Child, child, child!
Ever since she got pregnant, Iris Harris seed like a completely different person, not only daring to challenge him but also not being as warm towards him as before.

Brandan Hyde’s face grew increasingly dark, and before his rationality could return, he had already torn the divorce papers to shreds and thrown them into the trash!
Iris Harris watched his actions, her face paling instantly, and heard Brandan Hyde’s cold, sinister voice, "If you don’t get rid of the child, don’t even think about stepping out of the Hyde Residence! Iris Harris, you will never have control over in your lifeti. If you want to live like a widow here, feel free!"

"Iris Harris, the one thing I have in abundance is money," Brandan Hyde looked at her, "I don’t care about the little money you’re offering. You can get a divorce, but you must abort the child!" He pressed his lips together and added, "I don’t want you dragging a child along and entangling in endless trouble in the future!"

While he spoke these words, Iris Harris remained silent throughout.
After a long ti, she glanced at the divorce papers in the trash and softly said, "Then I have nothing more to say. Good night, Mr. Hyde."
Saying this, she turned to leave.
Brandan Hyde looked at her face, a wave of frustration surged inside him, and he instinctively grabbed Iris Harris’s wrist, pinned her against the wall, and asked through gritted teeth, "In your heart, am I more important, or is the child?!"

Brandan Hyde slightly pressed his lips together, watching Iris Harris’s departing back, and clenched his fist, feeling a sense of uncontrollable frustration.
He realized he couldn’t understand what Iris Harris was thinking at all.
Why insist on this child?
He couldn’t comprehend it.
Yet unconsciously, he started to feel extre hostility toward this unborn child.
He didn’t want this child, and no matter what, he wouldn’t accept it.
Brandan Hyde stood where he was, his lips slightly pressed together, his gaze revealing a trace of coldness.

Brandan Hyde only felt the resentnt within him grew daily with Iris Harris’s disregard.
This weekend, Brandan Hyde drove to the hospital to visit Viola Harris.
Viola Harris was currently in rehabilitation at the hospital, and she ntioned she could already get out of bed and walk.
Seeing her gradually recover, Brandan Hyde’s guilt towards her diminished considerably.
"Brandan’s here."
Mrs. Harris was in the ward and greeted Brandan Hyde warmly upon his arrival, "It’s been a long ti since you’ve co over. Has work been busy?"
