At the center of the basketball court, Bai Qi was still guarding Zhang Yi Hai. However, with the shoes that he was wearing now, it was definitely too hard for him to control his movent.
They both knew that the match was unfair, but both of them chose not to say a word about it.

Bai Qi took a deep breath as he watched the ball enter the hoop. Then, the ball fell down and bounced on the floor again. Bai Qi could not help but heave in disappointnt. He made a reminder to get used to the shoes he was wearing and win the match.
“Zhang Yi Hai!”
Zhang Li Xue’s voice was loud in the hall. The two n stood up quickly and turned their heads almost at the sa ti. Seeing Zhang Li Xue’s angry face made them both shiver in fear.
“Sister.” There was a trace of guilt in his eyes. His sister would not get angry easily, but each ti that his sister was angry like this, Zhang Yi Hai would grow afraid of her.

Bai Qi walked over, wanting to calm his girlfriend, however, the girl was quick to shoot him a sharp look.
“And you.” Zhang Li Xue pointed her finger at Bai Qi. “Don’t you rember that you have injured your legs a few days ago? And you still played in those shoes?”
She saw how Bai Qi had slipped because of the shoes he wore. That scene almost gave her a heart attack!
The thought that he would be injured again made her distressed. Bai Qi still had to climb up the stairs to go ho. If he injured his ankle again, how was he supposed to move around?
The two n stared at Zhang Li Xue in silence. Both of them were in shock that they would suddenly get scolded. For a while, they did not know how to react.
“Li Xue,” Bai Qi was the first to speak. He stretched his hand, wanting to touch his girlfriend. But, the girl quickly avoided him.
Seeing how angry she was at this ti made his heart ache.
However, Bai Qi knew that Zhang Li Xue was only concerned about him.
“Sister, I’m sorry. It was my fault,” Zhang Yi Hai quickly spoke. “I saw that Brother Bai was quite good at basketball and I wanted to see his skills.”
Looking at the man who had suddenly beco his sister’s boyfriend made him unhappy. Zhang Yi Hai wanted to test Bai Qi’s skills and at the sa ti, he wanted to bully him a little bit.
He knew that his sister would not like what he do. However, he did not expect that his sister would be very furious.
“Li Xue, don’t be angry,” Bai Qi spoke softly. His tone was coaxing her. “It was my fault too. I shouldn’t try to show off when I wasn’t wearing proper shoes.”
“You said that you had almost gone professional. Is this the attitude of soone who almost goes professional?” Zhang Li Xue was still angry.
Bai Qi swallowed anxiously.
How can he forget that his little fairy can be very strict when it cos to basketball? In the past, hadn’t he experienced how it felt to train under her?
anwhile, Zhang Yi Hai’s expression began to change. He turned to Bai Qi and asked, “You almost go professional?”
Bai Qi nodded. “Un. After high school, I did receive an invitation. However, I had to decline to enter dical school.”
Zhang Yi Hai began to look at Bai Qi in a different light. He had thought that Bai Qi’s skills were good. He did not expect that the man was that good. If only he was wearing proper shoes, Zhang Yi Hai would definitely lose the match.
Realizing that a certain soone was still angry, the two n quickly turned to coax her again.
“Sister, didn’t you say that you wanted to talk?” Zhang Yi Hai spoke again. “Why don’t I go and change my clothes quickly? Then, we’ll go to that chicken wings place you wanted to go, alright?”
Initially, it was he who wanted to interrogate his sister about her boyfriend. However, after what happened, Zhang Yi Hai did not think that he will have the chance to play the bad person.
His sister was supposed to be the anxious one. But now, their roles had been reversed.
Zhang Yi Hai could only hope that ntioning chicken wings would be able to calm down his sister.
“Then, you wait here. I’ll go and change my clothes quickly.” Zhang Yi Hai quickly made his escape and left the angry Zhang Li Xue to Bai Qi.
Bai Qi could only watch as Zhang Yi Hai made his escape. He looked at his girlfriend again and spoke in a gentle voice. “Don’t be angry, alright? I know that I was wrong. But Li Xue, I thought that playing a short match could perhaps help to bond with your brother.” He stretched his hand and was finally able to hold her hands. “I don’t an to be this reckless. I love you.” He smiled. “I think I was just eager to get your brother’s approval.”
