134 Visit Li Xue?
Zhang Li Xue blinked once. Twice.
Then, she sat up with her eyes still on Bai Qi. The smile on her face finally convinced her that the person was real.
It was then that Zhang Li Xue rember that she had a fever and was now staying in the TV room with her little brother. She looked around and finally heaved a breath of relief upon seeing that her brother was sleeping soundly. His body turned to the other way and he would not be able to see her and Bai Qi.
“Your uncle had a eting today,” Bai Qi spoke in a low voice. “He asked to co over to check on you and your brother.”
Zhang Li Xue froze for a few seconds. Then, she shrunk into the sofa again as she pulled the blanket to cover her body up to her nose. “Oh, God. I told them that we don’t need a doctor. It was just a fever. We’ll be fine after drinking so dicine and sleep.”
Bai Qi smiled as he recalled eting his little fairy’s mother.
He could see that her parents really loved her and her siblings a lot. He could not deny that he was jealous of their relationship.
The smile on his face gradually faded as he thought of his dead parents. But he quickly suppressed that feeling.
“How did you catch a cold?”

“It was raining yesterday...” Zhang Li Xue trailed off. She did not want to tell Bai Qi about the accident and made him worry. “Maybe I was standing outside for too long.”
Although she had put on an umbrella, Zhang Li Xue had stood under the heavy rain for too long. When she returned ho, her shoes were wet up to her pants. Perhaps, it was because of that that she had caught a cold.
Bai Qi could not stop himself from stretching his hand and pinching her softly on the cheek. “Zhang Li Xue, are you a child? Didn’t you know you’re supposed to play with the rain?”
His movent halted. Bai Qi retracted his hand and lowered his gaze. “I’m sorry.”
Zhang Li Xue shook her head. She thought of sothing and smiled. “Is this the way you often scold Little Xi Xi?”
The smile on his face returned when he heard her words. Bai Qi let out a breath of relief upon realizing that Zhang Li Xue did not mind his sudden action.
He also did not know what was going on with himself.
Bai Qi just thought that the girl in front of him was too adorable and he could not stop himself from wanting to pinch her reddened cheek.
The mory of what happened at the basketball court yesterday reappeared in his mind. He looked away to hide the smile on his face.
Although his lips rely brushed against her cheek for a few seconds, Bai Qi realized that he could not forget that sensation. Just now, he had touched her cheek again. And now, his fingers were tingling.
Bai Qi frowned as he tried to brush those thoughts away.
He looked up again with concern in his eyes. “How are you feeling?”
“Mmm... After eating so dicine and a few hours of sleep, it didn’t feel too bad,” Zhang Li Xue said. “But my throat hurt. It was difficult to swallow”
Bai Qi reached for his bag and took out so equipnt. “Open your mouth wide.”
Zhang Li Xue followed his instruction obediently.
A few seconds later, Bai Qi put down the torch in his hand. “Mmm... your throat is a bit swollen. I will prescribe so dicine for you. But you have to rember to drink more fluid, alright?”
Zhang Li Xue could not help but giggle. She thought that the doctor in front of her was very gentle. “Un. I know.”
Bai Qi heaved a sigh. He wanted to stretch his hand to pinch her cheek again, but this ti, he managed to stop himself on ti.

In the living room, Li Qin Yao was surprised when she found that the guest was no other than her daughter’s best friend, Fang Su Jin.
“Su Jin?” Li Qin Yao flashed an amiable smile. “Are you here to visit Li Xue?”
“Ah? No.” Fang Su Jin tightened her hold on the paper bag in her hand. Inside the bag was Zhang Yi Hai’s jacket that she had borrowed yesterday.
When she arrived ho, Fang Su Jin realized that she had forgotten to return the jacket to him. Because she did not want her parents to ask too many questions, Fang Su Jin washed the jacket herself.
Fang Su Jin seed to recall that Zhang Yi Hai liked this jacket and would often wear them.
Thinking that Zhang Yi Hai liked this jacket a lot, she decided to return it quickly now that it was dry.
Just as she was about to speak about the reason for her visit, Fang Su Jin realized that there was sothing wrong with what Zhang Li Xue’s mother had said.
Visit Li Xue?
Wasn’t she supposed to be at work at this ti?
Fang Su Jin had deliberately picked this ti to return the jacket so that she would not run into her friend. But from her mother’s words, it sounded like Li Xue was at ho.
“Auntie, what happened to Li Xue?”
“She caught a cold,” Li Qin Yao said with a sigh. “Her brother, Yi Hai too. It seed that they both were trapped in the rain yesterday.”
“Ah? Yi Hai too?”
Fang Su Jin recalled how a certain soone had lent her his jacket because of the rainy weather. She did not expect that Zhang Yi Hai would catch a fever because of her. Fang Su Jin could not help but feel guilty.
“Auntie, how are they?”
“They both fell asleep after drinking their dicine,” Li Qin Yao said. “That’s right. Su Jin, why are you here?”
Fang Su Jin gripped the paper bag again.
She was going to return the jacket and passed it to Zhang Yi Hai’s mother. But now that she had heard that the boy had caught a cold because of her, Fang Su Jin began to hesitate.
Zhang Yi Hai caught a cold because of her. It would be too heartless if she did not visit him, right? But she could not tell Auntie Li that she was going to visit Zhang Yi Hai, could she?
“Auntie, can I visit Li Xue?”
Li Qin Yao could not help but felt that Fang Su Jin was acting a little strange today. But she quickly brushed that thought away upon hearing her question. “Alright. I’m sure that Li Xue would be happy that you ca here to visit.”
