314 Accidentally Kick the Table
Bai Qi tried to call Zhang Li Xue’s na a few tis. But seeing how she had pushed his hand away and treated him like a noisy fly made him chuckle.
It seed that is little fairy was too tired after walking around the whole day.
He stretched his hand and reached for the remote control to turn off the television.
Soon, the room turned silent.
Bai Qi turned his head to look at his sleeping girlfriend again.
The way her lips slightly parted as she breathed was too adorable. Bai Qi sat at the side to admire his girlfriend’s pretty face for a while. Then, he reached for his phone and took a picture of her sleeping face.
He stared at the picture and thought that his girlfriend was really cute. Just seeing her face could make him smile.
This picture was kept on his phone for a long ti. In the future, each ti he missed his little fairy, Bai Qi would take a look at this face and his mood would turn better.
Seeing that Zhang Li Xue seed uncomfortable in her sleep, Bai Qi then carried her in his arms and carried her to bed.

Bai Qi held the girl in his arms carefully, as if she was a precious treasure. He placed her gently on the mattress and tucked her in. He leaned over to kiss her cheek and pulled away.
A heavy breath escaped him.
Bai Qi knew that if he did not walk away and leave now, the person who will suffer will be him. Even so, he was a little reluctant.
He stretched his hand and patted her head a few tis.
Once he had enough, Bai Qi turned around and switched off the light. The room was dark, and the only source of light ca from the living area. Because of that, Bai Qi accidentally kicked the table to the side and almost tripped himself.
The commotion was a little too loud causing Zhang Li Xue to wake up from her sleep.
The girl sat up almost imdiately and started to look for the source of the noise. Her heart beat against her ribcage furiously. She squinted her eyes against the light and finally saw a familiar silhouette.
“Bai Qi?”
Bai Qi was trying his best to suppress the pain in his feet when he heard her voice. He finally turned around and saw that his girlfriend was awake.
“Sorry,” Bai Qi said. “Did I wake you up?”
Zhang Li Xue heaved a breath of relief upon noticing that the person was really her boyfriend.
Seeing that her surroundings were dark and the silhouette at her door made her anxious.
After being traumatized by her Aunt Han Yue Xiu by watching a scary movie, Zhang Li Xue beca afraid of the dark, especially knowing that she was in an unfamiliar place.
She stretched her hand and turned on the light at the bedside table. The light gave her comfort. This ti, she could see Bai Qi’s face. Seeing that he was rubbing his foot, puzzled her. The furrow on his brow showed that he was in pain.
“What happened?” Zhang Li Xue pushed the quilt cover aside and walked over to her boyfriend. She squatted beside him to look at his foot.
“It’s nothing.” Bai Qi forced a smile. “I accidentally kicked the table.”
Zhang Li Xue glanced at the table before looking at Bai Qi in disbelief. The table was big enough and it was not in the middle of the pathway. How did he accidentally kick the table?
“How did you accidentally kick the table?”
Bai Qi coughed. “I guess, it was too dark. I couldn’t see clearly.”
Of course, Bai Qi could not tell that he was busy looking at her that he did not notice the table. The result was this little accident.
Zhang Li Xue held his hand and helped him to sit down on the chair.
The sleepiness disappeared as it was replaced by worry.
Kicking a table might sound like a minor thing, but what if the injury was swollen?
“I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt anymore.” Bai Qi patted her hand. “You should go back to sleep. Don’t worry about .”
“Then, what about you?”
“What about ?”
“Can you return to your room like this?”
Bai Qi was stunned by her question. He composed his thought quickly and chuckled.
This girl, wasn’t she worrying too much?
“Li Xue, I accidentally kicked the table. It’s nothing serious.” His voice was soft and coaxing.
“That’s true.”
“Alright, go to sleep. I’ll go back to my room first.”
Zhang Li Xue stared at his feet for a long ti before raising her head again. “Otherwise, you could spend your night here.”
His eyes darkened. Bai Qi raised his head to look at his girlfriend. But he soon noticed that Zhang Li Xue has been avoiding his eyes.
“Anyway, it’s just sleeping, right?” Zhang Li Xue t his gaze and shot an anxious smile. “It’s not as if we haven’t slept on the sa bed together before.”
The last ti they slept on the sa bed together was at his old apartnt. At that ti, Bai Xi Xi was at ho and he still knew that he should not do anything inappropriate.
But now they were in a hotel room with no one watching them.
Bai Qi did not know if he could continue being a saint if he was to sleep on the sa bed as her. He was a man with normal urges. And this was the person that he loved the most.
“Li Xue...” His voice was a little husky.
“Don’t think too much.” Zhang Li Xue pushed a few strands of hair behind her ear. “I still did not forget that we have to wake up early tomorrow morning.”
Bai Qi stared at the girl, wondering if he should laugh or cry.
This girl was teasing him, right?
He wanted to get angry, but this was his little fairy and he could not do anything to her.
After a while, an exasperated sigh escaped him. “Alright. It’s just sleeping.”
