396 Are You Going to Miss ?
When Li Qin Yao walked into the dining room with her husband, she was surprised to find that Zhang Li Xue and Bai Qi were already having breakfast together.
Bai Qi was the first to see his mother-in-law. “Mom, good morning.” He was going to stand up when she saw her waving her hand at him.
“Just sit down.” Li Qin Yao walked over to her daughter and patted her head. “Good morning you both. Li Xue, you’re up early.”
Zhang Li Xue’s cheek reddened slightly. “Un. Bai Qi is going to the hospital early. Of course, I have to accompany him to breakfast.”
Li Qin Yao smiled. As her gaze fell on her son-in-law, Li Qin Yao could not help but feel distressed. The two of them had only got their marriage certificate yesterday. Supposedly, they would want to spend their ti together.
However, because of his line of work, it was difficult for Bai Qi to take a few days of leave.
Her son-in-law might have Qi Zheng as his backup, but as he was still new at the hospital, it would not be wise for him to take advantage of it.
Bai Qi watched as his mother-in-law walked into the kitchen and ca back with a few more dishes. “Mom, is Xi Xi awake?”
“She was still getting ready when I ca to her room earlier,” Li Qin Yao said. “That’s right. Bai Qi, you don’t have to worry about Xi Xi, Mom will send her to school today.”

Bai Qi hesitated. “Would it be troubleso?”
“Of course, not. Let’s just arrange it this way. From today on, Mom will be sending and picking up Xi Xi from school. Anyway, I have too much free ti at ho.”
Bai Qi looked embarrassed.
With his mother-in-law helping him, Bai Qi could arrive at the hospital sooner. However, he did not wish to take advantage of the Zhang family’s kindness toward him.
“Alright, don’t be too polite,” Li Qin Yao said. “This is only temporary. Xi Xi’s school holiday is starting soon, right? You can make a new arrangent for her once she starts school again.”
“Mom, thank you.”
“You’re welco.” Bai Qi, since you are married to Li Xue, you have also beco a part of the family. Later, if you need any help, you can talk to us.”
“Un. Mom, I understand.”
Li Qin Yao heaved a sigh. She knew that Bai Qi has been living independently after his parents had passed away. He raised his little sister alone and now, the boy was finding it awkward to have people supporting him.
But he will have to get used to it sooner or later.
“That’s right. I almost forgot,” Li Qin Yao said. “Bai Qi, Mom had prepared so wedding candies. Rember to bring them and distribute them among your coworkers.”
Bai Qi was surprised that his mother-in-law had thought to prepare so candies. “Thank you, Mom.”
As the young couple was having their breakfast together, Li Qin Yao walked into the kitchen again to prepare so coffee for her husband.
Seeing the ti, Bai Qi decided to leave for the hospital.
It was the first day that he was going to travel from Zhang’s residence and Bai Qi still was not familiar with the morning traffic.
Just as he was about to leave, Bai Xi Xi walked down the stairs while carrying her school bag.
The little girl saw them and the smile on her face turned brighter. “Brother Bai Qi, sister-in-law. Good morning.”
“Xi Xi, good morning.”
The little girl quickly reached Zhang Li Xue’s side.
Now that her pretty sister had beco her sister-in-law, Bai Xi Xi could always see her whenever she wanted. Bai Xi Xi thought that this was also a great thing.
However, a few seconds later, Bai Xi Xi quickly noticed that sothing was wrong. It seed that her brother was ready to go to work. anwhile, she still hasn’t eaten her breakfast yet.
Bai Xi Xi thought that she was late and started to panic. “Brother Bai Qi, are you heading out now? Wait for .”
“Xi Xi, from today, aunt will send you to your school, alright?” Li Qin Yao spoke.
“Ah?” Bai Xi Xi shifted her gaze between Li Qin Yao and her brother.
Bai Qi crouched down to get to his little sister’s level.
“Brother Bai Qi, is it alright for my aunt to send to school?”
Bai Qi nodded. “This way, you don’t have to leave for school too early.” He patted his sister on her hair. “You should go and have your breakfast first. Then, you have to listen to Auntie Li and go to school, alright?”
“Brother Bai Qi, I’m very obedient.”
Bai Qi flashed an assuring smile. “Then, I will go to work first. Later, Auntie will pick you up from school. Don’t run around, alright?”
The little girl nodded again. After saying goodbye to her brother, Bai Xi Xi followed Li Qin Yao into the dining room for breakfast.
anwhile, Zhang Li Xue followed Bai Qi out to the porch. After walking a few steps, Bai Qi turned around to his wife again. He leaned over to cup her face and pressed their lips into a deep kiss.
When he pulled away again, Zhang Li Xue was looking at him shyly.
“Will you have to work the night shift today?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
“Mmm... Probably not today.” His thumb was caressing her cheek. “Are you going to miss ?”
Zhang Li Xue nodded softly.
“Then, you have to wait for to return.”
“Un. You have to co back early.”
Bai Qi leaned over again to kiss her one more ti before turning around to his car.
Zhang Li Xue heaved a long sigh as she watched the car disappear from her view. Bai Qi was only gone for a few seconds, but she was missing him terribly.
It was a very strange feeling.
Now that they were married, Zhang Li Xue began to miss him a lot more. She wished that she could stick around him the whole day, but she could not do anything since Bai Qi had to work.
What should she do? She missed him very much.
After staying outside for a while, Zhang Li Xue finally headed into the house again. She wheeled her wheelchair into the dining room and saw that everyone was gathered for breakfast.
Her gaze fell on her brother and Zhang Li Xue recalled the strange look on Zhang Yi Hai’s face during dinner yesterday.
