’s face for a while. After a brief hesitation, Fang Su Jin decided to agree.
Although her mind was giving her all sorts of ideas at the mont, Fang Su Jin could not really reject Li Qin Yao’s invitation. After all, she was an elder who she had known for years.
“Alright.” Fang Su Jin nodded.
The two won left the exhibition center and headed to the restaurant not too far away from the exhibition center.
Unfortunately, Fang Su Jin was too worried about this al with Li Qin Yao that she failed to notice that soone was calling her number a while ago.
Not too far away from the exhibition center, Zhang Yi Hai was seen walking over toward the center with a paper bag in his hand.
After his class ended, Zhang Yi Hai has been trying to reach Fang Su Jin’s number. However, his girlfriend did not pick up his phone call.
Zhang Yi Hai recalled what he had done yesterday and worried that Fang Su Jin might be angry at him for kissing her.
As the thought ca to his mind, Zhang Yi Hai started to panic.
It hasn’t been a long ti since he got himself a girlfriend. Zhang Yi Hai hoped that he would not return to singlehood anyti soon.
Just as he was approaching the exhibition center, Zhang Yi Hai caught sight of Fang Su Jin leaving the exhibition center.
His eyes lit up and he was about to call her na when he noticed that Fang Su Jin was not alone.
The look in his eyes quickly changed the mont Zhang Yi Hai recognized the person beside his girlfriend.
“Mom?”
As if she could hear his voice, Li Qin Yao turned around slowly. A look of confusion appeared on her face when she saw her son, standing not too far away from her. “Yi Hai?”
