Chapter 42: Bai Qi Could Easily Locate Her

Zhang Li Xue ran towards the garden with Mu Zhen Yu following closely. Once they t a few kids of the sa age, they started to play around. The little girl suggested playing basketball. However, other than Mu Zhen Yu, everyone else seed uninterested in the sport.

Most of them were young and did not know how to play the sport. Especially as Zhang Li Xue often practiced using the ball and basketball court ant for adults.

One of the boys was chosen as the seeker and Zhang Li Xue began to hide with Mu Zhen Yu. However, the boy was quick to find everyone else.

“Brother Bai Qi!” Zhang Li Xue looked at him in surprise. Realizing that she was still in the ga of hide and seek, Zhang Li Xue tugged at the boy’s hand until he was crouched down beside her.

Zhang Li Xue glanced at Mu Zhen Yu anxiously and finally breathed in relief when she saw that the man was farther away from her. She looked at Bai Qi again and blinked. “Brother Bai Qi, what are you doing here? Are you going to hide with ?”

The boy’s ears reddened.

This was not the first ti that the little girl had addressed him as Brother Bai Qi. However, each ti that he heard this calling... Bai Qi felt a little shy. Moreover, there were only two of them behind the flower bush.

“No.” Bai Qi peeked at the crowd of guests not far away from them. “Are you hiding?”

He had co with his grandmother. Seeing that her grandmother was busy chatting with her friends, Bai Qi told her that he was going to look for his friend. He had just co out to the garden when he saw the little fairy hiding behind the bush.

There were a lot of people around, but Bai Qi could easily locate her.

“Un.” Zhang Li Xue nodded. “We were in the middle of playing hide and seek. It was Brother Zhen Yu to seek us. I think it would be a while before he will find . Brother Bai Qi, do you want to play together?”

Bai Qi peeked at Mu Zhen Yu who was still searching for others. “No.”

Her relationship with Mu Zhen Yu had gotten worst on the day he had pulled this girl’s hair. Then, they stopped talking after Mu Zhen Yu pushed him at the gym.

In class, they would not communicate if it was not because of an assignnt. Their classmates were getting used to this situation.

Fortunately, they were going to stay in the sa class for another month. When they et again after graduating from kindergarten, they would be in a different school. Perhaps they would be in a different class as well.

Bai Qi was aware that Mu Zhen Yu did not like him as he has been mischievous and had done so mistakes in the past.

However, Bai Qi wanted to change.

“I just co over to find you.” Bai Qi’s face reddened as he spoke those words. His eyes widened in surprise when the girl stretched her hand to touch his cheek.

“Brother Bai Qi, your face is a little red. Are you sick?”

Bai Qi wanted the hand to stay on his cheek a little while, but the girl had already pulled her hand away. “I’m not sick. The weather is a little hot.”

Zhang Li Xue raised her head to look at the sky. The sun was hidden behind the thick clouds. “Is it?”

Bai Qi looked away and coughed. “I heard that today is your brother’s full moon celebration.” He swiftly changed the topic.

The little girl’s eyes lit up. Zhang Li Xue loved her little brother very much and liked to talk about him a lot.
