374 Fooling Around
Zhang Yi Hai woke up late. After taking a shower, he was planning to head downstairs to find sothing to eat when his mother asked him to check on his sister.
As he approached the bedroom, the door was ajar and Zhang Yi Hai could hear the sounds of laughter. One of them belonged to Fang Su Jin. The two of them sounded so happy that Zhang Yi Hai could not resist checking what was going on.
However, he did not expect that the mont he appeared at the door, he would witness sothing strange.
His sister and Fang Su Jin were touching each other’s bodies inappropriately... He clearly saw his sister put her hand on Fang Su Jin’s chest.
The scene was a bit too much for him and now, his thoughts were running wild.
Zhang Li Xue inhaled a deep breath when Fang Su Jin stopped tickling her. “It’s nothing. Su Jin and I are just fooling around.” She flashed a smile. “Yi Hai, why are you here?”
“Mmm... Mom told that you are getting a certificate tomorrow,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “I ca over to check if you need help with anything.”
“It’s just getting a certificate. There are not many things for us to do,” Zhang Li Xue said. “Don’t worry. Su Jin is here to help .”
Zhang Yi Hai knew that this was a sign for him to leave. But at this mont, his legs felt as if they were glued to the floor. Zhang Yi Hai could not help but steal a few glances at Fang Su Jin.

Last night, he spent a sleepless night, trying to figure out the awakening feeling in his heart. He thought that perhaps if he did not see her for a long ti after going back to his campus, he would stop thinking about Fang Su Jin.
But, Zhang Yi Hai did not expect that he would see her again so quickly.
Looking at her reddened cheek made his heart go restless.
“Yi Hai?”
His sister’s voice snapped him out of his trance.
“What’s wrong?” Zhang Li Xue noticed that her brother has been spacing out.
Zhang Yi Hai cleared his throat. “Nothing. I just saw that your clothes are everywhere on the mattress. Sister, do you need my help to clean up?”
Zhang Li Xue turned to look at the clothes piling up on her bed. “It’s fine. Su Jin was helping to pick up an outfit for tomorrow. We’ll clean it up later after this.”
“Mmm....” Zhang Yi Hai nodded. “Then, I’ll be going first. Just call if you need my help.” He wanted to stay but could not find a reason to do so. In the end, he could only leave.
Once her brother left, Zhang Li Xue finally turned to Fang Su Jin again. Seeing her friend’s reddened cheek as she hid her face away made her think that it was funny.
“Su Jin, what are you doing?” Zhang Li Xue asked.
Fang Su Jin was too embarrassed to look up. “It’s embarrassing. Li Xue, your brother should have seen what we are doing, right?”
Zhang Li Xue understood her friend’s thoughts. Instead of consoling her, Zhang Li Xue clicked her tongue instead. “Who told you to ss up with ?” A few seconds later, Zhang Li Xue started to laugh again. “Alright. What are you embarrassed about? Isn’t it normal for friends to fool around? My brother had seen us fooling around since forever. There’s nothing for you to feel embarrassed about.”
Fang Su Jin had the urge to go back ho and hide.
Why does it feel as if Zhang Yi Hai always caught her in an awkward and embarrassing position?
Just then, Li Qin Yao walked over to announce that lunch was prepared.
Suddenly, Fang Su Jin started to panic again.
She knew that Zhang Yi Hai would definitely be around as well.
However, Fang Su Jin could not reject this invitation. She had already agreed to stay for lunch.
Fang Su Jin could only follow Li Qin Yao to the dining area.
When they arrived, Zhang Li Xue’s grandparents were already seated. However, Zhang Yi Hai was nowhere to be seen.
Fang Su Jin heaved a breath of relief. She sat beside her friend before sweeping her gaze around the room to look for Zhang Yi Hai.
Suddenly, her movent halted.
Fang Su Jin realized that she was acting silly. She was too shy to look at Zhang Yi Hai when he was right in front of her. But when the man was not around, her eyes would start to look for his silhouette.
Her gaze lowered.
Fang Su Jin heaved a sigh, wondering just what was wrong with her.
“Sorry, I was answering a phone call.”
The familiar voice sent a tingle to her body.
Just then, Fang Su Jin raised her head slowly. When she looked up, she realized that Zhang Yi Hai was sitting across from her.
Their gaze t before Fang Su Jin looked away again.
Her heartbeat accelerated, knowing that Zhang Yi Hai was still looking at her. Fang Su Jin found that she could not sit still.
The auntie ca out to serve the food and everyone started to eat.
As it was planned for Zhang Li Xue to get her certificate tomorrow, the elders were busy talking about it. Because of that, no one seed to realize the strange look on Fang Su Jin’s face.
She lowered her gaze as she ate her rice silently. Fang Su Jin did not dare to look up and et Zhang Yi Hai’s penetrating gaze again.
“Sister Fang.”
Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing him speak her na.
Fang Su Jin raised her head slowly and t Zhang Yi Hai’s gaze again. Then, she watched as his lips slowly blood into a smile.
It was too dangerous.
The image was too much that Fang Su Jin began to worry about her heart condition.
“Don’t just eat your rice,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “The dishes my mom made are very delicious as well.”
It was then that Fang Su Jin realized that she has been eating her rice without bothering to eat the dishes.
“Su Jin, was the food not to your preference?” Li Qin Yao asked when she heard her son’s words. “I will ask Auntie to prepare sothing else for you, alright?”
Fang Su Jin waved her hand. “Aunt, it’s alright. Your cooking is really good. It’s just that I have sothing in mind.” To prove that she liked the dishes, Fang Su Jin clipped on the vegetable dishes and started to eat.
A breath of relief escaped her when she realized that the elders had stopped paying attention to her.
Then, she looked up again and caught Zhang Yi Hai watching her with a faint smile on his face. The look on his face was as if he was laughing at her.
