296 Mu Zhen Yu Felt Worst
Zhang Li Xue finally saw that Mu Zhen Yu was looking at Bai Qi. The smile on her face turned a little awkward. But then, she quickly gathered her thoughts.
She had already told Mu Zhen Yu that she was dating soone. So, she shouldn’t feel too awkward about this.
Moreover, Bai Qi and Mu Zhen Yu used to be classmates. It was not strange for Mu Zhen Yu to co over and look at them.
Zhang Yi Hai narrowed his eyes. He could not understand the reason why Mu Zhen Yu had co over, but he kept his emotion hidden well.
Bai Qi looked at the man in front of him and nodded. This was not the first ti that they had seen each other. Subconsciously, Bai Qi’s grip on Zhang Li Xue’s hand was a little tight.
Zhang Li Xue was already his girlfriend, but each ti that he heard her call Brother Zhen Yu, he would still be unhappy.
“Brother Zhen Yu,” Zhang Li Xue spoke again. She glanced at Bai Qi and smiled. “You should know Bai Qi. In the past, we used to go to kindergarten together.”
“That’s right.” Mu Zhen Yu nodded. He suppressed the awkward feeling in his heart and spoke. “I ran into him not too long ago. I didn’t know that he had returned to Y City. Bai Qi, it has been a long ti since we both see each other. Next ti, we should get together and catch up.”

Mu Zhen Yu’s gaze went to the couple’s matching outfit. Then, it shifted to their intertwined hands.
At this ti, Mu Zhen Yu really believed that the two of them were really a couple.
“Xiao Li Xue,” Mu Zhen Yu spoke. “You and Bai Qi...”
Her lips curled into a shy smile. Zhang Li Xue nodded briefly. “Un. We’re... dating.”
Mu Zhen Yu felt as if sothing heavy was pressing his chest.
He suddenly recalled the night when he had seen Zhang Li Xue and her boyfriend in front of the restaurant long ago. That man’s silhouette matched Bai Qi.
Then, he recalled the night when he ran into Bai Qi in front of the cake house and Bai Qi’s gentle expression when he ntioned his girlfriend.
The smile on Mu Zhen Yu’s face stiffened. “When did the two of you get together?”
“It probably hasn’t been too long ago,” Zhang Li Xue spoke.
This only makes Mu Zhen Yu feel a lot worst. The question ‘what if...” reappeared in his mind. He could not stop thinking what if he had confessed his feelings earlier? Then, the person who stood beside Zhang Li Xue should be him, right?
At that ti, why did he decide to pursue his study in G Country?
Why didn’t he stay by her side?
So many questions appeared in Mu Zhen Yu’s head. But looking at the person in front of him, Mu Zhen Yu could not stop laughing at himself.
Just now, he had seen how the triplets and Bai Qi had been chatting like old friends. From the look at it, the triplets seed to be accepting Bai Qi quite well.
This was sothing that he had never experienced throughout his years of knowing Zhang Li Xue.
The triplets were always very respectful towards him, but the triplets had never been that friendly with him.
Of course, what Mu Zhen Yu did not know was that the triplets heard that their uncle lost in a basketball match against Bai Qi and now, they were persuading him to have a match with them as well.

He wanted to speak, but his mind was a ss and he could not co out with the questions he wanted to ask.
“Brother Zhen Yu, are you alright?” Zhang Li Xue noticed that the look on Mu Zhen Yu’s face was a little pale.
The question snapped him out of his trance. “I’m alright.”
Mu Zhen Yu looked at the couple in front of him and thought that their fate was quite funny.
The only male who was close to Zhang Li Xue was Bai Qi. Then, he left for S Country. Since then, Mu Zhen Yu did not see anyone else who was close to Zhang Li Xue. Perhaps, it was because of this that he beca confident that Zhang Li Xue would wait for him.
In the end, Bai Qi returned and got together with Zhang Li Xue.
His brother was right. He was indeed an idiot.
Mu Zhen Yu chuckled. “I should go now.”
He had a lot of things that he wanted to say, but Mu Zhen Yu realized that this was not the appropriate ti. He did not want to create a ruckus. They were at Zhang’s company’s anniversary and there were too many people around.
Zhang Li Xue looked at him in puzzlent.
She could not help but think that Mu Zhen Yu has been acting a little strange. Zhang Li Xue wanted to go after him when Mu Zhen Yu had turned around to leave. However, Bai Qi had already grabbed her hand, stopping her.
When she turned to Mu Zhen Yu again, Zhang Li Xue realized that the man was already with his brother.
Zhang Li Xue lowered her head. Mu Zhen Yu was with his brother. Then, he should be alright.
Although she was concerned about Mu Zhen Yu, it was really not suitable for her to comfort him as she already had soone by her side. Furthermore, Zhang Li Xue also knew that Mu Zhen Yu liked her. Zhang Li Xue understood this logic and this was the reason she should not leave.
She turned around and looked at Bai Qi. Her lips curled into a faint smile. After a while, she leaned over to rest her head on Bai Qi’s arms.
